Differential quadrature method is employed by numerous researchers due to its numerical accuracy and computational efficiency,and is mentioned as potential alternative of conventional numerical *** this paper,a differential quadrature based numerical scheme is developed for solving volterra partial integro-differential equation of second order having a weakly singular *** scheme uses cubic trigonometric B-spline functions to determine the weighting coefficients in the differential quadrature approximation of the second order spatial *** advantage of this approximation is that it reduces the problem to a first order time dependent integro-differential equation(IDE).The proposed scheme is obtained in the form of an algebraic system by reducing the time dependent IDE through unconditionally stable Euler backward method as time *** scheme is validated using a homogeneous and two nonhomogeneous test *** of the system matrix and numerical convergence of the method are analyzed for spatial and temporal domain discretization *** of results of the present approach with Sinc collocation method and quasi-wavelet method are also made.

This article studies the development of two numerical techniques for solving convection-diffusion type partial integro-differential equation(PIDE)with a weakly singular *** trigonometric B-spline(CTBS)functions are used for interpolation in both *** first method is CTBS based collocation method which reduces the PIDE to an algebraic tridiagonal system of linear *** other method is CTBS based differential quadrature method which converts the PIDE to a system of ODEs by computing spatial derivatives as weighted sum of function *** efficient tridiagonal solver is used for the solution of the linear system obtained in the first method as well as for determination of weighting coefficients in the second *** explicit scheme is employed as time integrator to solve the system of ODEs obtained in the second *** methods are tested with three nonhomogeneous problems for their ***,computational efficiency and numerical convergence of the methods are *** of errors in approximations produced by the present methods versus different values of discretization parameters and convection-diffusion coefficients are *** and diffusion dominant cases are discussed in terms of Peclet *** results are also compared with cubic B-spline collocation method.

Smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 are transforming traditional manufacturing processes by utilizing innovative technologies such as the artificial intelligence(AI)and internet of things(IoT)to enhance efficiency,reduce costs,and ensure product *** light of the recent advancement of Industry 4.0,identifying defects has become important for ensuring the quality of products during the manufacturing *** this research,we present an ensemble methodology for accurately classifying hot rolled steel surface defects by combining the strengths of four pre-trained convolutional neural network(CNN)architectures:VGG16,VGG19,Xception,and Mobile-Net V2,compensating for their individual *** evaluated our methodology on the Xsteel surface defect dataset(XSDD),which comprises seven different *** ensemble methodology integrated the predictions of individual models through two methods:model averaging and weighted *** evaluation showed that the model averaging ensemble achieved an accuracy of 98.89%,a recall of 98.92%,a precision of 99.05%,and an F1-score of 98.97%,while the weighted averaging ensemble reached an accuracy of 99.72%,a recall of 99.74%,a precision of 99.67%,and an F1-score of 99.70%.The proposed weighted averaging ensemble model outperformed the model averaging method and the individual models in detecting defects in terms of accuracy,recall,precision,and *** analysis with recent studies also showed the superior performance of our methodology.

A new class of phosphor samples,denoted as Ba_(1-x)Al_(2)Ge_(2)O_(8):xEu^(2+)(BAGO:xEu^(2+))was synthesized using a Pechini-type sol-gel technique and subsequent thermal reduction in CO *** morphology and structural characteristics of both the BAGO host lattice and the Eu^(2+)ions activated BAGO phosphors were investigated through field-emission scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometry analyses,*** BAGO host lattice has micro-sized particles and the Rietveld refinement reveals the presence of a monoclinic crystal phase,characterized by the space group I2/c(No.15).Introducing Eu^(2+)ions into Ba^(2+)sites under CO condition reduces the particle size,switching from microscale to *** the near-ultraviolet spectrum(353 nm),the BAGO:xEu^(2+)phosphors exhibit a broadband bluish-green photoluminescence(PL)emission characterized by a peak band at 492 *** phenomenon is attributed to the 4f^(6)5d^(1)→4f^(7) electronic *** BAGO:0.02Eu^(2+)phosphor shows the strongest bluish-green PL emission,and a co mprehensive description of the concentration quenching mechanism between Eu^(2+)ions is ***,the thermal stability of the optimized BAGO:0.02Eu^(2+)phosphor was investigated,and its activation energy was ***,the synthesized bluish-green BAGO:0.02Eu^(2+)phosphor holds the promise of being a novel and potential candidate for utilization in white light-emitting diode applications.

The growing need for sustainable energy solutions,driven by rising energy shortages,environmental concerns,and the depletion of conventional energy sources,has led to a significant focus on renewable *** energy,among the various renewable sources,is particularly appealing due to its abundant ***,the efficiency of commercial solar photovoltaic(PV)modules is hindered by several factors,notably their conversion efficiency,which averages around 19%.This efficiency can further decline to 10%–16%due to temperature increases during peak sunlight *** study investigates the cooling of PV modules by applying water to their front surface through Computational fluid dynamics(CFD).The study aimed to determine the optimal conditions for cooling the PV module by analyzing the interplay between water film thickness,Reynolds number,and their effects on temperature reduction and heat *** CFD analysis revealed that the most effective cooling condition occurred with a 5 mm thick water film and a Reynolds number of *** specific parameters were found to maximize the heat transfer and temperature reduction *** finding is crucial for the development of practical and efficient cooling systems for PV modules,potentially leading to improved performance and longevity of solar *** cooling fluids or advanced cooling techniques that might offer even better efficiency or practical benefits.

Separator modification is an effective approach to suppress dendrite growth to realize high-energy sodium metal batteries（SMBs） in practical applications,however,its success is mainly subject to surface ***,a separator with multifunctional layers composed of N-doped mesoporous hollow carbon spheres（HCS） as the inner layer and sodium fluoride（NaF） as the outer layer on commercial polypropylene separator（PP） is proposed（PP@HCS-NaF） to achieve stable cycling in *** the molecular level,the inner HCS layer with a high content of pyrrolic-N induces the uniform Na+flux as a potential Na+redistributor for homogenous deposition,whereas its hollow mesoporous structure offers nanoporous buffers and ion channels to regulate Na+ion distribution and uniform *** outer layer（NaF） constructs the NaF-enriched robust solid electrolyte interphase layer,significantly lowering the Na+ions diffusion *** from these merits,higher electrochemical performances are achieved with multifunctional double-layered PP@HCS-NaF separators compared with single-layered separators（***@HCS or PP@NaF） in *** Na‖Cu half-cell with PP@HCS-NaF offers stable cycling（280 cycles）with a high CE（99.6%）,and Na‖Na symmetric cells demonstrate extended lifespans for over 6000 h at 1 mA cm-2with a progressively stable overpotential of 9 ***,in Na‖NVP full-cells,the PP@HCS-NaF separator grants a stable capacity of ～81 mA h g-1after 3500 cycles at 1 C and an impressive rate capability performance(～70 mA h g-1at 15 C).

We study the Lpboundedness of singular integral operators along surfaces of revolution on product spaces. The Lpboundedness for these operators are obtained under very weak conditions on kernels. Our results are new and they improve several previously known results. Furthermore, they are natural extensions of many known results on singular integrals in the one-parameter setting and they subsume many other corresponding results on the product space setting.
