this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Galerkin Finite Element Study on the Effects of Variable thermal Conductivity and Variable Mass Diffusion Conductance on Heat and Mass transfer

this article investigates the effects of variable thermal conductivity and variable mass diffusion coefficient on the transport of heat and mass in the flow of Casson fluid. Numerical simulations for two-dimensional flow induced by stretching surface are performed by using Galerkin finite element method(GFEM) with linear shape functions. After assembly process, nonlinear algebraic equations are linearized through Picard method and resulting linear system is solved iteratively using Gauss Seidal method with simulation tolerance 10^(-8). Maximum value of independent variableη is searched through numerical experiments. Grid independent study was carried out and error analysis is *** results are validated by comparing with already published results. Parametric study is carried out to explore the physics of the flow. the concentration increases when mass diffusion coefficient is increased. the concentration and thermal boundary layer thicknesses increase when ?_1 and ? are increased. the effect of generative chemical reaction on concentration is opposite to the effect of destructive chemical reaction on the concentration.

Evaluation of soil loss severity and ecological restoration approach for sustainable agriculture in the Hindu Kush, Karakoram and Himalaya region

Soil erosion has resulted in removal of the topsoils containing fine soil particles and plant nutrients, causing decrease in soil fertility in the Hindu Kush, Karakoram and Himalaya(HKH) region. the existing production of cereal crop grains has been reduced to one third of the potential crop grains production owing to land degradation and poor farming practices. It is necessary to assess risk of soil loss and identify appropriate controlling measures to address issues of low agriculture productivity and water insecurity in the region. In the present study, severity of soil loss was predicted using Revised Universal Loss Equation(RUSLE) and ecological measures were identified for sustainable mountain agriculture in the HKH region of Upper Indus Basin, Pakistan. Overall 62.6% area was found to have very low risk of soil loss, i.e., t/(ha·yr), 15.8% area low risk, i.e., 5-25 t/(ha·yr) and 7.5% area moderate risk, i.e., 25-50 t/(ha·yr) in the region. the risk was high, i.e., 50-100 t/(ha·yr) and very high, i.e., >100 t/(ha·yr) in about 6.8% and 7.4% areas respectively. the mean rate of soil loss was about 41.9 t/(ha·yr) in the Hindu Kush, 31.1 t/(ha·yr) in the Himalayas, 18.8 t/(ha·yr) in the Karakoram and overall 29.7 t/(ha·yr) in the three HKH ranges. As such no considerable measures have been adopted by the communities for restoration of the degraded areas except raising fruit/farm trees and supporting limited social forestry for their livelihoods. the slopes cleared for cultivation and susceptible to erosion may be stabilized through sowing/planting of multi-purpose plant species and formation of proper bench terraces. the conservation of forest ecosystem and pastures at higher elevations would help in reducing overland water flow, risk of flash flood hazard and minimizing sediment loads in the downstream. Education sector has witnessed several changes in the recent *** changes have forced private universities into fierce competition with each other to get more students *** competition has resulted in the adoption of marketing practices by private universities similar to commercial *** get competitive gain,universities must observe and examine the students’feedback on their own social media sites along with the social media sites of their *** study presents a novel framework which integrates numerous analytical approaches including statistical analysis,sentiment analysis,and text mining to accomplish a competitive analysis of social media sites of the *** techniques enable local universities to utilize social media for the identification of the most-discussed topics by students as well as based on the most unfavorable comments received,major areas for improvement.A comprehensive case study was conducted utilizing the proposed framework for competitive analysis of few top ranked international universities as well as local private universities in Lahore *** results show that diversity of shared content,frequency of posts,and schedule of updates,are the key areas for improvement for the local *** on the competitive intelligence gained several recommendations are included in this paper that would enable local universities generally and Riphah international university(RIU)Lahore specifically to promote their brand and increase their attractiveness for potential students using social media and launch successful marketing campaigns targeting a large number of audiences at significantly reduced cost resulting in an increased number of enrolments.

