Owing to the 4.0 industrial revolution condition monitoring maintenance is widely accepted as a useful approach to avoiding plant disturbances and ***,Motor Current Signature Analysis(MCSA)is widely reported as a condition monitoring technique in the detection and identification of individual andmultiple Induction Motor(IM)***,checking the fault detection and classification with deep learning models and its comparison among them selves or conventional approaches is rarely reported in the ***,in this work,wepresent the detection and identification of induction motor faults with MCSA and three Deep Learning(DL)models namely MLP,LSTM,and ***,we have developed the model of Squirrel Cage induction motor in MATLAB and simulated it for single phasing and stator winding faults(SWF)using Fast Fourier Transform(FFT),Short Time Fourier Transform(STFT),and Continuous Wavelet Transform(CWT)to detect and identify the healthy and unhealthy conditions with phase to ground,single phasing and in multiple fault conditions using Motor Current Signature *** faults impact on stator current is presented in the time and frequency domain(i.e.,power spectrum).The simulation results show that the scalogram has shown good results in time-frequency analysis for fault and showing its impact on the energy of current during individual fault and multiple fault *** is further investigated with three deep learning models(i.e.,MLP,LSTM,and 1D-CNN)for checking the fault detection and identification(i.e.,classification)improvement in a three-phase induction *** simulating the three-phase induction motor in various healthy and unhealthy conditions in MATLAB,we have collected current signature data in the time domain,labeled them accordingly and created the 50 thousand samples dataset for DL *** the DL models are trained and validated with a suitable number of architecture *** simulation,the multiclass confusion

Sodium Alginate/Carboxyl-Functionalized Graphene Composite Hydrogel Via Neodymium Ions Coordination

A facile method for the preparation of sodium alginate（SA）/carboxyl-functionalized graphene（G-COOH）composite hydrogel was developed. Based on the coordination ability of lanthanide ions to the carboxyl groups, a series of hydrogel derived from different ratios of SA and G-COOH was fabricated by neodymium（Nd3＋） ions coordination. A relatively uniform layered structure was recorded by SEM at the interior of SA/G-COOH hydrogel. Several parameters such as water content, swelling ratio（SR）, tensile test and solvent resistance were also investigated. The SA/G-COOH composite hydrogel showed excellent mechanical strength, and the tensile strength of SA/G-COOH composite hydrogel reaches 53.72 MPa at high water content. Due to the coordination ability of Nd3＋ ions, the hydrogel also exhibited an excellent solvent resistance and stability.

It is necessary to know the status of adhesion conditions between wheel and rail for efficient accelerating and decelerating of railroad *** proper estimation of adhesion conditions and their real-time implementation is considered a challenge for *** this paper,the development of simulation model of extended Kalman filter(EKF)in MATLAB/Simulink is presented to estimate various railway wheelset parameters in different contact conditions of *** to concurrent in nature,the Xilinx®System-on-Chip Zynq Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)device is chosen to check the onboard estimation ofwheel-rail interaction parameters by using the National Instruments(NI)myRIO®development *** NImyRIO®development board is flexible to deal with nonlinearities,uncertain changes,and fastchanging dynamics in real-time occurring in wheel-rail contact conditions during vehicle *** simulated dataset of the railway nonlinear wheelsetmodel is tested on FPGA-based EKF with different track conditions and with accelerating and decelerating operations of the *** proposed model-based estimation of railway wheelset parameters is synthesized on FPGA and its simulation is carried out for functional verification on *** obtained simulation results are aligned with the simulation results obtained through *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first time study that presents the implementation of a model-based estimation of railway wheelset parameters on FPGA and its functional *** functional behavior of the FPGA-based estimator shows that these results are the addition of current knowledge in the field of the railway.

Derailment of trains is not unusual all around the world,especially in developing countries,due to unidentified track or rolling stock faults that cause massive casualties each *** this purpose,a proper condition monitoring system is essential to avoid accidents and heavy ***,the detection and classification of railway track surface faults in real-time requires massive computational processing and memory resources and is prone to a noisy ***,in this paper,we present the development of a novel embedded system prototype for condition monitoring of railway *** proposed prototype system works in real-time by acquiring railway track surface images and performing two tasks a)detect deformation(i.e.,faults)like squats,shelling,and spalling using the contour feature algorithm and b)the vibration signature on that faulty spot by synchronizing acceleration and image data.A new illumination scheme is also proposed to avoid the sunlight reflection that badly affects the image acquisition *** contour detection algorithm is applied here to detect the uneven shapes and discontinuities in the geometrical structure of the railway track surface,which ultimately detects unhealthy *** works by converting Red,Green,and Blue(RGB)images into binary images,which distinguishes the unhealthy regions by making them white color while the healthy regions in black *** have used the multiprocessing technique to overcome the massive processing and memory *** embedded system is developed on Raspberry Pi by interfacing a vision camera,an accelerometer,a proximity sensor,and a Global Positioning System(GPS)sensors(i.e.,multi-sensors).The developed embedded system prototype is tested in real-time onsite by installing it on a Railway Inspection Trolley(RIT),which runs at an average speed of 15 km/*** functional verification of the proposed system is done successfully by detecting and recording the various railway track surface faul

