In spite of the high potential economic feasibility of the tandem solar cells consisting of the halide perovskite and the kesterite Cu2ZnSn(S,se)4(CZTSse),they have rarely been demonstrated due to the difficulty in implementing solution-processed perovskite top cell on the rough surface of the bottom ***,we firstly demonstrate an efficient monolithic two-terminal perovskite/CZTSse tandem solar cell by significantly reducing the surface roughness of the electrochemically deposited CZTSse bottom *** surface roughness(R_(rms))of the CZTSse thin film could be reduced from 424 to 86 nm by using the potentiostatic mode rather than using the conventional galvanostatic mode,which can be further reduced to 22 nm after the subsequent ion-milling *** perovskite top cell with a bandgap of 1.65 eV could be prepared using a solution process on the flattened CZTSse bottom cell,resulting in the efficient perovskite/CZTSse tandem solar *** the current matching between two subcells involving the thickness control of the perovskite layer,the best performing tandem device exhibited a high conversion efficiency of 17.5%without the hysteresis effect.

To investigate the characteristic radiologic findings of cryptogenic multifocal ulcerous stenosing enteritis (CMUse) which can be differentiated from other similar bowel disease and to assess their clinical behavior. METHODSTwenty pathologically and clinically confirmed CMUse patients (males:females = 8:12; mean age: 40.4 years) between March 2002 and August 2015 from seven academic centers in South Korea were retrospectively reviewed. We evaluated small bowel series (SBS; n = 25), computed tomography (CT) enterography (n = 21), magnetic resonance (MR) enterography (n = 2), and abdominopelvic CT (n = 18) images, focusing on enteric and perienteric manifestations. Any change in radiologic features during follow-up period was recorded. We evaluated clinical data including presenting symptoms, laboratory finding and presence of relapse from electronic medical records. Histopathologic findings were also evaluated. RESULTSThe main symptoms were abdominal pain (n = 12) and anemia (n = 10). All patients showed small bowel strictures (n = 52, mean: 2.6 per patient) on initial CT/MR, located in the ileum (n = 47) or jejunum (n = 5). Strictures showed short-length (mean: 10.44 mm) and circumferential bowel wall thickening (mean: 5.56 mm) with layered enhancement (n = 48) that were also noted on initial SBS (n = 36) with shallow ulcers (n = 10). Some ulcerative lesions or wall thickening progressed into strictures on follow-up SBS/CT, and some strictures revealed recurrent ulceration on follow-up SBS. There were no penetrating disease features like fistula or abscess and no gastrointestinal tract involvement except the small bowel. Nine patients experienced disease recurrence (median relapse-free period: 32 mo) even post-operatively. Histopathologic features of surgically resected specimens were characterized as multiple superficial ulcerations confined to mucosa or submucosa and multiple strictures. AIM:To elucidate the effects of dexamethasone on hypoxia-induced epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EMT) in colon ***:Human colon cancer HCT116 and HT29 cells were exposed to normoxic(21%) and hypoxic(1%) conditions. First,the effect of dexamethasone on cell viability was examined by MTT cell proliferation assay. In order to measure the expression levels of EMT markers(Snail,Slug,Twist,E-cadherin,and integrin αVβ6) and hypoxia-related genes [Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)] by dexamethasone,quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and western blot analysis were performed. Furthermore,the morphological changes of colon cancer cells and the expression pattern of E-cadherin by dexamethasone were detected through immunocytochemistry. Finally,the effects of dexamethasone on the invasiveness and migration of colon cancer cells were elucidated using matrigel invasion,migration,and wound healing migration ***:Under hypoxia,dexamethasone treatment inhibited HIF-1α protein level and its downstream gene,VEGF m RNA level in the colon cancer cell lines,HCT116 and HT29. In addition,the presence of dexamethasone down-regulated the m RNA levels of hypoxia-induced Snail,Slug,and Twist,all transcriptional factors of EMT,as well as hypoxia-induced integrin αVβ6 protein level,a well-known EMT marker for colon cancer cells. Furthermore,reduced E-cadherin in hypoxic condition was found to be recoverable by treating with dexamethasone in both colon cancer cell lines. Similarly,under hypoxic conditions,dexamethasone restored the growth pattern and morphological phenotype reminiscent of colon cancer cells grown under normoxic conditions; dexamethasone blocked the migration and invasion of both colorectal cancer cell lines in ***:Our study suggested that dexamethasone has inhibitory effects on cell migration and invasion by suppressing EMT of colon cancer cell lines in hypoxic condition.

AIM:To investigate the clinicopathologic features of patients with extra-gastrointestinal stromal tumors(EGISTs)in South ***:A total of 51 patients with an EGIST were *** clinicopathologic features,including sex,age,location,tumor size,histology,mitotic rate,immunohistochemical features,genetic status and survival data,were ***:The median age was 55 years(range:29-80years),and male:female ratio was 1:*** most common site was in the mesentery(n=15)followed by the retroperitoneum(n=13)and omentum(n=8).The median tumor size was 9.0 cm(range:2.6-30.0cm)and the median mitotic rate was 5.0/50HPF.(1/50-185/50).KIT was analyzed in 16,which revealed 10cases with wild-type KIT and 6 cases with an exon *** 51 patients,31 patients had undergone surgery,and 10 had unresectable disease and had taken palliative imatinib,which resulted in 22.7 mo of progression-free *** the patients who had undergone surgery,18 did not take adjuvant imatinib,and 8 of these were categorized as"high risk"according to the risk ***,the relapse-free survival was not different(P=0.157)between two ***:Because the biologic behaviors of GISTs differ according to the location of the tumor,a more stratified strategy is required for managing EGISTs including incorporation of molecular features.

