Predicting depression intensity from microblogs and social media posts has numerous benefits and applications,including predicting early psychological disorders and stress in individuals or the general public.A major challenge in predicting depression using social media posts is that the existing studies do not focus on predicting the intensity of depression in social media texts but rather only perform the binary classification of depression and moreover noisy data makes it difficult to predict the true depression in the social media text.This study intends to begin by collecting relevant Tweets and generating a corpus of 210000 public tweets using Twitter public application programming interfaces(APIs).A strategy is devised to filter out only depression-related tweets by creating a list of relevant hashtags to reduce noise in the corpus.Furthermore,an algorithm is developed to annotate the data into three depression classes:‘Mild,’‘Moderate,’and‘Severe,’based on International Classification of Diseases-10(ICD-10)depression diagnostic criteria.Different baseline classifiers are applied to the annotated dataset to get a preliminary idea of classification performance on the corpus.Further FastText-based model is applied and fine-tuned with different preprocessing techniques and hyperparameter tuning to produce the tuned model,which significantly increases the depression classification performance to an 84%F1 score and 90%accuracy compared to baselines.Finally,a FastText-based weighted soft voting ensemble(WSVE)is proposed to boost the model’s performance by combining several other classifiers and assigning weights to individual models according to their individual performances.The proposed WSVE outperformed all baselines as well as FastText alone,with an F1 of 89%,5%higher than FastText alone,and an accuracy of 93%,3%higher than FastText alone.The proposed model better captures the contextual features of the relatively small sample class and aids in the detection of early depression intensity prediction from tweet

Gastroenterology case report of mesalazine-induced cardiopulmonary hypersensitivity

Mesalazine is a 5-aminosalicylic acid derivative that has been widely used to treat patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Accumulating evidence indicates that mesalazine has a very low rate of adverse drug reactions and is well tolerated by patients. However, a few cases of pulmonary and cardiac disease related to mesalazine have been reported in the past, though infrequently, preventing clinicians from diagnosing the conditions early. We describe the case of a 32-yearold man with ulcerative colitis who was admitted with a two-month history of persistent fever following mesalazine treatment initiated 14 mo earlier. At the time of admission, mesalazine dose was increased from 1.5 to 3.0 g/d, and antibiotic therapy was started with no improvement. Three weeks after admission, the patient developed dyspnea, non-productive cough, and chest pain. Severe eosinophilia was detected in laboratory tests, and a computed tomography scan revealed interstitial infiltrates in both lungs, as well as a large pericardial effusion. The bronchoalveolar lavage reported a CD4/CD8 ratio of 0.5, and an increased eosinophil count. Transbronchial biopsy examination showed a severe eosinophilic infiltrate of the lung tissue. Mesalazine-induced cardiopulmonary hypersensitivity was suspected after excluding other possible etiologies. Consequently, mesalazine treatment was suspended, and corticosteroid therapy was initiated, resulting in resolution of symptoms and radiologic abnormalities. We conclude that mesalazine-induced pulmonary and cardiac hypersensitivity should always be considered in the differential diagnosis of unexplained cardiopulmonary symptoms and radiographic abnormalities in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.

Co-occurrence of germline pathogenic variants for different hereditary cancer syndromes in patients with Lynch syndrome

Background:Lynch syndrome(LS)is a hereditary condition characterized by a high risk of colorectal cancer,endometrial cancer,and other neoplasia associated with germline alterations in DNA mismatch repair genes.The classical genetic diagnostic strategy for LS consists of the Sanger sequencing of genes associated with the suspected syndrome.Next-generation sequencing(NGS)enables the simultaneous sequencing of a large number of hereditary cancer genes.Here,we aimed to study whether other germline pathogenic variants of hereditary cancer genes are present in patients with LS.Methods:A cohort of 84 probands with a previous genetic diagnosis of LS by Sanger sequencing was reanalyzed using NGS via a commercial panel of 94 hereditary cancer genes by hybrid capture.The American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics criteria were used to classify the clinical significance of the variants.The findings of NGS were confirmed by Sanger sequencing.When possible,genetic analyses of the new findings in the proband’s relativeswere also performed by Sanger sequencing.Results:We identified five families(6%),out of 84,with at least two germline pathogenic variants conferring to high or moderate risk in different dominant cancer-predisposing genes:[MLH1-BRCA2-NBN],[MLH1-BRCA1],[MSH2-ATM],[MSH6-NF1],and[MLH1-FANCA].Interestingly,only one out of these five families exhibited a clinical phenotype associated with the new pathogenic variants.The family with three pathogenic variants of the[MLH1-BRCA2-NBN]genes showed a high aggregation of tumors associated with LS and breast and ovarian cancer syndrome.Conclusions:Our results showed that the co-occurrence of more than one pathogenic variant in cancer-predisposing genes was remarkable among cases of LS.Inmost cases,no clinicial manifestations were associated with the secondary pathogenic variants.Further studies are needed to confirm these findings and elucidate their clinical impact.Reanalysis of LS families should be considered only in families with mixed clinical phenotypes.

Multi-Image Studies of Atypical Location of Ventricular Aneurysms and Survival: Clinical Cases Series

Background: A left ventricular aneurysm is a mechanical complication of a myocardial infarction that frequently develops on the anterior and apical wall. Survival of 3 to 5 years is 27% and 12%, respectively. Our objective is to report 3 cases of ventricular aneurysms in atypical locations and analyze the survival of these patients. Material and Methods: Three patients with suspicion of ventricular aneurysm after acute myocardial infarction who sought?attention at our institution were included. All underwent transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR), nuclear cardiology (NC),?coronary angiotomography and cardiac catheterization to assess the location and characteristics of the aneurysms, left ventricular systolic function and the?anatomical and functional condition of the coronary arteries. Results: The mean age of studied patients was 58.33 ± 10.37 years. The locations of the ventricular aneurysms were lateral, inferior and septal. The patients received optimal medical treatment to control heart failure and were discharged in stable condition without early mortality. The mean follow-up was 6.33 years (intervals: 2 - 9) and during this period the patients were in NYHA functional class I/II. Conclusion: Left ventricular aneurysm is a late mechanical complication of an infarction that can develop in an atypical location. Diagnosis is achieved using non-invasive techniques such as TTE, CMR, NC, and coronary angiotomography. No mortality occurred among the patients during medium and long-term follow-up.

Crystallographic Properties of the Unsupported Ni-Mo Carbides Phases

In the present work, the crystallographic properties of unsupported Ni-Mo catalyst serie were carried out. They were synthesized with a ratio of Mo from 10, 25, 50 to 75 wt%. The final catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) in order to identify crystallographic phases present in the solids using DRXwinsoftware version 2.3. The crystal size was determinated by Bragg’s law. Ni-Mo catalyst model (MoC-75) structure was modeled by Carine Crystallography Software version 3.1 which was built based on its space group and atomic positions which were previous the results of XRD. Characteristical phases of Ni-Mo Carbides were identified for their typical planes (111), (200) and (311) for Ni-Mo series and the plane (101) for the a Mo-C series.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced background.This paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATlaS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATlaS experiment.Two taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet pseudorapidity.Differences in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.