A Novel Method Based on UNET for Bearing Fault Diagnosis

Reliability of rotating machines is highly dependent on the smooth rolling of ***,it is very essential for reliable operation of rotating machines to monitor the working condition of bearings using suitable fault diagnosis and condition monitoring *** the recent past,Deep Learning(DL)has become applicable in condition monitoring of rotating machines owing to its *** paper proposes a novel bearing fault diagnosis method based on the processing and analysis of the vibration *** proposed method is the UNET model that is a recent development in DL *** model is applied to the 2D vibration images obtained by transforming normalized amplitudes of the time-series vibration data samples into the corresponding vibration *** UNET model performs pixel-level feature learning using the vibration images owing to its unique *** results demonstrate that the model can perform dense predictions without any loss of label information,generally caused by the sliding window labelling *** comparative analysis with other DL models confirmed the superiority of the UNET model which has achieved maximum accuracy of 98.91%and F1-Score of 99%.

EU＇s Association Agreements ＆ Central America： No Milk Until the Cows Come Home

Why did the European Union （EU） conclude an Association Agreement （A.A）, rather than a free-trade agreement with Central American （CA） countries in 2010？ A CA-EU AA content analysis within the broader EU policy approach towards Latin America suggests it to be （1） the only feasible option for each side at a time of increasing commercial flux; （2） mutually attractive against globalizing threats, thus converting an institutional innovation into a double-edged instrument; and （3） illustrative of the subtle but significant shift of farm-protection demands from endogenous dynamics to exogenous. They carry important implications：（1） empirically： weak CA-EU linkages further dilute West Europe＇s broader Latin ambitions; （2） theoretically： AA analyses better reflect trading realities than pure regional economic integration theories, suggesting the corrosive impact of globalizing forces on regional pursuits; and （3） historically： the continued role of the farm jinx in trade.

获得清洁干净的饮用水对所有生命形式的生存至关重要。然而,受污染的水源对全球人民的健康构成严重威胁。我们对饮用水水质的管理和监测仍存在不足,因此,研究探索饮用水水质至关重要。相对于其他地方而言,大都市面临着一系列特殊的挑战,其中之一就是饮用水的水质问题。卡拉奇是巴基斯坦人口最多的大都市,长期以来一直受到该市饮用水供应水质问题的困扰。本论文调查了卡拉奇苏尔坦纳巴德居民使用的饮用水源中的物理化学、微生物和重金属参数,包括温度、p H值、硬度、总溶解固体（TDS）、浑浊度、硝酸盐、氯化物、碳酸氢盐（HCO3）、硫酸盐（SO4）、钙（Ca）、钾（K）、钠（Na）、砷（As）、铅（Pb）、锌（Zn）、铁（Fe）、总大肠菌群及大肠杆菌等。我们在卡拉奇和广州开展了一项公众对饮用水认知的调查研究,希望能够借此了解公众对这一问题的认识。这项研究检测了在卡拉奇苏丹巴德自来水和瓶装饮用水样品,其检测结果为饮用水样品的p H范围为6.81～7.63,平均值为7.31±0.04,饮用水样本的Ca CO3值为740.0～52.0 mg/L,总硬度为279.0±21.78 mg/L。饮用水样本中TDS水平为30.40～66257.0mg/L,平均为1315.87±235.57 mg/L。饮用水样品的平均浊度为0.67±0.07 NTU,范围为0.30～2.05 NTU。饮用水样品中的硝酸盐含量为0～32.0 mg/L,平均为3.95±1.16 mg/L。饮用水样品的氯离子值为1168.6～0.50 mg/L。饮用水样品中的（As）值为0～23.46 ug/L,平均为3.62±1.01 ug/L。Pb水平为0～1.23 ug/L,平均为0.28±0.04 ug/L。在本研究中,平均锌水平为0.15±0.02 mg/L,范围为0～0.34 mg/L。大肠杆菌总数和大肠杆菌含量分别为0～2000.0和0.12 CFU。除总大肠菌群、大肠杆菌、总溶解固体、氯化物和硫酸盐外,平均值符合《全国卫生公约》和世卫组织（2021年）的标准。此外,所有理化和微生物参数的水质指数（WQI）表明,除#4、#5、#6、#7、#8、#9和瓶装饮用水的水质指数为87.41、118.94、51.98、94.14、103.75、148.82和瓶装饮用水的水质指数为6.08～10.63外,大部分水源的水质指数（WQI>150）不适合饮用。对此,我们还对卡拉奇苏丹纳巴德饮用水进行健康风险评估的分析。本研究的调查结果显示,卡拉奇受访者良好行为意识、积极态度分别为23.1%和7.40%,而广州分别为46.20%和30%。另外,我们还发现公众对其政府水污染事故信息的信任程度。卡拉奇与广州公众对水污染事故新闻报道的关注率分别为76.0%和70.8%,对政府报道的信任度分别为39.7%和79.3%。基于受访者的社会人口学参数（性别、年龄、家庭成员、家庭月收入、受教育程度等）,公众认可的饮用水水质p值均<0.05,这表明所获得的结果差异显著。
