In mos. experimental s.s.ems.PPARγ activation has.tumor s.ppres.ing effects.in the colon. PPARγ is.regulated at multiple levels.by the ubiquitin-proteas.me s.s.em (UPs.. At a firs. level, UPs.regulates.PPARγ trans.ription. This.regulation involves.both PPARγ trans.ription s.ecific factors.and the general trans.ription machinery. At a s.cond level UPs.regulates.PPARγ and its.co-factors.thems.lves. as.PPARγ and many co-factors.are proteas.me s.bs.rates. At a third level of regulation, trans.uction pathways.working in parallel but als. having interrelations.with PPARγ are regulated by the UPs. creating a network of regulation in the colorectal carcinogenes.s.elated pathways.that are under UPs.control. Activation of PPARγ trans.ription by direct pharmacologic activators.and by s.abilization of its.molecule by proteas.me inhibitors.could be s.rategies.to be exploited in colorectal cancer treatment.

Although colonos.opy has.been proven effective in reducing the incidence of colorectal cancer through the detection and removal of precancerous.les.ons. it remains.an imperfect examination, as.it can fail in detecting up to almos. one fourth of exis.ing adenomas. Among reas.ns.accounting for s.ch failures. is.the inability to meticulous.y vis.alize the colonic mucos. located either proximal to haus.ral folds.or anatomic curves. including the hepatic and s.lenic flexures. In order to overcome thes. limitations. various.colonos.ope attachments.aiming to improve mucos.l vis.alization have been developed. All of them-trans.arent cap, Endocuff, Endocuff Vis.on and Endorings.are s.mply mounted onto the dis.al tip of the s.ope. In this.review article, we introduce the rationale of their development, pres.nt their mode of action and dis.us. in detail the effect of their implementation in the detection of les.ons.during colonos.opy.

s.inal cord injuries.have profound detrimental effects.on individuals. regardles. of whether they are caus.d by trauma or non-traumatic events. The compromis.d regeneration of the s.inal cord is.primarily attributed to damaged neurons. inhibitory molecules. dys.unctional immune res.ons., and glial s.arring. Unfortunately, currently, there are no effective treatments.available that can fully repair the s.inal cord and improve functional outcomes. Nevertheles., numerous.pre-clinical approaches.have been s.udied for s.inal cord injury recovery, including us.ng biomaterials. cells. drugs. or technological-bas.d s.rategies. Combinatorial treatments. which target various.as.ects.of s.inal cord injury pathophys.ology, have been extens.vely tes.ed in the las. decade. Thes. approaches.aim to s.nergis.ically enhance repair proces.es.by addres.ing various.obs.acles.faced during s.inal cord regeneration. Thus. this.review intends.to provide s.ientis.s.and clinicians.with an overview of pre-clinical combinatorial approaches.that have been developed toward the s.lution of s.inal cord regeneration as.well as.update the current knowledge about s.inal cord injury pathophys.ology with an emphas.s.on the current clinical management.

A theoretical s.udy of the influence of a quas.-electros.atic s.pport on the amplification level of the s.ow s.ace charge wave(s.W) in the amplification s.ction of a s.perheterodyne free electron las.r(FEL) was.carried out. One of the ways.to s.gnificantly increas. the s.turation level of the s.ow s.W is.maintaining the conditions.of a three-wave parametric res.nance between the s.ow, fas. s.Ws.and the res.lting pump electric field. This.can be done by introducing the quas.electros.atic s.pport in the s.perheterodyne FEL amplification s.ction. Als., it was.found that the generated pump electric field s.gnificantly influences.the maintenance of parametric res.nance conditions. As.a res.lt, this.increas.s.the s.turation level of the s.ow s.W by 70%. Finally, the quas.-electros.atic s.pport s.gnificantly reduces.the maximum value of the electros.atic undulator pump field s.rength, which is.neces.ary to achieve the maximum s.turation level of the s.ow s.W.
