We investigate the behavior of geometric global quantum discord （GGQD） and concurrence （C） between half- spins of a mixed-three-spin （1/2, 1, 1/2） system with the Ising-XY model for which spins （1, 1/2） have the Ising interaction and half-spins （1/2, 1/2） have both XY and the Dzyaloshinskii Moriya interactions together, under the decoherence action. A single-ion anisotropy property with coefficient ζ is assumed for the spin-integer. This system which includes an analytical Hamiltonian is considered at the front of an external homogeneous magnetic field B in thermal equilibrium. Finally, we compare GGQD and C and express some interesting phase flip reactions of the total quantum correlation and pairwise entanglement between spins （1/2, 1/2）. Generally, we conclude that the concurrence and GGQD have different behaviors under the phase flip channel.

We initially introduce one-dimensional mixed-five-spin chain with Ising-XY model which includes mixture of spins-1/2 and spins-1. Here, it is considered that nearest spins（1, 1/2） have Ising-type interaction and nearest spins（1/2, 1/2）have both XY-type and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya（DM） interactions together. Nearest spins（1, 1） have X X Heisenberg interaction. This system is in the vicinity of an external homogeneous magnetic field B in thermal equilibrium state. We promote the quantum information transmitting protocol verified for a normal spin chain with simple model（refer to Rossini D, Giovannetti V and Fazio R 2007 Int. J. Quantum Infor. 5 439）（widely in reference： Giovannetti V and Fazio R 2005 Phys. Rev. A 71 032314） by means of considering the suggested mixed-five-spin chain as a quantum communication channel for transmitting both qubits and qutrits ideally. Hence, we investigate some useful quantities such as quantum capacity and quantum information transmission rate for the system. Finally, we conclude that, when the DM interaction between spins（1/2, 1/2） increases the system is a more ideal channel for transmitting information.

We analytically investigate Multiple Quantum(MQ) NMR dynamics in a mixed-three-spin(1/2,1,1/2)system with XXX Heisenberg model at the front of an external homogeneous magnetic field B. A single-ion anisotropy property ζ is considered for the spin-1. The intensities dependence of MQ NMR coherences on their orders(zeroth and second orders) for two pairs of spins(1,1/2) and(1/2,1/2) of the favorite tripartite system are obtained. It is also investigated dynamics of the pairwise quantum entanglement for the bipartite(sub)systems(1,1/2) and(1/2,1/2)permanently coupled by, respectively, coupling constants J_1 and J_2, by means of concurrence and fidelity. Then, some straightforward comparisons are done between these quantities and the intensities of MQ NMR coherences and ultimately some interesting results are reported. We also show that the time evolution of MQ coherences based on the reduced density matrix of the pair spins(1,1/2) is closely connected with the dynamics of the pairwise entanglement. Finally, we prove that one can introduce MQ coherence of the zeroth order corresponds to the pair spins(1,1/2) as an entanglement witness at some special time intervals.

TiO2 nanorod layers are synthesized by simple chemical oxidation of Ti substrates. Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy measurements show effective light scattering properties originating from nanorods with length scales on the order of one micron. The films are sensitized with CdSe quantum dots （QDs） by successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction （SILAR） and integrated as a photoanode in quantum dot sensitized solar cells （QDSCs）. Incorporating nanorods in photoanode structures provided 4- to 8-fold enhancement in light scattering, which leads to a high power conversion efficiency, 3.03% （Voc = 497 mV, Jsc = 11.32 mA/cm2, FF = 0.54）, in optimized structures. High efficiency can he obtained just by tuning the photoanode structure without further treatments, which will make this system a promising nanostructure for efficient quantum dot sensitized solar cells.

