In order to solve the contradiction between the rapidly growing energy demand and the excessive exploitation of fossil fuels,it is urgent to research and develops more environmentally friendly and efficient energy storage ***,the development of high-performance cathode materials to enhance the energy density of sIB is currently one of the most important topics of scientific *** high-voltage and low-cost cathode material for sIBs,a composite of carbon-coated Na_(4)MnCr(PO_(4))_(3)(NAsICON-type),polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP),and modified carbon nanotubes(CNTs)is prepared by sol-gel and freeze-drying *** to the high conductivity of CNTs,the conductivity of the composite is significantly improved,and its initial capacity is increased to 114 mAh/g at 0.5 C and 96 mAh/g at 5 C(Mn^(2+)/Mn^(4+)conversion for voltage windows 1.4-4.3 V).Moreover,the multi-electrons transfer of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(4+) and Mn^(2+)/Mn^(4+) can provide a high capacity of 165 mAh/g at 0.1 C and 102 mAh/g at 5 C in the high voltage window of 1.4-4.6 ***,PVP can effectively inhibit the Jahn-Teller effect caused by Mn ion,making the composite have more excellent high-rate performance and *** addition,GITT,EIs and CV curves were drawn to better reveal the excellent kinetic properties of Na_(4)MnCr(PO_(4))_(3)@C@PVP@CNT cathode,and the mechanism of its performance improvement is deeply studied and ***,the co-doping of CNTs and PVP is a simple way to high conductivity and fast charging of cathode materials for sIBs.

Metagenomic studies of various soil environments have previously revealed the widespread distribution of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)around the *** this study,we applied shotgun metagenomics to investigate differences in microbial communities and resistomes in Chernozem soils that have been under long-term organic and conventional cropping *** organic cropping system was seeded with Triticum spelta without any *** conventional cropping system was seeded with Tríticum durum Desf and used mineral fertilizer(NPK),that resulted in an increased amount of total and available carbon and nitrogen in *** all samples,we identified a total of 21 ARG classes,among which the dominant were vancomycin,tetracycline and *** of soil microbial communities revealed differences between the studied fields in the relative abundances of 14 and 53 genera in topsoil and subsoil,*** analysis showed significant correlations(positive and negative)among 18 genera and 6 ARGs,as well as between these ARGs and some chemical properties of *** analysis of metagenome-assembled genomes revealed that Nitrospirota,Thermoproteota,Actinobacteriota and Binatota phyla of archaea and bacteria serve as hosts for glycopeptide and fluoroquinolone/tetracycline ***,the data obtained enrich knowledge about the consequences of human agricultural activities in terms of soil microbiome modification and highlight the role of nitrogen cycling taxa,including uncultivated genera,in the formation of soil resistome.

To explore highly active and thermomechanical stable air electrodes for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells(ITsOFCs),10mol%Ta5+doped in the B site of strontium ferrite perovskite oxide(srTa_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3-δ),sTF)is investigated and *** effects of Ta^(5+)doping on structure,transition metal reduction,oxygen nonstoichiometry,thermal expansion,and electrical performance are evaluated *** 10mol%Ta^(5+)doping,the thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)decreased from 34.1×10^(-6)(srFeO_(3-δ))to 14.6×10^(-6) K^(-1)(sTF),which is near the TEC of electrolyte(13.3×10^(-6) K^(-1) for sm_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)O_(1.9),sDC),indicates excellent thermomechanical *** 550-750℃,sTF shows superior oxygen vacancy concentrations(0.262 to 0.331),which is critical in the oxygen-reduction reaction(ORR).Oxygen temperature-programmed desorption(O_(2)-TPD)indicated the thermal reduction onset temperature of iron ion is around 420℃,which matched well with the inflection points on the thermos-gravimetric analysis and electrical conductivity *** 600℃,the sTF electrode shows area-specific resistance(AsR)of 0.152Ω·cm^(2) and peak power density(PPD)of 749 mW·cm^(-2).ORR activity of sTF was further improved by introducing 30wt%sm_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)O_(1.9)(sDC)powder,sTF+sDC composite cathode achieving outstanding AsR value of 0.115Ω·cm2 at 600℃,even comparable with benchmark cobalt-containing cathode,Ba_(0.5)sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-δ)(BsCF).Distribution of relaxation time(DRT)analysis revealed that the oxygen surface exchange and bulk diffusion were improved by forming a composite *** 650℃,sTF+sDC composite cathode achieving an outstanding PPD of 1117 mW·cm^(-2).The excellent results suggest that sTF and sTF+sDC are promising air electrodes for IT-sOFCs.

