Recent developments in Computer Vision have presented novel opportunities to tackle complex healthcare issues,particularly in the field of lung disease *** promising avenue involves the use of chest X-Rays,which are commonly utilized in *** fully exploit their potential,researchers have suggested utilizing deep learning methods to construct computer-aided diagnostic ***,constructing and compressing these systems presents a significant challenge,as it relies heavily on the expertise of data *** tackle this issue,we propose an automated approach that utilizes an evolutionary algorithm(EA)to optimize the design and compression of a convolutional neural network(CNN)for X-Ray image *** approach accurately classifies radiography images and detects potential chest abnormalities and infections,including ***,our approach incorporates transfer learning,where a pre-trainedCNNmodel on a vast dataset of chest X-Ray images is fine-tuned for the specific task of detecting *** method can help reduce the amount of labeled data required for the task and enhance the overall performance of the *** have validated our method via a series of experiments against state-of-the-art architectures.

AIM:To investigate hepatitis C virus(HCV) seroprevalence in Tunisian patients with diabetes mellitus and in a control ***:A cross-sectional study was conducted to determine the HCV seroprevalence in 1269 patients with diabetes(452 male,817 female) and 1315 nondiabetic patients,attending health centers in Sousse,*** screening was performed in both groups using a fourth-generation enzyme ***:In the diabetic group,17(1.3%) were found to be HCV-infected compared with eight(0.6%) in the control group,although the difference was not significant(P=0.057).Quantitative PCR was performed in 20 *** patients were positive and showed HCV genotype 1b in all ***:Frequency of HCV antibodies was low in patients with diabetes and in the control group in central Tunisia,with no signifi cant difference between the groups.

In the paper,we propose a fuzzy logic controller system to be implemented for smart mobility management in the 5G wireless communication *** management is considered as a main issue for all-IP mobile networks future *** a network-based mobility management protocol,Internet Engineering Task Force developed the Proxy Mobile IPv6(PMIPv6)in order to support the mobility of IP devices,and many other results were presented to reduce latency handover and the amount of PMIPv6 signaling,but it is not enough for the application needs in *** present paper describes an approach based on the IEEE 802.21 Media Independent Handover(MIH)standard and PMIPv6,so we present a new vertical handover algorithm for anticipating handover process *** object is to propose a smart mobility management that contribute in 5G wireless communication system network operating *** proposed dynamic thresholds were successfully made to guaranty process triggering,and a new primitive MIH is proposed for signaling a needed handover to be *** results demonstrate a significant reduction of the handover delay,packet loss,handover blocking probability and signaling *** results and tests are accomplished.

A new model is proposed in this paper on color edge detection that uses the second derivative operators and data fusion *** secondorder neighborhood shows the connection between the current pixel and the surroundings of this *** connection is for each RGB component color of the input *** the image edges are detected for the three primary colors:red,green,and blue,these colors are merged using the combination ***,the final decision is applied to obtain the *** process allows different data sources to be combined,which is essential to improve the image information quality and have an optimal image ***,the segmentation results of the proposed model are ***,the classification accuracy of the tested data is assessed,and a comparison with other current models is *** comparison results show that the proposed model outperforms the existing models in image segmentation.

Recently,Opportunistic Networks(OppNets)are considered to be one of the most attractive developments of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks that have arisen thanks to the development of intelligent *** are characterized by a rough and dynamic topology as well as unpredictable contacts and contact *** is forwarded and stored in intermediate nodes until the next opportunity ***,achieving a high delivery ratio in OppNets is a challenging *** is imperative that any routing protocol use network resources,as far as they are available,in order to achieve higher network *** this article,we introduce the Resource-Aware Routing(ReAR)protocol which dynamically controls the buffer usage with the aim of balancing the load in resource-constrained,stateless and non-social *** ReAR protocol invokes our recently introduced mutual informationbased weighting approach to estimate the impact of the buffer size on the network performance and ultimately to regulate the buffer consumption in real *** proposed routing protocol is proofed conceptually and simulated using the Opportunistic Network Environment *** show that the ReAR protocol outperforms a set of well-known routing protocols such as EBR,Epidemic MaxProp,energy-aware Spray and Wait and energy-aware PRoPHETin terms of message delivery ratio and overhead ratio.

