BACKGROUND The B.1.617.2(delta)variant of.severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)was f.rst discovered in Maharashtra in late 2020 and has rapidly expanded across India and *** took only 2 mo f.r this variant to spread in Indonesia,making the country the new epicenter of.the delta variant as of.July *** ef.orts made by accelerating massive rollouts of.current vaccines to protect against inf.ction,cases of.f.lly-vaccinated people inf.cted with the delta variant have been *** To describe the demographic statistics and clinical presentation of.the delta variant inf.ction af.er the second dose of.vaccine in *** A retrospective,single-centre case series of.the general consecutive population that worked or studied at f.culty of.Medicine,Universitas Indonesia with conf.rmed Delta Variant Inf.ction af.er a second dose of.vaccine f.om 24 June and 25 June *** were collected retrospectively based on a combination of.author recall,reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),and whole genome sequencing results f.om the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory,f.culty of.Medicine,Universitas *** Between 24 June and 25 June 2021,15 subjects were conf.rmed with the B.1.617.2(delta)variant inf.ction af.er a second dose of.the *** subjects were vaccinated with CoronaVac(Sinovac)and one subject with ChAdOx1 nCoV-19(Oxf.rd-AstraZeneca).All of.the subjects remained in home isolation,with f.ver being the most common symptom at the onset of.illness(n=10,66.67%).The mean duration of.symptoms was 7.73 d(±5.444).The mean time that elapsed f.om the f.rst positive swab to a negative RT-PCR test f.r SARS-CoV-2 was 17.93 d(±6.3464).The median time that elapsed f.om the second dose of.vaccine to the f.rst positive swab was 87 d(interquartile range:86-128).CONCLUSION Although this case shows that af.er two doses of.vaccine,subjects are still susceptible to the delta variant inf.ction,currently availab

Background Takotsubo syndrome （TS） is an important cardiac disease that af.ects predominantly postmenopausal women. This study was conducted to determine the impact of.age on the short- and long-term outcome of.TS patients. Methods ＆ Results The data f.om a collective of.114 TS patients with a mean f.llow-up of.1591 ：E 1079 days was retrospectively analysed. The study population was divided into two groups （≤ 65 and 〉 65 years） so as to evaluate the impact of.age on the short- and long-term mortality of.TS patients. In-hospital eventslike lif.-threatening arrhythmias （14.58% vs. 9.09%; P = 0.036）, need f.r mechanical respiratory support （41.66% vs. 28.78%; P = 0.15） as well as inotropic agent use （22.91% vs. 15.15%; P = 0.29）, although not reaching the statistical cut-of. tended to occur more of.en in the younger group. Heart f.ilure was more common in the elderly age group （P = 0.03）. The use of.multivariate analysis ruled out age as a signif.cant marker of.long term mortality （HR： 1.0; 95% CI： 0.9-1.0; P = 0.60）. Conclusions Age does not inf.uence the clinical course of.TS in terms of.the short- as well as long-term outcome. The study revealed a higher incidence of.lif. threatening arrhythmias in the younger patient age-group and a higher incidence of.heart f.ilure among the older group of.patients.

A tetrad f.eld that is homogeneous and anisotropic which contains two unknown f.nctions A（t） and B（t） of.cosmic time is applied to the f.eld equations of.f.T）, where T is the torsion scalar, T = T~μ_（νρ）S_μ^（νρ）. We calculate the equation of.continuity and rewrite it as a product of.two brackets, the f.rst is a f.nction of.f.T） and the second is a f.nction of.the two unknowns A（t） and B（t）. We use two dif.erent relations between the two unknown f.nctions A（t） and B（t） in the second bracket to solve it. Both of.these relations give constant scalar torsion and solutions coincide with the de Sitter one. So,another assumption related to the contents of.the matter f.elds is postulated. This assumption enables us to drive a solution with a non-constant value of.the scalar torsion and a f.rm of.f.T） which represents ΛCDM.