Background： Until now, various types of combined therapy with nucleotide analogs and pegylated interferon （Peg-INF） in patients with hepatitis B patients have been tried. Howe6ver, studies regarding the benefits of de novo combination, late-add on, and sequential treatmentare very limited. The objective of the current study was to identify the efficacy of sequential treatment of Peg-INF after short-term antiviral treatment. Methods： Between June 2010 and June 2015, hepatitis 13 e antigen （HBeAg）-positive patients （n = 162） received Peg-IFN for 48 weeks （mono-treatment group, n = 81） and entecavir （ETV） for 12 weeks with a 48-week course of Peg-IFN starting at week 5 of ETV therapy （sequential treatment group, n = 81）. The primary endpoint was HBeAg seroconversion at the end of follow-up period after the 24-week treatment. The primary endpoint was analyzed using Chi-square test, Fisher＇s exact test, and regression ***： HBeAg seroconversion rate （18.2% vs. 18.2%, t = 0.03, P = 1.000） and seroclearance rate （19.7% vs. 19.7%, t = 0.03, P = 1.000） were same in both mono-treatment and sequential treatment groups. The rate of alanine aminotransferase （ALT） normalization （45.5% vs. 54.5%, t = 1.12, P = 0.296） and serum hepatitis B virus （HBV）-DNA 〈2000 U/L （28.8% vs. 28.8%, t = 0.10, P = 1.000） was not different in sequential and mono-treatment groups at 24 weeks of Peg-INF. Viral response rate （HBeAg seroconversion and serum HBV-DNA 〈2000 U/L） was not different in the two groups （12.1% vs. 16.7%, t = 1.83, P = 0.457）. Baseline HBV-DNA level （7 log10 U/ml vs. 7.5 log10 U/ml, t = 1.70, P = 0.019） and hepatitis B surface antigen titer （3.6 log10 U/ml vs. 4.0 log10 U/ml, t = 2.19, P = 0.020） were lower and predictors of responder in mono-treatment and sequential treatment groups, respectively. Conclusions： The current study shows no differences in HBeAg seroconversion rate, ALT normalization, and HBV-DNA levels between mono-therapy and sequential therapy regimens.

AIM: To assess the efficacy and safety of weekly docetaxel plus a fixed-dose rate(FDR) of gemcitabine in metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(SCC).METHODS: A multi-center, open-label, prospective phase Ⅱ study was ***-three esophageal SCC patients with documented progression after fluoropyrimidine/platinum-based first-line chemotherapy were enrolled and treated with docetaxel 35 mg/m2 and gemcitabine 1000 mg/m2 iv at a FDR(10 mg/m2 per minute) on days 1 and *** was repeatedevery twenty-one days until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, or consent *** primary endpoint was response rate(RR), and secondary endpoints were safety, progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS).RESULTS: Combination of weekly docetaxel and FDR gemcitabine was well tolerated: the most common treatment-related adverse events were anemia(97%), fatigue(64%) and neutropenia(55%).One patient with multiple lung and lymph node metastases died of respiratory failure after receiving four cycles of chemotherapy, and the possibility of drug-induced pneumonitis could not be completely *** control(objective response plus stable disease) in the ITT population was achieved in 88% of patients, and the overall RR was 30%(95%CI: 15%-46%).The median PFS and OS were 4.0(95%CI: 3.4-4.6) and 8.8 mo(95%CI: 7.8-9.8 mo), ***: A combination of weekly docetaxel and FDR gemcitabine showed promising antitumor activity and tolerability in previously treated, metastatic esophageal SCC.

The East Asian Very Long Baseline Interferometry(VLBI) Network(EAVN) is a rapidly evolving international VLBI array that is currently promoted under joint efforts among China,Japan and *** aims at forming a joint VLBI Network by combining a large number of radio telescopes distributed over East Asian *** the combination of the Korean VLBI Network(KVN) and the VLBI Exploration of Radio Astrometry(VERA) into Ka VA,further expansion with the joint array in East Asia is actively *** we report the first imaging results(at 22 and 43 GHz) of bright radio sources obtained with Ka VA connected to Tianma 65-m and Nanshan 26-m Radio Telescopes in *** test the EAVN imaging performance for different sources,we observed four active galactic nuclei(AGN) having different brightness and *** a result,we confirmed that the Tianma 65-m Radio Telescope(TMRT) significantly enhances the overall array sensitivity,a factor of 4 improvement in baseline sensitivity and 2 in image dynamic range compared to the case of Ka VA *** addition of the Nanshan 26-m Radio Telescope(NSRT) further doubled the east-west angular *** the resulting high-dynamic-range,high-resolution images with EAVN(Ka VA+TMRT+NSRT),various fine-scale structures in our targets,such as the counter-jet in M87,a kink-like morphology of the 3 C 273 jet and the weak emission in other sources are successfully *** demonstrates the powerful capability of EAVN to study AGN jets and to achieve other science goals in *** expansion of EAVN will further enhance the angular resolution,detection sensitivity and frequency coverage of the network.
