Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive cancers with a high mortality rate even among patients with early-stage *** recent studies with novel therapeutic approaches have led to modest improvement in survival outcomes,limited progress is achieved for the use of immunotherapeutics in this challenging *** checkpoint inhibitors,thus far,single-agent or in combination,have not yielded significant improvement in survival outcomes except in mismatch repair-deficient pancreatic *** tumor microenvironment of pancreatic cancer has been considered as an attractive target for over a decade based on preclinical studies that suggested it may adversely affect drug delivery and antitumor *** this review article,we elaborate on the biology of pancreatic cancer microenvironment,its highly complicated interaction with cancer cells,and the immune *** also discuss plausible explanations that led to the failure of immune checkpoint inhibitors as therapeutic agents and the potential impacts of pancreatic cancer stroma on these negative studies.

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation （TAV1） represents a real revolution in the field of interventional cardiology for the treatment of elderly or high-risk surgical patients with severe symptomatic aortic valve stenosis. Today, TAVI seems to play a key and a reliable role in the treatment of intermediate and maybe low-risk patients with severe aortic stenosis. TAVI has also evolved from a complex and hazardous procedure into an effective and safe therapy by the development of new generation devices. This article aims to review the background and future of TAVI, elinieal trials and registries with old and new generation TAVI devices and to focus on some open issues related to post-procedural outcomes.

The cationic ring-opening polymerization of 1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]octane, commonly called conidine （1） was studied with some chiral tricyclic amino acid esters （6a-6f） as acylation agents to obtain optically active biopolymers （Sa-8f） of the different masses. The structures of the new compounds were confirmed by FT-IR, UV and NMR, and the distribution index of the molecular weights of the polymers was determined from SEC measurements.

Nowadays,using biopolymer as a ground improvement method has become very ***,since biopolymers are organic and degradable,their long-term effect is not fully *** this study,the effects of biopolymers on the mechanical behavior of kaolin clay were investigated through a comprehensive program of *** types of biopolymer,*** gum and guar gum were chosen to investigate the effect of biopolymer *** this purpose,specimens were prepared using standard Proctor energy at four different water contents(25%,30%35%and 40%)with 0.5%,1%,1.5%and 2%biopolymer *** specimens were cured for 1 d,7 d,28 d and 90 ***,some of the specimens were kept in the curing room for 3 years to observe the long-term effect of the *** the end of the curing periods,the specimens were subjected to unconfined compression test,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis was performed to observe the mechanism of strength *** results revealed that the unconfined compressive strength(UCS)of the specimens treated with biopolymers increased in all biopolymer inclusion levels and water contents up to a 90-d curing *** specimens containing xanthan gum,the maximum strength increase was observed at 25%water content and 2%xanthan gum with 90-d *** strength increased 5.23 times induced by xanthan gum addition when compared to the pure ***,the increase in strength reached 8.53 times in specimens treated with guar ***,increasing water content caused more ductile behavior,thus increasing the axial deformation.

AIM:To examine the mechanism of the development of pseudoexfoliation (PSX) syndrome via both cytokine formation and endothelial vasorelaxing and growth factors that will provide us new therapeutic insights for the treatment. METHODS:This is a cross sectional study included two groups; Group 1:control patients with nuclear cataract(n =20, aged 51-80 years). Group 2:PSX patients with nuclear cataract (n=18, aged 50-90 years). Patients with other ophthalmic problems and systemic diseases were excluded. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and nitrotyrosine levels were determined through serum samples by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method. Nitrite-nitrate levels were measured with photometric endpoint determination. RESULTS:There were no significant differences between the groups in terms of age, VEGF, IL-1β, nitrite-nitrate and nitrotyrosine. The significant results were the mean IL-6 levels that were higher in PSX group 2 (37.68± 29.52 pg/mL) compared to that in control group 1 (15.32± 10.08 pg/mL) (P <0.001). CONCLUSION:Several interacting and extending biochemical pathways may lead to the promotion of VEGF and IL-6 expressions. IL-6 which is the only altered marker in our study may indirectly cause an increase of vascular permeability and neovascularization. We suggest inflammation as a factor that can be involved in etiopathogenesis of PSX.

Metal doped CdS nanoparticles were synthesized by a simple chemical precipitation route with different metals. The obtained nanoparticles were characterized by XRD and UV-vis reflectance spectroscopy. The results indicated that metal-doped CdS catalysts were successfully obtained with cubic structure and 4.0 - 4.5 nm crystallite size. The band gap energies of metal-doped CdS catalysts were estimated using UV-visible reflectance spectra to be about the range of 2.25 - 2.55 eV. Methylene blue was degraded by using metal doped CdS nanoparticles under a 400 W medium-pressure mercury lamp of visible light irradiation (λ > 420 nm). Higher degradation efficiency was achieved by adding metals to the photocatalyst compared with the single CdS catalyst. In this case, the degradation efficiency of Co-CdS catalyst after 4h irradiation time was about 87%.

在金融部门,由于技术的发展,出现了显著的变化。其中最引人注目的就是移动支付平台,它已经成为中国日常生活中不可或缺的一部分,83%的支付都是通过这些平台进行的。目前中国移动支付平台上的“不走寻常路,走寻常路”的立场,让人对中国如何取得如此成功产生了诸多疑问。因此,在文献中有很多研究来检验移动支付的成功。因此,社会学因素、公司的决策和互联网的广泛使用是这一成功的原因之一。然而,尽管中国领先的移动支付平台,支付宝和微信支付,拥有94%的市场份额,属于私营企业,中国政府在这一成功中的作用是不可否认的事实。从这个角度出发,本文探讨了中国政府在这一成功过程中扮演的角色,以及中国政府是如何通过其法规、政策和工具将一个行业推向世界前列的,以及推动这一行业发展的原因。为了分析中国政府在这一成功中的作用,首先,讨论了政府在移动支付领域作为监管者、推动者和协调者的作用,以及与此相关的政府政策。此外,鉴于移动支付在经济中的重要性,为了说明中国政府支持移动支付的主要原因,本文分析了中国政府支持移动支付的主要原因,如增加消费、提供金融包容、支持农村发展以及为政府的其他目标做出贡献。因此,本文的研究表明,政府支持是中国移动支付成功的关键因素之一。
