Novel synthesis of stabilized Bi_(1-x-y)Gd_xDy_yO_(1.5) solid electrolytes with enhanced conductivity for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs)

Herein,we report the synthesis of a Dy-Gd co-doped cubic phase-stabilized Bi_(2)O_(3) solid electrolyte system via solid-state processing under atmospheric *** with Dy^(3+) and Gd^(3+) has been observed to significantly enhance the densification process during sintering for stabilization purposes,thereby improving the electrical properties of δ-Bi_2O_(3)-type *** synthesized ceramics were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(FESEm-EDX),thermal gravimetry/differential thermal analysis(TG/DTA),and the four-point probe technique(4PPT).XRD analysis reveals that the samples Bi_(1-x-y)Gd_(x)Dy_(y)O_(1.5)(y=0.05/x=0.05,0.10,0,15,and 0.20,and x=0.05/y=0.10,0.15,and 0.20) exhibit a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and a mixed-phase crystallographic *** XRD analysis of the stabilized δ-phase suggests that the prepared oxides show a face-centered cubic(FCC) structure with a space group of *** micrographs reveal that the composition Bi_(0.90)Gd_(0.05)Dy_(0.05)O_(1.5) has no significant ***,an evident increase in the pore formation is observed as the amount of Gd_(2O_(3) increases until it reaches 20%.This finding suggests that dense pellets are formed during the sintering process at 900-1000℃.The DTA analyses were performed to verify the phase stability,which agrees with the XRD *** electrochemical performance of the synthesized Dy-Gd co-doped Bi_2O_(3)solid electrolyte system was evaluated and analyzed in detail by using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) technique,Based on EIS and conductivity measurements,Bi_(0.75)Gd_(0.20)Dy_(0.05)O_(1.5) exhibits the lowest activation energy of 0.519 eV and the highest conductivity value of 0.398 S/cm at 627℃compared to the other samples;this composition can be used as a solid electrolyte for intermediatetemperature solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs).

Due to their thermal performance,domed roofs are one of the passive solutions that affect energy consumption in *** thermal performance of domed roofs has been investigated in many naturally ventilated ***,few studies have discussed their performance in conditioned ***,this study introduces a computational comparison between domed and flat roofs to investigate their impact on thermal comfort inside a conditioned *** an earlier stage,field measurements were carried out inside a Bahraini mosque to acquire its indoor air conditions during the summer period of 2021,in addition to validating the computational *** findings of this study confirm that,under mechanical cooling conditions,the flat roof offers a lower indoor temperature than the domed roof by 0.4℃and 0.1℃for open and closed doors,***,the air velocity is lower by approximately 0.01 m/s for both door *** overall PmV values of the flat roof are also lower by 0.07 and 0.01,while the PPD values are lower by 0.20,and 0.34 for open and closed doors,*** on these small differences,it can be concluded that the thermal performance of both roofing systems behaves equally in conditioned ***,the air patterns are substantially different,the overall thermal performance is *** similarity drives building designers to rethink the thermal performance of the domed roofs in air-conditioned spaces with such a hot climate,regardless of their aesthetic and acoustical behaviour.

It is highly desired to develop efficient photocatalysts with recycling property for practical application to degrade toxic ***,nanosheet-assembled NiFe_(2)O_(4)microspheres with commendable activity are successfully synthesized by a facile solvothermal reaction with NH4F as the modifier,and their photoactivities are further improved by coupling with NiO through an in situ growth *** optimized nickel oxide(NiO)/nickel ferrite(NiFe_(2)O_(4))microsphere composite(5NiO/NFO-4)exhibits a satisfactory photocatalytic activity for 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP)degradation under visible-light irradiation,which is attributed to its wide visible-light response,well-designed hierarchical structure and enhanced charge transfer and separation by coupling NiO as a high-level energy platform to accept ***,it is found that the NiO/NiFe_(2)O_(4)microsphere photocatalysts can be easily collected and recycled owing to the distinctive magnetic *** work provides a feasible route to rational design visible-light-driven photocatalysts with high-activity for environmental remediation and purification with good recyclability.

Failure detection is an essential task in industrial systems for preventing costly downtime and ensuring the seamlessoperation of the system. Current industrial processes are getting smarter with the emergence of Industry ***, various modernized industrial processes have been equipped with quite a few sensors to collectprocess-based data to find faults arising or prevailing in processes along with monitoring the status of *** diagnosis of rotating machines serves a main role in the engineering field and industrial production. Dueto the disadvantages of existing fault, diagnosis approaches, which greatly depend on professional experienceand human knowledge, intellectual fault diagnosis based on deep learning (DL) has attracted the researcher’sinterest. DL reaches the desired fault classification and automatic feature learning. Therefore, this article designs a Gradient Optimizer Algorithm with Hybrid Deep Learning-based Failure Detection and Classification (GOAHDLFDC)in the industrial environment. The presented GOAHDL-FDC technique initially applies continuous wavelettransform (CWT) for preprocessing the actual vibrational signals of the rotating machinery. Next, the residualnetwork (ResNet18) model was exploited for the extraction of features from the vibration signals which are thenfed into theHDLmodel for automated fault detection. Finally, theGOA-based hyperparameter tuning is performedtoadjust the parameter valuesof theHDLmodel *** experimental result analysis of the GOAHDL-FD Calgorithm takes place using a series of simulations and the experimentation outcomes highlight the better resultsof the GOAHDL-FDC technique under different aspects.

Spinel ferrites exhibit exceptional magnetic properties,making them a distinctive class of magnetic *** sol-gel technique was utilized for the synthesis of spinel ferrites with the chemical formula Co_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4). Following that,a comprehensive X-ray diffraction analysis unveiled the crystalline cubic structure of the synthesized *** the utilization of the m-H loop approach,the ferromagnetic attributes of ferrites were assessed,and the assimilation of rare earth elements led to substantial enhancements in saturation magnetization,remanence,and *** ferrites with a high concentration of rare earth elements have improved direct current resistivity and activation *** logarithm of a material's resistance increased from 5.29 to 8.12 Ω·cm as cerium is *** a change in the amount of cerium,the activation energy goes up from 0.19 to *** changing the frequency from 5.5 to 9.5 GHz,the dielectric characteristics were *** the frequency goes up,the dielectric constant goes *** ferrites that have been made better in every way can be used in high-frequency applications.
