A new treatment paradigm for hepatitis C is that the treatment must include an existing direct-acting antiviral agent, namely, a protease inhibitor(PI) combined with PEGylated interferon-a and ribavirin. The currently mar-keted PIs and PIs in clinical trials have different mecha-nisms of action. The development of new PIs aims for an improved safety profile and higher effectiveness. This article reviews NS3/4A protease inhibitors, focusing on major criteria such as their effectiveness and safety. Specific attention is paid to dosing regimens and adverse event profiles of PIs administered in clinical settings.

Serratia marcescens strain 9986 is a producer of prodigiosin used as a dye of polyolefines (polyethylene, ultratene). The biosynthesis of pigment was closely connected with controlled growth parameters. A prodigiosin yield 0.2 - 0.4 mg per l of culture medium in the batch culture under aerobic conditions was obtained. Prodigiosin was extracted from crude biomass treated by 0.1% of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). This novel elaborated stage is necessary for thermostability a dye in polymer. The consumption of prodigiosin preparation is more economical in the technology of the coloration of polyolefines. The elaborated method has been manufactured for dyeing polyethylene by biological pigment-articles of the common use corresponding to the technological standard.

At the altitude,hypoxia and training load are key factors in the development of oxidative ***-induced oxidative stress is developed due to the depletion of antioxidant *** the current study,we examined the non-enzymatic antioxidant profile of blood plasma in 7 males and 5 females specializing in speed skating at a 21-day training camp at 1850m above sea *** included:cycling,roller skating,ice skating,strength training,and special *** the start point and the endpoint,total hemoglobin mass(tHb-mass),hemoglobin concentration,and circulating blood volume were *** profiles,hypoxic doses,hypoxic impulses,and training impulses were assessed at 3,6,10,14,and 18 *** profiles consisting of“urate”and“thiol”parts were registered with *** the training dynamics,antioxidant parameters changed individually,but in total there was a decrease in the“urate”capacity by a factor of 1.6(p=0.001)and an increase in the“thiol”capacity by a factor of 1.8(p=0.013).The changes in“urate”capacity positively correlated(r_(S)=0.40)and the changes in“thiol”capacity negatively correlated(r_(S)=−0.45)with changes in *** exercise and hypoxic factors affect the antioxidant parameters *** correlated with a decrease in thiol capacity and with an increase in urate *** assessment of the non-enzymatic antioxidant profile can be a simple and useful addition to screening the reactive oxygen species homeostasis and can help choose the personalized training schedule,individualize recovery and ergogenic support.

Background Pediatric surgical practice lags behind medicine in presence and use of evidence,primarily due to time constraints of using existing tools that are not specific to pediatric surgery,lack of sufficient patient data and unstructured pediatric surgery training *** We developed,disseminated and tested the effectiveness of an evidence-based resource for pediatric surgeons and researchers that provides brief,informative summaries of quality-assessed systematic reviews and meta-analyses on conflicting pediatric surgery *** Responses of 91 actively practicing surgeons who used the resource were *** majority of participants found the resource useful(75%),improved their patient care(66.6%),and more than half(54.2%)found it useful in identifying research *** all participants reported that the resource could be used as a teaching tool(93%).Conclusion Lack of awareness of the resource is the primary barrier to its routine use,leading to potential calls for more active dissemination *** of the Canadian Association of Paediatric Surgeons Evidence-Based Resource find that the summaries are useful,identify research gaps,help mitigate multiple barriers to evidence-based medicine,and may improve patient care.

AIM:To establish a one-stage model of experimental acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP)in rats characterized by the simplicity of performance and a high degree of ***:ANP modeling in rats was performed based on modification of the ligation model as follows:synthetic material ligature using an atraumatic needle was performed to capture pancreatic gland ducts and marginal duodenum *** tips were exteriorized to the abdominal wall,and the ligature was skinned over to avoid catching intestine *** macroscopic appearance and histological changes were *** biochemical and hemostatic indicators were also ***:Laboratory analysis of rats with experimental ANP showed a pattern of disturbances similar to that observed during pancreatic necrosis in humans as soon as the first *** blood analysis revealed enhanced leukocytosis and alterations in leukogram characteristics,indicating acute *** levels of amylase,aspartate aminotransferase and creatinine significantly increased(P<0.05).Hemostatic indicators showed alterations indicating formation of disseminated intravascular coagulation,and signs of endotoxicosis were *** typical pancreatic necrosis patterns of disturbances were validated by the results of histological ***:Histological changes and laboratory indicators confirm the development of a suitable model of ANP.

The mathematical model that approximates the dynamics of the industrial process is essential for the efficient synthesis of control algorithms in industrial applications. The model of the process can be obtained according to the identification procedures in the open-loop, or in the closed-loop. In the open-loop, the identification methods are well known and offer good process approximation, which is not valid for the closed-loop identification, when the system provides the feedback output and doesn’t permit it to be identified in the open-loop. This paper offers an approach for experimental identification in the closed-loop, which supposes the approximation of the process with inertial models, with or without time delay and astatism. The coefficients are calculated based on the values of the critical transfer coefficient and period of the underdamped response of the closed-loop system with P controller, when system achieves the limit of stability. Finally, the closed-loop identification was verified by the computer simulation and the obtained results demonstrated, that the identification procedure in the closed-loop offers good results in process of estimation of the model of the process.
