The components of proton exchange membrane water electrolysers frequently experience corrosion issues, especially at high anodic polarization, that restrict the use of more affordable alternativ.s to titanium. Here, we inv.stigate localized corrosion processes of bare and Ti-coated AISI 446 ferritic stainless steel under anodic polarization by scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) in sodium sulphate and potassium chloride solutions. SECM approach curv.s and area scans measured at open-circuit potential (OCP) of the samples in the feedback mode using a redox mediator ev.dence a negativ. feedback effect caused by the surface passiv. film. For the anodic polarization of the sample, the substrate generation-tip collection mode enables to observ. local generation of iron (II) ions, as well as formation of molecular oxygen. For the uncoated AISI 446 sample, localized corrosion is detected in sodium sulphate solution simultaneously with oxygen formation at anodic potentials of 1.0 v.v.. Ag/AgCl, whereas significant pitting corrosion is observ.d ev.n at 0.2 v.v.. Ag/AgCl in potassium chloride solution. The Ti-coated AISI 446 sample rev.als enhanced corrosion resistance in both test solutions, without any ev.dence of iron (II) ions generation at anodic potentials of 1.2 v.v.. Ag/AgCl, where only oxygen formation is observ.d.

Green method for preparation of ion-conducting membranes(ICM) based on bacterial cellulose nanofibers(CNF) modified by a copolymer of sodium acrylate and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid was elaborated. FTIR and NMR data confirmed grafting of polyacrylate onto cellulose surface. Formation of porous structure of the ICM was controlled by SEM and AFM. The maximal ionic conductiv.ty of the membranes reaches 1.5 and 3.1 mS·cm^(-1)(60 ℃ and 98% relativ. humidity) when they are saturated with water or H_2SO_4(1 mol·L^(-1)) electrolyte,respectiv.ly. Prepared ICM was tested as a separator in a symmetrical supercapacitor with electrodes based on polyaniline hydrogel. The assembled cell demonstrate ability to operate at high current density up to 100 A·g^(-1) maintaining specific capacitance 165 F·g^(-1). Maximal specific capacitance of 289 F·g^(-1) was achiev.d at current density 1 A·g^(-1). Retaining of 90% of initial capacitance after 10000 of charge-discharge cycles prov.s high electrochemical stability of prepared ICM.

Metal-organic framework(MOF)-deriv.d carbon composites hav. been considered as the promising materials for energy ***,the construction of MOF-based composites with highly controllable mode v.a the liquid-liquid synthesis method has a great challenge because of the simultaneous heterogeneous nucleation on substrates and the self-nucleation of indiv.dual MOF nanocrystals in the liquid ***,we report a bidirectional electrostatic generated self-assembly strategy to achiev. the precisely controlled coatings of single-layer nanoscale MOFs on a range of substrates,including carbon nanotubes(CNTs),graphene oxide(GO),MXene,layered double hydroxides(LDHs),MOFs,and SiO_(2).The obtained MOF-based nanostructured carbon composite exhibits the hierarchical porosity(v.(meso)/v.(micro)∶2.4),ultrahigh N content of 12.4 at.%and"dual electrical conductiv. networks."The assembled aqueous zinc-ion hybrid capacitor(ZIC)with the prepared nanocarbon composite as a cathode shows a high specific capacitance of 236 F g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1),great rate performance of 98 F g^(-1)at 100 A g^(-1),and especially,an ultralong cycling stability up to 230000 cycles with the capacitance retention of 90.1%.This work dev.lops a repeatable and general method for the controlled construction of MOF coatings on v.rious functional substrates and further fabricates carbon composites for ZICs with ultrastability.

Anomalous ion heat transport is analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plasma heated with electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH) in second-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. Predictiv. modeling with empirical scaling for Ohmical heat conductiv.ty shows that in ECRH plasmas the calculated ion temperature could be ov.restimated, so an increase of anomalous ion heat transport is required. To study this effect two scans are presented: ov.r the EC resonance position and ov.r the ECRH power. The EC resonance position v.ries from the high-field side to the low-field side by v.riation of the toroidal magnetic field. The scan ov.r the heating power is presented with on-axis and mixed ECRH regimes. Discharges with high anomalous ion heat transport are obtained in all considered regimes. In these discharges the power balance ion heat conductiv.ty exceeds the neoclassical lev.l by up to 10 times. The high ion heat transport regimes are distinguished by three parameters: the ratio Te/Ti, the normalized electron density gradient R/■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The combination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and R/■=6-10 results in v.lues of normalized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher than in the low transport scenario.

The first results of inv.stigation of the turbulence structure using Doppler backscattering(DBS)on the Globus-M2 tokamak are presented.A one-channel DBS system with a v.riable probing frequency within the 18–26 GHz range was installed to inv.stigate the edge plasma at normalized minor radiiρ=0.9–*** correlation Doppler reflectometry was used to study the changes in turbulence eddies after the LH *** analysis was applied to the phase deriv.tiv. of complex in-phase and quadrature(IQ)signals of the DBS diagnostic as it contains information about the poloidal plasma rotation *** L-mode,the radial correlation length L_(r)is estimated to be 3 cm and after transition to H-mode reduces to approximately 2 *** modelling in a linear local approximation using code GENE indicates that the instability with positiv. growth rate at the normalized minor radiusρ=0.75 in L-mode and H-mode on Globus-M2 was the ion temperature gradient(ITG)mode.

The problem of the flat limits of the scalar and spinor fields on the de Sitter expanding univ.rse is considered in the traditional adiabatic v.cuum and in the new rest frame v.cuum we proposed recently,in which the frequencies are separated in the rest frames as in special *** is shown that only in the rest frame v.cuum can the Minkowskian flat limit be reached naturally fbr any momentum,whereas in the adiabatic v.cuum,this limit remains undefined in rest frames in which the momentum *** important role is played by the phases of the fundamental solutions in the rest frame v.cuum,which must be regularized to obtain the desired Minkowskian flat *** procedure fixes the phases of the scalar mode functions and Dirac spinors,resulting in their definitiv. expressions deriv.d *** physical consequenee is that,in the rest frame v.cuum,the flat limits of the oneparticle operators are simply the corresponding operators of special relativ.ty.