This work reports the synthesis,characterization,and energy f.cused applications of.the novel lanthanides co-doped tantalum pentoxide hetero-system(Sm^(3+)-Eu^(3+)-Tm^(3+):Ta_(2)O_(5)).Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)O_(5) express excellent opto-electronic f.atures ref.ected by the narrow band gap energy of.3.87 *** vibrations conf.rm the presence of.Ta-O-Ta and Ta-O *** synthesized system possesses orthorhombic geometry with 59.46 nm particle *** the smoother and compact morphology,the synthesized material succeeds in augmenting the perf.rmance of.dif.erent systems aimed at energy *** ambient perovskite solar cell device f.bricated with the Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)O_(5) as an electron transport layer excels in achieving an ef.iciency and f.ll f.ctor of.14.17% and 76% under artif.cial *** device was marked by the negligible hysteresis behavior showing prof.und photovoltaic *** electrochemical activity of.the Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)O_(5) decorated electrode was evaluated f.r electrical charge storage potential with pseudocapacitive behavior,With the highest specif.c capacitance of.355.39 f.g and quicker ionic dif.usion rate,the designed electrode excels conventionally used ***-catalysis of.water with Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)O_(5) material indicates its capacity f.r H_(2) production with the lowest overpotential and Taf.l slope values of.148 and 121.2 mV/dec,while the O_(2) generation is comparatively *** the stable electrochemical output,this rare earth modif.ed material has the potential to replace conventionally used environmentally perilous and costly materials.

Photovoltaic(PV)arrays are usually installed in open areas;hence,they are vulnerable to lightning strikes that can result in cell degradation,complete damage,service disruption,and increased maintenance *** a result,it is imperative to develop an ef.ective and ef.icient lightning protection system by evaluating the transient behaviour of.PV arrays during lightning *** aim is to evaluate the transient analysis of.large-scale PV systems when subjected to lightning strikes using the f.nite dif.erence time domain(f.TD)*** overvoltages are calculated at various points within the mounting *** optimise the f.TD method's execution time and make it more suitable f.r less powerf.l hardware,a variable cell size approach is ***,larger cell dimensions are used in the earthing system and smaller cell dimensions are used in the mounting *** f.TD method is utilised to calculate the temporal variation of.transient overvoltages f.r large-scale PV systems under dif.erent scenarios,including variations in the striking point,soil resistivity,and the presence of.a metal *** results indicate that the highest transient overvoltages occur at the striking point,and these values increase with the presence of.a PV metal f.ame as well as with higher soil ***,a comparison is perf.rmed between the overvoltage results obtained f.om the f.TD approach and the partial element equivalent circuit(PEEC)method at the f.ur corner points of.the mounting systems to demonstrate the superior accuracy of.the f.TD ***,a laboratory experiment is conducted on a small-scale PV system to validate the simulation *** calculated overvoltages obtained f.om the f.TD and PEEC methods are compared with the measured values,yielding a mean absolute error of.5%and 11%f.r the f.TD and PEEC methods,respectively,thereby conf.rming the accuracy of.the f.TD simulation model.

In recent times,the evolution of.blockchain technology has got huge attention f.om the research community due to its versatile applications and unique security *** IoT has shown wide adoption in various applications including smart cities,healthcare,trade,business,*** these applications,f.tness applications have been widely considered f.r smart f.tness *** users of.the f.tness system are increasing at a high rate thus the gym providers are constantly extending the f.tness ***,scheduling such a huge number of.requests f.r f.tness exercise is a big ***,the user f.tness data is critical thus securing the user f.tness data f.om unauthorized access is also *** overcome these issues,this work proposed a blockchain-based load-balanced task scheduling approach.A thorough analysis has been perf.rmed to investigate the applications of.IoT in the f.tness industry and various scheduling *** proposed scheduling approach aims to schedule the requests of.the f.tness users in a load-balanced way that maximize the acceptance rate of.the users’requests and improve resource *** perf.rmance of.the proposed task scheduling approach is compared with the state-of.the-art approaches concerning the average resource utilization and task rejection *** obtained results conf.rm the ef.iciency of.the proposed scheduling *** investigating the perf.rmance of.the blockchain,various experiments are perf.rmed using the Hyperledger Caliper concerning latency,throughput,resource *** Solo approach has shown an improvement of.32%and 26%in throughput as compared to Raf. and Solo-Raf. approaches *** obtained results assert that the proposed architecture is applicable f.r resource-constrained IoT applications and is extensible f.r dif.erent IoT applications.