Magnetic and thermodynamic properties of the anisotropic XYZ spin-1/2 finite chain under both homogeneous and inhomogeneous magnetic fields are theoretically studied at low temperature. Using exact diagonalization method(ED), we study the magnetization, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat of the model characterized in terms of the finite correlation length in the presence of three different magnetic fields including longitudinal, transverse, and transverse staggered magnetic fields. The magnetization, susceptibility, and the specific heat of the model are investigated under two conditions separately:(i) When the model is putted in the presence of homogeneous magnetic fields.(ii) When finite inhomogeneities are considered for all applied magnetic fields in the Hamiltonian. We show that for thefinite-size XYZ chains at low temperature, the evident magnetization plateaus gradually convert to their counterpart quasi-plateaus when the transverse magnetic field increases. Moreover, the influence of the transverse and staggered transverse magnetic fields, and their corresponding inhomogeneities on the magnetization process, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat are reported in detail. Our exact results illustrate that by altering the inhomogeneity parameters,magnetization plateaus gradually convert to their counterpart quasi-plateaus. The specific heat manifests Schottky-type maximum, double-peak, and triple-peak, as well as, transformation between them by varying considered inhomogeneity parameters in the Hamiltonian.

Improvement the texture of nitrite-free fermented sausages using microencapsulation of fermenting bacteria

This study aims to amend nitrite-free fermented sausage texture already produced in our laboratory using microencapsulation of fermenting probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum PTCC1896 and Lactobacillus fermentum PTCC1744 (CNF treatment) and taking place physical, chemical, and microbial analyzes in comparison with cooked fermented sausages containing 120 ppm nitrite and aforementioned microencapsulated bacteria (CN treatment) and uncooked fermented sausages containing 120 ppm sodium nitrite and free bacteria (N treatment). Different percentages of sodium alginate, inulin and maltodextrin were used to evaluate the viability of bacteria. Combination of sodium alginate 1%, inulin 3% and maltodextrin 3% (w/v each) for L. plantarum PTCC1896 and sodium alginate 1%, inulin 5%, and maltodextrin 10% (w/v each) for L. fermentum PTCC1744 showed the most protective effects. The results of colorimetry showed that the mentioned bacteria could produce the desired red color of the sausage. The moisture content of cooked samples was significantly different from N treatment (p < 0.05). The pH of all treatments was within the desired range of microbial stability. The texture and microbial evaluation results showed that cooked treatments have better texture properties and lower microbial load during storage (p < 0.05). Considering the effects of cooking on the texture of sausage, the appropriate survival of microencapsulated bacteria and comparing the analyzes of the three treatments, the absence of nitrite and replacing it with the mentioned bacteria had no adverse effects and brought desirable results. Therefore, it is possible to produce nitrite-free probiotic fermented sausage with suitable organoleptic properties by cooking fermented sausage.

Traditional techniques for treatment of waste rubber, such as burning, generate some highly non- degradable synthetic materials that cause unrepairable environmental damages by releasing heavy metals, such as arsenic, chromium, lead, manganese and nickel. For this, scrap tires are used as light- weight alternative materials in many engineering applications, such as retaining wall backfilling. In the present study, 90 laboratory models were prepared to evaluate the stability of mechanically stabilized earth （MSE） walls with plate anchors. Then, the bearing capacity and horizontal displacements of the retaining walls were monitored by exerting a static loading to investigate the effects of adding different contents （5 wt%, 10 wt%, 15 wt% and 20 wt%） of recycled crumb rubber （RCR） to the fill of a mechanically stabilized retaining wall with plate anchors. To visualize the critical slip surface of the wall, the particle image velocimetry （PIV） technique was employed. Results showed that the circular anchor plates almost continually provided a higher bearing capacity and wall stability than the square plates. Moreover, the backfill with 15 wt% RCR provided the maximum bearing capacity of the wall. Increasing the weight percentage of RCR to 20 wt% resulted in a significant reduction in horizontal displacement of the wall, which occurred due to the decrease in lateral earth pressure against the whole walls. An increase in RCR content resulted in the decrease in the formation of failure wedge and the expansion of the wall slip surface, and the failure wedge did not form in the sand mixtures with 15 wt% and 20 wt% RCRs.