Prediction of promiscuous t cell epitopes in RNA dependent RNA polymerase of Chikungunya virus

Objective: to explore RNA dependent RNA polymerase of Chikungunya virus(CHIKV) and develop t cell based epitopes with high antigenicity and good binding affinity for the human leukocyte antigen(HLA) classes as targets for epitopes based CHIKV vaccine. Methods: In this study we downloaded 371 non-structural protein 4 protein sequences of CHIKV belonging to different regions of the world from the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases(NIAID) virus pathogen resource database. All the sequences were aligned by using CLUStALW software and a consensus sequence was developed by using Uni Pro U Gene Software version 1.2.1. PropredⅠand Propred software were used to predict HLAⅠ and HLAⅡ binding promiscuous epitopes from the consensus sequence of non-structural protein 4 protein. the predicted epitopes were analyzed to determine their antigenicity through Vaxijen server version 2.0. All the HLAⅠ binding epitopes were scanned to determine their immunogenic potential through the Immune Epitope Database(IEDB). All the predicted epitopes of our study were fed to IEDB database to determine whether they had been tested earlier. Results: twenty two HLA class Ⅱ epitopes and eight HLA classⅠepitopes were predicted. the promiscuous epitopes WMNMEVKII at position 486–494 and VRRLNAVLL at 331–339 were found to bind with 37 and 36 of the 51 HLA class Ⅱ alleles respectively. Epitope MANRSRYQS at position 58–66 and epitopes YQSRKVENM at positions 64–72 were predicted to bind with 12 and 9 HLAⅠI alleles with antigenicity scores of 0.754 9 and 1.013 0 respectively. Epitope YSPPINVRL was predicted to bind 18 HLAⅠ alleles and its antigenicity score was 1.425 9 and immunogenicity score was 0.173 83. this epitope is very useful in the preparation of a universal vaccine against CHIKV infection. Conclusions: Epitopes reported in this study showed promiscuity, antigenicity as well as good binding affinity for the HLA classes. these epitopes will provide the baseline for development

Prime Mover Capacity Optimization and thermodynamic Performance Analysis of Internal Combustion Engine Based CCHP System

In this research,a solar hybrid combined cooling heating and power(CCHP)system is proposed considering the different scenarios of Prime Movers(PMs)and the part-load performance of PMs is validated by the designed values from the manufacturer of ***,a multi-optimization model based on a genetic algorithm is developed in order to select both the most promising performance PM and the most cost-effectiveness,environmentally friendly number of collectors for the proposed CCHP system,*** the hourly performance of this solar hybrid CCHP is determined through a case study of a hotel in *** show that the highest efficiency of the PM with larger capacity has the most promising performance and the collector number of 90 turns out to be a superior value for the hotel building based on the primary energy saving ratio of 61.61%.Moreover,on a typical summer day,the recovered waste heat and the solar energy can provide all the thermal energy demands,while,an auxiliary boiler should be started to fulfill the energy gap in both typical transition and winter *** the simulation result,the CO_(2) emissions can be reduced by 856.2 t/a due to the solar energy introduced into the ***,the dynamic investment payback period will change from 3.01 years to 3.56 years when the fuel price(P_(fuel))ranges from 0.8P_(fuel) to1.2P_(fuel).

Rational synthesis of carbon shell coated polyaniline/ MoS2 monolayer composites for high-performance supercapacitors

Conducting polymers generally show high specific capacitance but suffer from poor rate capability and rapid capacitance decary which greatly limits their practical applications in supercapacitor electrodes. to this end, many studies have focused on improving the overall capacitive performance by synthesizing nanostructured conducting polymers or by depositing a range of coatings to increase the active surface area exposed to the electrolyte and enhance the charge transport efficiency and structural stability. Despite this, simultaneously achieving high specific capacitance, good rate performance, and long cycle life remains a considerable challenge. Among the various two-dimensional （2D） layered materials, octahedral （1t） phase molybdenum disulfide （MoS2） nano- sheets have high electrical conductivity, large specific surface areas, and unique surface chemical characteristics, making them an interesting substrate for the controlled growth of nanostructured conducting polymers. this paper reports the rational synthesis of carbon shell-coated polyaniline （PANI） grown on 1t MoS2 monolayers （MoS2/PANI@C）. the composite electrode comprised of MoS2/ PANI@C with a -3 nm carbon shell exhibited a remarkable specific capacitance of up to 678 F-g-1 （1 mV.s-1）, superior capacity retention of 80% after 10,000 cycles and good rate performance （81% at 10 mV.s-1） due to the multiple synergic effects between the PANI nanostructure and 1t MoS2 substrates as well as protection by the uniform thin carbon shell. these properties are comparable to the best overall capacitive performance achieved for conducting polymers-based supercapacitor electrodes reported thus far.
