The transition to reproductive development is a key step in the lifecycle of a plant and requires fine-tuning of gene expression through the concerted action of several transcription factors(TFs).While most TFs bind naked DNA(without nucleosomes)in a sequence-specific manner,in mammals a special group with key roles in cell fate reprogramming,named pioneer TFs,can bind nucleosome-occupied *** Arabidopsis,LEAFY(LFY)promotes floral fate through activation of floral homeotic genes(Parcy et al.,1998),some of which are targeted by the Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 and localize to closed chromatin ***,LFY has been proposed to act as a pioneer TF,but whether/how it can bind occluded DNA remained unknown.

Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)represent an important tool in veterinary regenerative medicine due to their ability to home to injury sites and secrete molecules that regulate niches into regenerative *** cell therapy depends on many factors,including choice of administration route and application of understanding of cell potency and their therapeutic *** this point of view,the authors leverage the tumultuous history of the field to demonstrate the need for clinicians to continually update themselves as new discoveries are made in order to avoid misalignments in the future,especially regarding administration routes and dose frequency,as well as to explore recent insights into MSC plasticity,therapeutic mechanisms,and cell delivery systems.

Endoscopic ultrasound tissue acquisition,in the form of both fine needle aspiration(EUS-FNA)and fine needle biopsy(EUS-FNB),is utilized for pancreatic mass lesions,subepithelial lesions,and lymph node *** procedures are safe and yield high diagnostic *** its high diagnostic yield,EUS-FNA has potential limitations associated with cytological aspirations,including inability to determine histologic architecture,and a small quantitative sample for further immunohistochemical ***-FNB,with its larger core biopsy needle,was designed to overcome these potential ***,it remains unclear which technique should be used and for which *** trials are plagued by heterogeneity at every stage of comparison;including variable needles used,and different definitions of endpoints,which therefore limit ***,we present a review of prospective trials,systematic reviews,and meta-analyses on studies examining EUS-FNA vs *** comparative trials of EUS-FNA vs EUS-FNB primarily focus on pancreatic mass lesions,and yield conflicting results in terms of demonstrating the superiority of one ***,consistent among trials is the potential for diagnosis with fewer passes,and a larger quantity of sample achieved for next generation *** regard to subepithelial lesions and lymph node biopsy,fewer prospective trials exist,and larger prospective studies are *** on the available literature,we would recommend EUS-FNB for peri-hepatic lymph nodes.

When human remains are examined,three questions always need to be answered:who is the deceased,what was the cause of death,and when did the death occur,the former question being the most *** identification of half or fully skeletonized human remains is a complex process and always requires the use of methods that allow individualization beyond any reasonable ***,no matter how vigorous the search for identification,this is not always ***,the author presents two cases in which identification was exhaustively attempted but not achieved despite the existence of an osteo implanted device in one case and the presence of documents in the *** one case,we could not find a potential identity for the deceased,while in the other we found a possible identity but not a family member to provide antemortem data to confirm *** the scientific literature tends to favour the publication of cases with favourable outcomes,one should also learn from failures,which is the reason why the author decided to publish his unsuccessful *** reasons for the failures are discussed,as well as methodological improvements for future cases.

Introduction Gastrointestinal diseases and care in the USA account for a significant amount of healthcare resources and spending,recently totaling>$119 billion dollars annually[1].In addition to ambulatory sites and clinics,a substantial portion of gastrointestinal care occurs through the emergency department(ED).Though the overall rate of ED visits in the USA has remained stable over the past 10 years[2],the number of visits for gastrointestinal complaints has been increasing[1,3],contributing to rising healthcare costs.

The study evaluated the effect of sodium chloride (1.5%), sodium erythorbate (0.5% and 1.0%) and ascorbic acid (0.1% and 0.2%) on inhibiting lipid oxidation in mechanically deboned chicken meat (MDCM). The peroxide, acidity, pH, color and odor values of the samples were determined on the 1st, 3rd and 5th days. Treatments with sodium erythorbate and ascorbic acid had significant influence (p ≤ 0.05) on the peroxide, acidity and pH values. Ascorbic acid and erythorbate sodium were especially effective in reducing lipid oxidation in mechanically deboned chicken meat.

Federated learning has been explored as a promising solution for training machine learning models at the network edge,without sharing private user *** limited resources at the edge,new solutions must be developed to leverage the software and hardware resources as the existing solutions did not focus on resource management for network edge,specially for federated *** this paper,we describe the recent work on resource manage-ment at the edge and explore the challenges and future directions to allow the execution of federated learning at the *** such as the discovery of resources,deployment,load balancing,migration,and energy effi-ciency are discussed in the paper.
