With the developing of juices a.d bevera.es industry, the processors need to bring new nutritiona. fortified products to ca.ture the ma.ket a. per the dema.d of the consumer who needs hea.thier product. Thus, this study a.med to the production of ma.go bevera.e a.d ma.go fla.ored bevera.e fortified with chia.seeds;eva.ua.e the chemica. properties of chia.seeds a.d study the effect of a.ding ca.boxymethyl cellulose, xa.tha. gum a.d low a.yl gella. gum a. the concentra.ions of 0.05% a.d 0.1% on the sta.ility of suspension chia.seeds in bevera.e during stora.e a. a.bient tempera.ure for six months. Viscosity, color, zeta.potentia., suspension of seeds a.d orga.oleptic properties were eva.ua.ed. Results showed tha. chia.seeds were rich in protein, omega.3 fa.ty a.ids a.d dieta.y fiber. The a.dition of 0.05% gella. gum led to improved a.pea.a.ce a.tributes a.d the highest sta.ility of suspension of chia.seeds for six months, a.d wa. the sa.ple which scored highest for overa.l a.cepta.ility compa.ed to the other sa.ples of bevera.es. Results indica.ed tha. using chia.seeds with the a.dition of 0.05% low a.yl gella. gum led to the production of fortified ma.go bevera.e a.d ma.go fla.ored bevera.e with high sta.ility for six months.

TORQUE Ca.a.ITY a.D CONTa.T EFFICIENCY OF a.Ha.F TOROIDa. CONTINUOUSLY Va.Ia.LE TRa.SMISSIONS

Tra.smission Chongqing UniversityChongqing 400044Chinahe automotive industry is seeking new concepts for a continuously variable transmission (CVT) in the driveline. One possible solution for a CVT design is half toroidal traction drive providing a high torque capacity with quick ratio change. An analytical study on the contact points of the half toroidal CVT has been detailed. The shapes of the contact areas among the input disk power roller and output disk are considered ellipses. Mathematical equations for estimating the torque capacity power loss due to spin action and contact efficiency of the elliptical contacts of the half toroidal CVT are formulated and expressed in the form of integrals which can be readily evaluated by numerical scheme. The contact efficiency calculations of the half toroidal CVT have been developed for the proper spin point locations under the effect of system parameters. Numerical results are presented in graphical forms for considered parameters which can help the designer to select the proper system parameters to minimize the undesirable spin effects.

CVT ha.e been developed for the proper spin point loca.ions under the effect of systempa.a.eters. Numerica. results a.e presented hi gra.hica. forms for considered pa.a.eters, which ca.help the designer to select the proper system pa.a.eters to minimize the undesira.le spin effects.

Microscopic a.terior Ca.losotomy for Ma.a.ement of Intra.ta.le Epilepsy (a.-a.ha. Experience)

Ca.losotomy prevents propa.a.ion of epileptic discha.ge from one cerebra. hemisphere to the other. Objective: To describe a.-a.ha. University Hospita.s experience a.d clinica. outcome of a.terior Corpus Ca.losotomy for ma.a.ement of drug-resista.t genera.ized epilepsy pa.ients a. a. inexpensive pa.lia.ive method. Pa.ients a.d Methods: In this study, there a.e 15 pa.ients a.mitted to Neurosurgery Depa.tment in a.-a.ha. University Hospita.s with drug-resista.t genera.ized epilepsy. These pa.ients were not ca.dida.es for lesionectomy. They were ma.a.ed by a.terior two thirds Corpus Ca.losotomy between Februa.y 2017 a.d December 2019. They were followed a. outpa.ient clinic for a. lea.t 14 months. Clinica. outcome rega.ding seizure control wa. a.sessed using Engel cla.sifica.ion. Results: a.l 15 pa.ients in this study underwent a.terior two thirds corpus ca.losotomy a.d followed for a. lea.t 14 months. The post-opera.ive improvement of seizure frequency ha. been eva.ua.ed using Engel outcome sca.e with 12 pa.ients (80%) of the pa.ients becoming Engel cla.s II a.d 3 pa.ients (20%) becoming Engel cla.s III. Only 3 pa.ients (20%) ha. minor tra.sient postopera.ive complica.ions;one pa.ient (6.67%) ha. contra.la.era. lower limb hea.iness Gra.e 4 which wa. tra.sient, one pa.ient (6.67%) ha. contra.la.era. lower limb Ja.ksonia. foca. fits a.d one pa.ient (6.67%) ha. beha.iora. cha.ges for one month. Conclusion: Corpus ca.losotomy is a.pa.lia.ive procedure a.d inexpensive method for ma.a.ement of pa.ients with intra.ta.le foca. with genera.iza.ion a.d genera.ized drug-resista.t epilepsy who a.e not suita.le for resective surgery a.d with good outcome.

Objective The trea.ment pla.ning system currently represents one of the ba.ics of ra.ia.ion thera.y,beca.se it is the only method to estima.e pa.ient dose delivery fa.t forwa.d a.d a.cura.ely represent estima.ed tumor loca.ion of the tumor with the possibility of estima.ing densities in the tissue surrounding the tumor to overcome dose ca.cula.ion defects but ra.ia. estima.ed the *** the fla.s a.socia.ed with the systems a.d ca.cula.es the dose of your progra.s in a.l progra.s currently existing in the *** necessa.y,to the existence of a.review of the a.cura.y of a.counts a.d how to confirm the ra.ia.ion dose to the pa.ient *** a.tota. of 35 ca.cer pa.ients were considered for this study,with 245 field mea.urements ma.e with low-a.d high-energy diode detectors for bra.n a.d prosta.e *** trea.ments for a.l pa.ients were pla.ned using Eclipse Trea.ment Pla.ning System version *** Of the 105 field mea.urements ma.e for the prosta.e ca.cer pa.ients,16 included discrepa.cies outside the ±5% a.tion *** the 145 mea.urements ta.en of the bra.n ca.es,there were four outside the ±5% a.tion *** results indica.ed a.higher degree of *** study revea.ed tha.,for the prosta.e mea.urements,the higher discrepa.cy in the doses for the pa.ticula. fields(exceeding the a.tion level) ma. ha.e been due to the isocenter being very close to the ja.s a.d multi-lea. collima.or of the linea. a.celera.or *** a.result,sca.ter from the ja.s a.d the multi-lea. collima.or could ha.e contributed to the high dose delivered to the diode;hence,a.proba.le higher discrepa.cy of the dose in more bra.n ca.es due highest qua.ity of VMa. technique a.d fixa.ion *** a.grea.er percenta.e of the observed discrepa.cies were well within the set tolera.ce ***,it is recommended tha. the positioning of the diode on the pa.ient's skin a.d the a.gula. sensitivity of the diodes be *** is a.so recommended tha. a.m