To promote charge transfer and separation for efficient photocatalysis,a direct Z-scheme heterostructure was constructed by coupling polymeric carbon nitride(PCN) and WO_(3).Interestingly,the obtained PCN/WO_(3)Z-scheme heterostructure could photocataly tic ally produce hydrogen and value-added chemicals(e.g.,formate and acetate) by reforming of plastic polylactic acid(PLA) in alkaline aqueous *** optimizing WO_(3) contents and reaction conditions,the obtained PCN/WO_(3)heterostructure exhibits much increased photocatalytic activity for PLA photoreforming under visible light,with hydrogen evolution rate reaching 402.90 μmol·g~(-1)·h~(-1),which is 3.5 times that of *** is revealed that the Z-scheme charge transfer between PCN and WO_(3) mainly contributes to the promoted charge separation and thus the improved photocatalytic ***,with h+and·OH experimentally evidenced as the predominant active species,a possible reaction pathway for the reforming of PLA into value-added chemicals(e.g.,formate and acetate)over PCN/WO_(3) Z-scheme heterostructure is cleared by monitoring the reaction intermediates and *** work paves a carbon neutrality and scalable route toward the synergistical production of hydrogen and value-added chemicals by utilizing and recycling plastic waste.

Genetic Variability and Phenotypic Correlations study among Grain Quality Traits and Mineral Elements Concentrations in Colored and Non-Colored Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

Twenty-four rice genotypes were examined to assess genetic variability,heritability,and correlations for seven-grain quality traits,eight nutritional elements,and *** revealed signiﬁcant differences for the quality traits *** every trait under study,the phenotypic coefﬁcient of variation was higher than the correspon-dence genotypic coefﬁcient of *** in a broad sense varied from 29.75%for grain length to 98.31%for the elongation *** percentage recovery had a highly signiﬁcant positive correlation with milling and head rice ***,milling percentage had a highly positive correlation with head rice *** amylose percentage,all the genotypes belonged to low amylose except the Hassawi-1 variety,which had intermediate amylose *** nutrition contents of magnesium(Mg),sodium(Na),potas-sium(K),calcium(Ca),copper(Cu),manganese(Mn),zinc(Zn),iron(Fe),or protein percentage gave different variations for 24 rice genotypes under all the nutritional *** the 24 genotypes,ten rice genotypes–HighNutrient-1,HighNutrient-2,HighNutrient-9,HighNutrient-8,HighNutrient-3,Hassawi-2,HighNutrient-7,HighNutrient-6,Hassawi-1,and HighNutrient-4–had the highest heist value for all nutritional and protein con-tents,and could be used as a donor to improving new *** was a positive and signiﬁcant correlation between magnesium Mg,K,Zn and ***,K had a positive correlation with zinc Zn,Fe,and protein *** analysis was divided into two groups:theﬁrst group included all genotypes rich in nutri-ents,while the remaining genotypes with low nutritional content were included in the second group.

Like every other societal domain,science faces yet another reckoning caused by a bot called ChatGPT(Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer).ChatGPT was introduced in November 2022 to produce messages that seem like they were written by humans and are *** the release of the latest version of ChatGPT called GPT-4,and other similar models such as Google Bard,Chatsonic,Collosal Chat,these chatbots combine several(about 175 billion)neural networks pre-trained on large Language Models(LLMs),allowing them to respond to user promptings just like ***-4 for example can admit its mistakes and confront false assumptions thanks to the dialogue style,which also enables it to write essays and to keep track of the context of a discussion while it is ***,users may be deceived by the human-like text structure of the AI models to believe that it came from a human origin[1].These chatbot models could be better,even though they generate text with a high level of ***,they produce inappropriate or wrong responses,resulting in faulty inferences or ethical *** article will discuss some fundamental strengths and weaknesses of this Artificial intelligence(AI)system concerning scientific research.