The naïve Bayes classif.er is one of.the commonly used data mining methods f.r *** its simplicity,naïve Bayes is ef.ective and computationally *** the strong attribute independence assumption in the naïve Bayes classif.er makes it a tractable method f.r learning,this assumption may not hold in real-world *** enhancements to the basic algorithm have been proposed in order to alleviate the violation of.attribute independence *** these methods improve the classif.cation perf.rmance,they do not necessarily retain the mathematical structure of.the naïve Bayes model and some at the expense of.computational *** approach to reduce the naïvetéof.the classif.er is to incorporate attribute weights in the conditional *** this paper,we proposed a method to incorporate attribute weights to naïve *** evaluate the perf.rmance of.our method,we used the public benchmark *** compared our method with the standard naïve Bayes and baseline attribute weighting *** results show that our method to incorporate attribute weights improves the classif.cation perf.rmance compared to both standard naïve Bayes and baseline attribute weighting methods in terms of.classif.cation accuracy and f.,especially when the independence assumption is strongly violated,which was validated using the Chi-square test of.independence.

Optical Wireless Communication(OWC)is a new trend in communication systems to achieve large bandwidth,high bit rate,high security,f.st deployment,and low *** basic idea of.the OWC is to transmit data on unguided media with *** system requires multi-carrier modulation such as Orthogonal f.equency Division Multiplexing(Of.M).This paper studies optical Of.M perf.rmance based on Intensity Modulation with Direct Detection(IM/DD)*** system requires a non-negativity *** paper presents a f.amework f.r wireless optical Of.M system that comprises(IM/DD)with dif.erent f.rms,Direct Current biased Optical Of.M(DCO-Of.M),Asymmetrically Clipped Optical Of.M(ACO-Of.M),Asymmetrically DC-biased Optical Of.M(ADO-Of.M),and *** also considers channel coding as a tool f.r error control,channel equalization f.r reducing deterioration due to channel ef.ects,and investigation of.the turbulence *** evaluation results of.the proposed f.amework reveal enhancement of.*** perf.rmance of.the IM/DD-Of.M system is investigated over dif.erent channel models such as AWGN,log-normal turbulence channel model,and ceiling bounce channel *** simulation results show that the BER perf.rmance of.the IM/DD-Of.M communication system is enhanced while the f.ding strength is *** results reveal also that Hamming codes,BCH codes,and convolutional codes achieve better BER ***,two algorithms of.channel estimation and equalization are considered and *** algorithms include the Least Squares(LS)and the Minimum Mean Square Error(MMSE).The simulation results show that the MMSE algorithm gives better BER perf.rmance than the LS algorithm.

A SIQS epidemic model with saturated incidence rate is studied. Two equilibrium points exist f.r the system, disease-f.ee and endemic equilibrium. The stability of.the disease-f.ee equilibrium and endemic equilibrium exists when the basic reproduction number R0, is less or greater than unity respectively. The global stability of.the disease-f.ee and endemic equilibrium is proved using Lyapunov f.nctions and Poincare-Bendixson theorem plus Dulac’s criterion respectively.

Residual stresses induced during turning processes can af.ect thequality and perf.rmance of.machined products,depending on its direction and *** stresses can be highly detrimental as they can lead to creeping,f.tigue,and stress corrosion *** f.nal state of.residual stresses in a workpiece depends on its material as well as the cutting-tool conf.guration such as tool geometry/coating,cooling and wear conditions,and process parameters including the cutting speed,depth-of.ut and ***,there have been disagreements in some literatures regarding inf.uences of.the abovementioned f.ctors on residual stresses due to dif.erent cutting conditions,tool parameters and workpiece materials used in the specif.c *** review paper categorizes dif.erent methods in experimental,numerical and analytical approaches employed f.r determining induced residual stresses and their relationships with cutting conditions in a turning *** is presented f.r the ef.ects of.dif.erent cutting conditions and parameters on the f.nal residual stresses state.
