Relative and absolute stereochemistry for hyperforin has been proposed by Brondz et al. was supported and new isomer of hyperforin-perforatrin has been discovered. Relative and absolute stereochemistry for perforatrin was proposed and elucidated by using gas-chromatography mass-spectrometry with supersonic molecular beams (SMB). The possibility of the existence of ambiguities in chirality as a hypothesis for the existence, and a new understanding, of chiral substances with shifting chirality is presented.

In 2012, the first paper in the series Analytical Methods in Quality Control of Scientific Publications was published in the American Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Vol. 3, No. 6, 2012, pp. 443-447. This paper was mainly based on evidence presented in the 2011 in book Historical Overview of Chromatography and Related Techniques in Analysis of Antimalarial Drug Primaquine (editor ilia Brondz, Nova Science Publishers, Inc., ISSN 978-1-61761-944-1). The first paper in this series di- scussed issues of obvious falsification and plagiarism contained in paper published by Dongre et al., Applications of GC-EI-MS for the Identification and Investigation of Positional Isomer in Primaquine, an Antimalarial Drug. Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, Vol. 39, No. 1-2, 2005, pp. 111-116. Dongre et al. copied their publication from an original research manuscript submitted for consideration by other authors. This paper was published in the Asian Journal of Chemistry, Vol. 17, No. 3, 2005, pp. 1678-1688. Conclusive arguments against the publication of Dongre et al. were presented in the American Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Vol. 3, No. 6, 2012, pp. 443-447. Further cases of general plagiarism and incompetence relating to authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers were presented in Part II in Analytical Methods in Quality Control of Scientific Publications Part II: The Authors’, Reviewers’, Editors’ Responsibility and the Publishers’ Authority in the International Journal of Analytical Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography, Vol. 1, No. 2, 2013, pp. 81-89. The present paper will discuss the following issues: the obvious neglect of the rights of authors by some publishers and editors;how original research manuscripts are exposed to mediocre researchers, and possibly sold, by editors to these “scientists” to boost the image of these particular “scientists”;how the order of authors’ names in published articles are changed to satisfy the commercial interests of compa

The recent paper by I. Brondz (2018), “One-Step Procedure for Direct Purification of Pediocin-Like Bacteriocins and Cationic Antimicrobial Peptides from Complex Culture Medium on an Analytical, Semipreparative, and Preparative Scale. A New Type of Liquid Chromatography—Colloidal High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (CHPLC)” (International Journal of Analytical Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography, 6, 41-49, https://***/10.4236/ijamsc.2018.63004), described a new type of CHPLC. This technique allows colloidal liquids and suspensions to be chromatographed directly despite the presence in the liquids of material such as bacteria, fungi, and other soft and hard particles. The significance of this development lies in enabling the single-step cleanup and concentration of the target substance from a complex mixture of soluble molecules in the presence of insoluble particles by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The technique also allows the use of viscose liquids (as described in Brondz (2018) that are not suitable for analysis by conventional HPLC. In the previous paper, emphasis was placed on describing the applications of the techniques for the preparation of target substances such as small peptides, bacteriocins, bacitracin, and lysosome. Normally, the industrial preparation of these substances requires multistep procedures, which are time- and labor-consuming, and typically results in significant loss of target material and specific activity. In the present paper, the application of CHPLC for the isolation of alkaloids from crude raw material such as opium cake is demonstrated. In the opium cake, large amounts of hard vegetable particles and even sand corns are present together with the target alkaloids. Despite this, isolation by CHPLC of the desired compound was achieved in a single step by using a water/ethanol-based liquid. In the world of science, recognition of scientific performance is strongly correlated with publication visibility and interest generated among other researchers, which is evident by downloads and citations. A published paper’s number of downloads and citations are the best indices of its importance and are useful measures of the researchers’ performance. However, the published paper should be valuated and indexed independently, and the prestige of the journal in which it is published should not influence the value of the paper itself. By participating in and presenting at congresses and international meetings, scientists strongly increase the visibility of their results and recognition of their research;this also promotes their publications. Status in Research Gate (RG), the so-called RG Score, the Percentile, and the h-index give researchers feedback about their performance, or their place and prestige within the scientific community. RG has become an excellent tool for disseminating scientific results and connecting researchers worldwide. RG also allows researchers to present achievements other than publications (e.g., membership in recognized associations such as the American Chemist Society, a biography in Marquis Who’s Who in the World, awards received, and/or ongoing projects). This paper discusses questions regarding how the RG Score, Percentile, and h-index are calculated, whether these methods are correct, and alternative criteria. RG also lists papers with falsified results and the journals that publish them. Thus, it may be appropriate to reduce the indices for such journals, authors, and the institutions with which these authors are affiliated.