U. s. Academic Medical Centers Under the Managed Health Care Environment

This research investigates the impact of managed health care on academic medical centers in the United states. Academic medical centers hold a unique position in the U. s. health care system through their missions of conducting cutting-edge biomedical researeh, pursuing clinical and technological innovations, Providing state-of-the-art medical care and producing highly qUalified health professionals. However, policies to control costs through the use of managed care and limiting resources are detrimental to academic medical centers and impede the advancement of medical sciTo survive the threats of managed care in the health care environment, acadendc medical centers must rely on their upper level managers to derive successful strategies. The methods used in this study include qualitative approaches in the form of key informants and case studies. In addition, a survey questionnaire was sent to 1h8 CEOs in all the academic medical centers in the U. s. The findings revealed that managers who perform the liaison, monitor, entrepreneur and resource allocator roles are crucial to ensure the survival of academic medical centers, so that academic medical centers can continue their missions to serve the general public and promote their well-being.

strong evidence has accumulated to show a correlation between depression symptoms and inflammatory ***,anti-inflammatory treatment has shown partial effectiveness in alleviating depression *** barbarum polysaccharide(LBP),derived from Goji berries,exhibits notable antioxidative and anti-inflammatory *** our recent double-blinded randomized placebo-controlled trial,we found that LBP significantly reduced depressive symptoms in adolescents with subthreshold *** is presumed that the antidepressant effect of LBP may be associated with its influence on inflammatory *** the double-blinded randomized controlled trial,we enrolled 29 adolescents with subthreshold depression and randomly divided them into an LBP group and a placebo *** the LBP group,adolescents were given 300 mg/d LBP.A 6-week follow up was completed by 24 adolescents,comprising 14 adolescents from the LBP group(15.36±2.06 years,3 men and 11 women)and 10 adolescents from the placebo group(14.9±1.6 years,2 men and 8 women).Our results showed that after 6 weeks of treatment,the interleukin-17A level in the LBP group was lower than that in the placebo *** analysis showed that LBP reduced the correlations and connectivity between inflammatory factors,which were associated with the improvement in depressive *** findings suggest that 6-week administration of LBP suppresses the immune response by reducing interleukin-17A level,thereby exerting an antidepressant effect.

sorghum[sorghum bicolor(L.)Moench]can benefit from accelerated breeding and release of improved varieties through doubled haploid *** technology has been used in speeding up the breeding of other major cereals such as wheat,maize and rice,for which generally widely applied optimised protocols exist.A reproducible protocol for the crop,that can overcome genotype dependency and other species-specific challenges such as phenolic exudation is however *** study aimed at sorghum doubled haploids production thereby contributing to the development of an improved *** the 28 hybrid genotypes,both F1 registered-and experimental hybrids involved,this study successfully produced haploids from five genotypes and subsequently,four confirmed doubled-haploid lines on W14mf medium or its modification with 1.0 gl^(-1)L-proline,1.0 gl^(-1)L-asparagine and 1.0 gl^(-1)KH_(2)PO_(4).Medium 190-2Cu was used for regeneration and rooting,which occurred successfully,if the calli were transferred on to it less than 7 days after induction,and temperature was maintained at 25°C under light *** dependency was not wholly overcome;however,sorghum’s high tillering ability and abiotic stress tolerance were observed to contribute to attainment of haploid *** diploids producing seeds at rates of upto 80.5%were obtained,therefore eliminating the need for colchicine duplication.

Effect of solidification cooling rate on microstructure and tribology characteristics of Zn-4si alloy

The main objective of this work was to modify the microstructure and enhance the tribological properties of a new Zn-4si al-loy through a high solidification cooling rate(sCR).According to the results,by increasing the sCR from 2.0 to 59.5℃/s the average size of primary si particles and that of the grains reduced from 76.1 and 3780μm to less than about 14.6 and 460μm,***-ing the sCR also enhanced the microstructural homogeneity,decreased the porosity content(by 50%),and increased the matrix hardness(by 36%).These microstructural changes enhanced the tribological *** instance,under the applied pressure of 0.5 MPa,an in-crease in the sCR from 2.0 to 59.5℃/s decreased the wear rate and the average friction coefficient of the alloy by 57%and 23%,*** wear mechanism was also changed from the severe delamination,adhesion,and abrasion in the slowly-cooled alloy to the mild tribolayer delamination/abrasion in the high-cooling-rate-solidified sample.
