This paper presents a comprehensive study that includes the sizing and power flow by series and parallel inverters in a distributed generation system(DGs)that integrates the system of hybrid wind photovoltaic with a unified power quality conditioner(UPQC).In addition to supplying active power to the utility grid,the system of hybrid wind photovoltaic functions as a UPQC,compensating reactive power and suppressing the harmonic load ***,the load is supplied with harmonic-free,balanced and regulated output *** PVWind-UPQC is established on a dual compensation scheme,the series inverter works like a sinusoidal current source,while the parallel inverter works like a sinusoidal voltage ***,a smooth alteration from interconnected operating modes to island operating modes and vice versa can be achieved without load voltage *** PV-Wind-UPQC inverters handle the energy generated through the hybrid wind photovoltaic system and the energy demanded through the load,the converters should be sized cautiously.A detailed study of the flow of power via the PV-Wind-UPQC is imperative to gain a complete understanding of the system operation and the proper design of the ***,curves that allow the sizing of the power converters according to the power flow via the converters are presented and *** results are presented to assess both steady state and dynamic performances of the grid connected hybrid system of *** investigation is verified by simulating and analyzing the results with Matlab/Simulink.

A Mathematical Model for COVID-19 Image Enhancement based on Mittag-Leffler-Chebyshev Shift

The lungs CT scan is used to visualize the spread of the disease across the lungs to obtain better knowledge of the state of the COVID-19 *** diagnosing of COVID-19 disease is a complex challenge that medical system face during the pandemic *** address this problem,this paper proposes a COVID-19 image enhancement based on Mittag-Leffler-Chebyshev polynomial as pre-processing step for COVID-19 detection and *** proposed approach comprises the MittagLeffler sum convoluted with Chebyshev *** idea for using the proposed image enhancement model is that it improves images with low graylevel changes by estimating the probability of each *** proposed image enhancement technique is tested on a variety of lungs computed tomography(CT)scan dataset of varying quality to demonstrate that it is robust and can resist significant quality *** blind/referenceless image spatial quality evaluator(BRISQUE),and the natural image quality evaluator(NIQE)measures for CT scans were 38.78,and 7.43 *** to the findings,the proposed image enhancement model produces the best image quality ***,this model considerably enhances the details of the given datasets,and it may be able to assist medical professionals in the diagnosing process.

We have studied the lattice vibrations,optical and mechanical characteristics of the zinc-blende aluminum phosphide(Al P) *** have been done into the effect of temperature on refractive index,optical dielectric constant,static dielectric constant,longitudinal and transversal sound velocities,reflectivity,susceptibility,phonon frequencies,micro-hardness,ionicity,and transverse effective *** P is a wide-indirect band gap semiconductor and has a wide range of uses in high-performance optoelectronic devices,such as the manufacturing of infrared photo-detectors and light-emitting ***’s important to know the physical properties of semiconductor materials,like the Al P compound,to develop new technologies and *** calculations were carried out using the empirical pseudo-potential method(EPM).Comparative analysis with the existing experiment and other theoretical calculations reveals a satisfactory level of agreement.

Effect of the Arrangement of a New-Type of Turbulator Inserts on Heat Pipe Exchanger Performances

This research tests the effect of introducing turbulators of a new type into a circular tube heat exchanger under a constant and uniform longitudinal heatﬂux condition.A 45 mm diameter copper tube with a length of 1,350 mm is utilized with a solid disk being inserted inside the tube,which consists of three sections,each one containing two *** slot is cut at a 45 degree angle toward the inner tube surface,which results in diverging theﬂow toward the inner hot tube surface in order to enhance the heat transfer *** is considered as the workingﬂuid with Prandtl number *** Reynolds number spans the interval from 6,000–13,500,which indicates that the consideredﬂow is *** heat exchanger performance is studied and analyzed in terms of average Nusselt *** experimental results show that the Nusselt number value is directly proportional to the increase of the Reynolds number,and the number of turbulators *** the use of three novel turbulators,the heat transfer was about 3.15 times higher than that in the smooth tube and the friction factor was about 1.11.

Clothing the Other： The Use of Fashion in Pursuit of a British Imperial Utopia

The British Raj provides a deep and rich case to study the implementation（s） of real-world political utopias. It fits with the definition of political utopian theory wherein the system was a reactionary attempt to solve contemporary systemic problems. As an imperial project aimed at civilising the native population and creating a good life for both them and the British officials stationed there, it is an embodiment of the utopian quest for an ideal and perfectible society. In this paper, the author examines how this attempt at utopia extended into the private sphere through the impact the British Raj had on gender through clothing. Gender was specifically seen as an embodiment of cultural, national, and even religious values, which provided a powerful tool for a narrative of the colonial Self against the pre- or anti-colonial Other. Clothing is a powerful inherent representation of identity and the narrative of the Raj, as well as the counter-narrative of independence, relying heavily on acceptability in clothing. shaping notions of masculinity and femininity by controlling

GIS-Based Morphometric Analysis of Fourth-Order Sub-Basins of the Zerqa River (Northern Jordan) Using Multivariate Statistical Techniques

The present study attempts to examine the morphometric characteristics and relationships of 43 fourth-order sub-basins over the Zerqa River watershed, using ASTER DEM, GIS and multivariate statistics. To achieve these objectives, Principal Component Analysis was utilized to reduce the 26 parameters into six major components which accounted for 79.3% of the total variance explained by the original morphometric variables. Hierarchical Cluster Analysis (CA) (Ward’s method) has been applied to classify the 43 sub-basins based on different types of morphometric parameters. Four groups of sub-watersheds were identified and characterized by different morphometric properties. The patterns of spatial distribution of cluster groups were determined based on lithological, structure and tectonics, uplifting, and rejuvenation processes.

由于成本效益低,生态友好的性质和用途的多样性,风能发电无疑已成为所有可再生能源发电中最重要的。随着新的风能技术的进步,研究人员开发了控制和使其成为有效且可靠的能源的方法和算法,他们的大部分精力集中在安装有双馈感应发电机(DFIG)的风能转换系统的控制上。但是,风电场的集成存在许多问题,例如低惯性,频率不稳定,无功功率控制不便,故障电流等级判断,低压穿越(LVRT)等。低压穿越也称为电压骤降是风电场整合过程中电力系统中发生的,如果没有采取适当的解决方案,那么这些严重的干扰不仅会损坏转子侧变流器电路,而且还会严重威胁相关电力系统的稳定性。本研究主要分为两个部分。首先,在面向定子磁通的矢量控制中,包括两种不同的励磁策略,提出了变桨调速风力涡轮机中双馈发电机的稳态建模和分析。DFIG的稳态性能是通过定子和转子的磁化获得的。仿真结果表明,与基于转子的磁化相比,通过DFIG的定子磁化需要更高的定子电流和更小的转子电流,与通过转子磁化的DFIG相比,通过定子磁化意味着更高的效率和更少的功率损耗。其次,通过不同深度幅度的电压扰动,研究了基于DFIG的风力发电机具有最大功率点跟踪的动态性能。仿真结果表明,在严重的电压扰动下,撬杠保护不仅可以及时激活防止转子回路,而且还可以避免基于DFIG的风力机系统与电网失去同步。
