Aging behavior of Mg-3.6Y-0.5Zr and ***-0.5Zr alloys was investigated by microhardness measurement and transmission electron *** the case of Mg-Y-Zr alloy,the presence ofβ″phase,a major strength- ener,having base centered orthorhombic structure with its lattice constants of a-（β″）=0.64 nm,b-（β″）=2.22 nm, and c-（β″）=0.52 nm was *** the case of Mg-Nd-Zr alloy aged at 250℃,the presence ofβ″andβ′phases was *** crystal structure ofβ″phase was found to be DO-（19） and its orientation relationships with Mg matrix were [0001]-（β″）//[0001]-（Mg） and [01（？）0]-（β″）//[01（？）0]-（Mg）.Theβ′phase had face centered cubic structure and its orientation relationships with Mg matrix were [011]-（β′）//[0001]-（Mg） and [（？）1（？）]β′//[（？）110]）-（Mg）. The ***-0.5Zr alloy showed higher hardness compared with Mg-3.6Y-0.5Zr alloy.

Late Paleozoic tectonic evolution in northern Korean Peninsula

Since Late Proterozoic era, the Korean Peninsula has been evolved into a state with relatively stable regions and orogenic belts which were developed differently each other. The Late Paleozoie （Late Carboniferous-Early Triassic） sediments are well developed in the Korean Peninsula, and called the Pyongan System. The Pyongan System from Late Carboniferous to Lower Triassic is distributed in the Pyongnan and Hyesan-Riwon Basins, and Rangrim Massif, and divided into Hongjom （ C2 ）, Ripsok （ C2 ）, Sadong （ C2-P1 ）, Kobangsan and Rokam （Taezhawon）（P2-T1） sequences. The sediments of the Tumangang Orogenic Belt are called Tuman System which is composed of the Amgi Series, consisting of elastic formation with mafic effusive material, overlaid by the Kyeryongsan Series, consisting mainly of marie volcano sediments. The Songsang Series which rests on the Kyeryongsan Series mainly consists of elastic formation with minor felsic effusive material. In the Tumangang Orogenic Belt the tectonic movement, called Tumangang Tectonic Movement, occurred in the Lower Permian-Lower Triassic.

The Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Cheongseoikki-Tang Ethanol Extract on Allergic Reactions Mediated by Bone Marrow-Derived Mast Cells

Objective： Cheongseoikki-tang （CIT, Korean）, also called Qingshu Yiqi decoction（清署益气汤）and Seisho-ekki-to （Japanese）, is well known as an effective traditional combination of herbs for treating cardiovascular diseases. This study was to research its effects on bone marrow-derived mast cell （BMMC）-mediated allergy and inflammation mechanisms. Methods： In this study, the biological effect of Cheongseoikki-tang ethanol extract （CITE） was evaluated, focusing on its effects on the production of allergic mediators by phorbol 12-myfistate 13-acetate （PMA） plus calcium ionophore A23187 （A23187）-stimulated BMMCs. These allergic mediators included intedeukin-6 （il-6）, prostaglandin D2 （PGD2）, leukotfiene （34 （LTC4）, and β-hexosaminidase （13-hex）. Results： Our data revealed that CITE inhibited the production of il-6, PGD2,/TC4, and 15-hex induced by PMA plus A23187 （P〈0.05）. Conclusion： These findings indicate that CITE has the potential for use in the treatment of allergy.

Background No study has thoroughly compared the effectiveness of combined antiplatelet treatments(other than clopidogrel–aspirin)versus clopidogrel–aspirin or aspirin alone for early secondary prevention in acute ischaemic *** We identified patients with acute,minor,non-cardiogenic ischaemic stroke treated with aspirin alone,clopidogrel–aspirin or other combination *** scores considering the inverse probability of treatment weighting were used to adjust for baseline *** primary outcome was the composite of all strokes(ischaemic or haemorrhagic),myocardial infarction and all-cause mortality at 3 *** Among 12234 patients(male:61.9%;age:65.5±13 years)who met the eligibility criteria,aspirin,clopidogrel–aspirin and other combination treatments were administered in 52.2%,42.9%and 4.9%of patients,*** the crude analysis,the primary outcome event at 3 months occurred in 14.5%of the other combination group,14.4%of the aspirin group and 13.0%of the clopidogrel–aspirin *** the weighted Cox proportional hazards analysis,the 3-month primary outcome event occurred less frequently in the clopidogrel–aspirin group than in the other combination group(weighted HR:0.82(0.59–1.13)),while no association was found between the aspirin group(weighted HR:1.04(0.76–1.44))or other combination group and the 3-month primary *** Other combined antiplatelet treatment,compared with aspirin alone or clopidogrel–aspirin,was not associated with reduced risks of primary composite vascular events or recurrent stroke during the first 3 months after ***,the results suggest that other combination treatments,particularly the cilostazol-based combination,may not be effective alternatives for clopidogrel–aspirin to prevent early vascular events in patients with acute minor *** exploration in clinical trials will be needed.

The Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and Damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton Collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical Design Report(TDR)follows the Preliminary Conceptual Design Report(Pre-CDR,2015)and the Conceptual Design Report(CDR,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&D and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.