Modifiers have a broad array of influences on extraction with liquids in standard state, supercritical fluid extraction (SFE), trapping by SFE and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC). They can significantly change the qualitative and quantitative results. Quantitative and qualitative results can be influenced by different extractants and modifiers in different ways as it was shown by Brondz et al. at 2007 in “The real nature of the indole alkaloids in Cortinarius infractus: Evaluation of artifact formation through solvent extraction method development”, J. Chromatography A, 1148, 1-7. The choice of correct extractant, modifier, and trapper to the bulk mobile phase for supercritical fluids (SFs) or for liquids in subcritical or in the liquids in standard state is a challenge in any extraction procedure. This is the second paper in a sequence that describes the influence of extractants and modifiers on the performance of SFs and results of extraction with liquids in standard state and SFE. Here, attention is given to possible mistakes in qualitative and quantitative results by poor understanding of the influence of extractants, modifiers, and trappers on extraction and trapping process by a careless choice of extractant, modifier, and trapper for extraction with liquids in standard state and SFE. The SF chosen for discussion in the paper is CO2. However, similar effects can be observed with use of other SFs and fluids in subcritical and standard states. In this paper, the discussion of lipids, fatty and carboxylic acids have been chosen as target analytes for extraction, trapping and analysis. Some examples from extraction with liquids in the standard state and trapping in the supercritical state (collection) have been furnished with the wrong extractant, modifier, or trapper which is presented for illustration of inappropriate choice of extractants, modifiers, and trappers.

Despite the obvious frauds published in [1] [2] and the involvement of Editors and Editors in Chief of the journals in the publication of these fraudulent papers, the Editors in Chief of publishers have not taken any action to retract the fraudulent papers or to dismiss the corrupt editors. By this passivity, these Editors in Chief are supporting plagiarism, dissemination of fraudulent data, lies and making published information unreliable. In the present paper, we evaluate examples of bold, fraudulent publications and give the names of some Editors directly participating in concealing fraudulent publications, together with the names of Editors in Chief who also concealed and covered the facts of fraud and were reluctant to remove the fraudulent papers from circulation or to remove cheaters from editorial positions. The truth is universal and international;in contrast, the lie is individual and partisan, social, political, confessional, cultural and dirty. Knowledge is a truth that is part of the Universe. Lies are a tool of manipulation and can exist only in distinct environments that produce and support them. In this paper, we will show how artificial prefabricated analytical procedures were used to disseminate false data with the aim of substituting the truth with fraud.

A neurophysiological detector (NPD) is a hybridization of olfactory system neurons of the fish crucian carp, Carassius carassius L., with a computerized electronic device connected to a high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC). This system makes it possible to measure neurophysiological activities in the olfactory system of C. carassius L. after exposure of this fish to alarm pheromones. During and after every military conflict or war, there appears to be rapports about military crimes which were done by military and civil personal of conflicting sides. The basis of these offences is different;however the common to these is psychological and psychical background. The psychological background is an indoctrination of troopers that all what they are doing is right, well for country, nation or defends religion, or ideology. The life and property of enemy (opponent) are less worth than their oven. But most important in this indoctrination is the direct or indirect insurances about the absence of responsibility and promises about free for punishment for these actions. These aspects are well known and well-studied. The psychical background is less studied and more diverse;however in all cases the components of stress are present. The stress can be physical, psychical or toxic. The physical and psychical stress of engaged in military conflict personal is well studied, its action both during the war and as postwar syndrome have sufficient explanations. The action of intoxication especially by contaminants in medical forms, or toxins to induce the criminal behavior of military personal is nearly unstudied. The exceptions are alcohol, psychogenic substances as narcotics, LSD and special doping agents. This paper presented the evidences of additional toxic stress by contaminates in medical forms and intoxication by toxins of military personal engaged in different conflicts during last decades. The hypothesis about the influences of the additional toxic stress by medication with low quality pharmaceutical forms and some toxins on inducing the crimes generally and war crimes by military personal is launched in the paper. In this part the investigation will be concentrated on antimalarial drugs, especially on contaminated primaquine. A simple time- and labor-saving one-step procedure suitable for analytical-, semipreparative-, and preparative-scale preparation of bacteriocins and other cationic antibacterial peptides (for example as lysozyme) has been developed. Suspensions of bacterial cells, other colloidal- and fast-particle materials, and dissolved anionic molecules passed through the column;however, cationic bacteriocins were separated by chromatography. The purity of the target substance at more than 97% was achieved by the judgment of spectral, chromatographic, and antimicrobial activity. A many-fold concentration increase was achieved for bacteriocins, lysozyme, and bacitracin (a commercial antibiotic) in comparison with the starting solutions (see the text below). In the experiments, homemade cation-exchange columns have been used. The columns have been prepared by the grafting of glass fibers with a diameter of 0.2 μm. In this paper, applications of a new type of liquid chromatography—colloidal high-performance liquid chromatography (CHPLC)—were demonstrated.
