The fertility of human-altered soils,Anthrosols,developed from past settlement activities for crop production is scarcely *** study evaluated the fertility of Anthrosols developed from the 15th to mid-20th century AD settlement in Old Buipe,Savanna region,Ghana,to determine whether abandoned localities are suitable for arable *** activities enhanced the physical attributes of the Anthrosols:brown to dark brown intergrain fine soil,15%−35%organic matter,15%−30%potsherd,and 5%−15%charred *** Anthrosols were slightly acidic to neutral reactions(pH_([H_(2)O])5.67−6.83,pH_([cacl_(2)])5.83−6.95),high cation exchange capacity(CEC;18.77−45.31me/100 g),electric conductivity(EC=0.28−0.36 dS m^(−1)),accumulation,and distribution of organic C,total N,P,Mn,Cu,Zn,K,and Fe,and available P,K,ca,Mg,S,Mn,Fe,Cu,and ***-available nutrients were comparatively higher than concentrations in non-anthropogenic *** level of releasability(bioavailable fractions of total concentrations)of P,K,ca,Mn,Fe,Cu,and Zn partly compensates for low plant-available *** of chemical and physical properties of Anthrosols make them fertile for arable *** signatures of settlement activities are strong and can remain in soils for a long time,even under harsh environmental conditions.

Ferredoxin-NADP＋ oxidoreductase （FNR）, functioning in the last step of the photosynthetic electron transfer chain, exists both as a soluble protein in the chloroplast stroma and tightly attached to chloroplast membranes. Surface plasmon resonance assays showed that the two FNR isoforms, LFNR1 and LFNR2, are bound to the thylakoid membrane via the C-termina. domains of Tic62 and troL proteins in a pH-dependent manner. The tic62 trol double mutants contained a reduced level of FNR, exclusively found in the soluble stroma. Although the mutant plants showed no visual phenotype or defects in the function of photosystems under any conditions studied, a low ratio of NADPH/NADP~ was detected. Since the CO2 fixation capacity did not differ between the tic62 trol plants and wild-type, it seems that the plants are able to funnel reducing power to most crucial reactions to ensure survival and fitness of the plants. However, the activity of malate dehydrogenase was down-regulated in the mutant plants. Apparently, the plastid metabolism is able to cope with substantial changes in directing the electrons from the light reactions to stromal metabolism and thus only few differences are visible in steady-state metabolite pool sizes of the tic62 trol plants.

Introduction: Hepatic diseases comprise inflammations of the liver, which can origina.e from drug-induced, toxic, autoimmune sources and particularly hepatitis B and C virus infection. The outcome of the disease is linked to interactions between the immune system and the virus, and also depends on the age and immune status of the patient. The aim of this study was to evaluate the association of a MAP3K14 (rs2074292), CD40 (rs1883832) polymorphism and chronic hepatitis B virus carriage in a population from Burkina.Faso. Methods: In this case-control analysis, 223 and 173 samples, consisting of 90 and 53 controls and 133 and 120 cases, were examined for MAP3K14 and CD40 respectively. The cases included patients with Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB), cirrhosis or hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Genomic DNA extraction was executed using INVItroGEN and FAVORGEN kits. Genotyping of MAP3K14 (rs2074292) and CD40 (rs1883832) gene polymorphisms was accomplished via real-time PCR on the QuantStudioTM 5 Real-Time instrument, followed by allelic discrimina.ion using TaqMan Genotyper Software. Data was interpreted using SPSS version 20 and Epi info version 7.***.2.0. Odds ratios (OR), confidence intervals (CI), and p-values were derived for risk and significance evaluation. Results: This study showed that the heterozygous CT genotype and the mutated T allele of the CD40 (rs1883832) gene are involved in the progression of chronic hepatitis to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma in HBV-infected patients. However, no association was found between polymorphisms in the MAP3K14 gene (rs2074292) and the progression of HBV infection. By combining the two polymorphisms, we observed either high risk or protection, depending on the genotypes of the MAP3K14 and CD40 genes simultaneously carried by the patient. Conclusion: Polymorphisms of the MAP3K14 and CD40 genes are associated with the evolution of HBV infection.

目的　探讨联合检测血清多项肿瘤标志物对肺癌的诊断价值。方法　应用酶联免疫法 (ELISA )检测 86例肺癌、3 0名良性肺病患者和 3 0例健康人的血清CEA、ca12 5、ca 19-9和ca15-3水平。结果　 4项指标在不同组织类型肺癌中均有不同程度升高且明显高于良性肺病组和健康对照组 (P ca12 5、ca19-9和ca15-3单检 (总 )的阳性率分别为 41.9%、3 7.2 %、48.9%和 3 6% ,联检 (总 )的阳性率为 94.2 %。结论　 4项指标对不同组织类型肺癌均有一定的诊断价值。

目的　探讨脂肪肝患者多项血清肝纤维化指标和总胆汁酸联合检测及其临床意义。方法　用放免法和速率散射比浊法测定 2 8例正常人和 4 3例脂肪肝患者的血清透明质酸 (HA)、Ⅲ型前胶原 (PCⅢ )、Ⅳ型胶原 (Ⅳ C)、层粘蛋白 (LN)和总胆汁酸 (TBA)。结果　HA、PCⅢ、Ⅳ C、LN和TBA随脂肪肝患者肝纤维化程度而增高 (P <0 .0 1～ 0 .0 5 ) ,HA和TAB指标的变化与γ球蛋白、A/G显著相关 (P <0 .0 5 )。结论　测定血清HA、PCⅢ、Ⅳ C、LN和TBA水平对脂肪肝有一定的诊断和判断预后价值 ,其中。