The extra-large scale multiple-input multiple-output(XL-MIMO)for the beyond fifth/sixth generation mobile communications is a promising technology to provide Tbps data transmission and stable access ***,the extremely large antenna array aperture arouses the channel near-field effect,resulting in the deteriorated data rate and other challenges in the practice communication ***,multi-panel MIMO technology has attracted extensive attention due to its flexible configuration,low hardware cost,and wider *** combining the XL-MIMO and multi-panel array structure,we construct multi-panel XL-MIMO and apply it to massive Internet of Things(IoT)***,we model the multi-panel XL-MIMO-based near-field channels for massive IoT access scenarios,where the electromagnetic waves corresponding to different panels have different angles of arrival/departure(AoAs/AoDs).Then,by exploiting the sparsity of the near-field massive IoT access channels,we formulate a compressed sensing based joint active user detection(AUD)and channel estimation(CE)problem which is solved by AMP-EM-MMV *** simulation results exhibit the superiority of the AMP-EM-MMV based joint AUD and CE scheme over the baseline algorithms.

Sparsity modulation is a promising technology for the sixth generation(6G)of communication networks,which satisfies the high requirements in terms of spectral efficiency(SE)and energy efficiency(EE).Currently,many representative sparsity modulation schemes,such as spatial modulation,index modulation,media-based modulation,reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)-based/reflecting modulation,and subcarrier number modulation,have attracted the attention of the wireless research *** from conventional amplitude-phase modulation schemes,sparsity modulation employs one or more modulation dimension(s)in addition to the conventional amplitude-phase constellation,so as to form higher-dimensional modulation schemes,which considerably enhance the SE at a reduced implementation complexity under proper system *** is worth noting that the modulation dimensions in current sparsity modulation schemes are not fully explored due to limited resources.

Massive machine-type communications(mMTC)is envisioned to be one of the pivotal scenarios in the fifth-generation(5G)wireless communication,where the explosively emerging Internet-of-Things(IoT)applications have triggered the demand for services with low-latency and *** this end,grant-free random access paradigm has been proposed as a promising enabler in simplifying the connection procedure and significantly reducing access *** this paper,we propose to leverage the burgeoning reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)for grant-free massive access working at millimeter-wave(mmWave)frequency to further boost access *** attaching independently controllable phase shifts,reconfiguring,and refracting the propagation of incident electromagnetic waves,the deployed RISs could provide additional diversity gain and enhance the access channel *** this basis,to address the challenging active device detection(ADD)and channel estimation(CE)problem,we develop a joint-ADDCE(JADDCE)method by resorting to the existing approximate message passing(AMP)algorithm with expectation maximization(EM)to extract the structured common sparsity in traffic behaviors and cascaded channel ***,simulations are carried out to demonstrate the superiority of our proposed scheme.

Autoimmune hepatitis(AIH) has rarely been described as an autoimmune paraneoplastic syndrome of *** case is the seventh case of AIH revealed by cholestasis few years after the diagnosis of thymoma and the first case treated with chemotherapy *** report in this paper a new approach to this rare severe condition.A 29 year-old man presented with chest pain and dyspnea with a history of thymoma surgically removed 4 years *** scan showed the recurrence of an anterior mediastinal *** showed elevated liver enzymes and profound *** sign of viral or toxic hepatitis or bile duct abnormalities were *** antibodies,except for the anti-nuclear antibody,were *** biopsy showed active chronic *** patient was diagnosed with recurrent thymoma with AIH and underwent 6 cycles of chemotherapy.A complete response on thymoma and cholestasis was obtained after 10 months of *** and immunosuppressors are the standard treatment for *** effect of chemotherapy as a specific treatment of this paraneoplastic syndrome needs to be considered.
