Detecting hate speech automatically in social media forensics has emerged as a highly challenging task due tothe complex nature of language used in such platforms. Currently, several methods exist for classifying hatespeech, but they still suffer from ambiguity when differentiating between hateful and offensive content and theyalso lack accuracy. The work suggested in this paper uses a combination of the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to adjust the weights of two Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLPs)for neutrosophic sets classification. During the training process of the MLP, the WOA is employed to exploreand determine the optimal set of weights. The PSO algorithm adjusts the weights to optimize the performanceof the MLP as fine-tuning. Additionally, in this approach, two separate MLP models are employed. One MLPis dedicated to predicting degrees of truth membership, while the other MLP focuses on predicting degrees offalse membership. The difference between these memberships quantifies uncertainty, indicating the degree ofindeterminacy in predictions. The experimental results indicate the superior performance of our model comparedto previous work when evaluated on the Davidson dataset.

Dapoxetine is a newer anti-depressant that is used for severe forms of depression via selective serotonin reuptake inhibition conduit. We aimed to evaluate the effect of different doses of dapoxetine lonely or with acetaminophen(AMP). Seven groups of albino rats were used where dapoxetine was administered orally at the doses of 3, 5, and 8 mg/kg body weight for a period of 14 days in groups 2, 4, and 6, respectively. AMP(67.5 mg/kg body weight) was co-administered with dapoxetine(3, 5, and 8 mg/kg body weight)for 14 days in groups 3, 5 and 7, respectively. Dapoxetine in mid and high dose plus AMP increased body weight and hematological parameters. Ambulation and rearing were declined with mid and high doses of dapoxetine+AMP, contrary to grooming. Struggling was decreased with high doses of dapoxetine+AMP. High dose of dapoxetine+AMP induced lowering of serotonin and dopamine as well as increasing of cholinesterase. Brain derived neurotrophic factor was decreased in all groups. Oxidative stress biomarkers were augmented with high dose of dapoxetine+AMP. High doses of dapoxetine and/or AMP induced loss of the Purkinje cell layer at cerebellum. The high dose of dapoxetine+AMP denotes behavioral,histopathological and neurochemical alterations, even though no serotonin syndrome occurs.

BACKGROUND Cognitive frailty,characterized by the coexistence of cognitive impairment and physical frailty,represents a multifaceted challenge in the aging population.The role of cardiovascular risk factors in this complex interplay is not yet fully understood.AIM To investigate the relationships between cardiovascular risk factors and older persons with cognitive frailty by pooling data from two cohorts of studies in Malaysia.MeTHODS A comprehensive approach was employed,with a total of 512 communitydwelling older persons aged 60 years and above,involving two cohorts of older persons from previous studies.Datasets related to cardiovascular risks,namely sociodemographic factors,and cardiovascular risk factors,including hypertension,diabetes,hypercholesterolemia,anthropometric characteristics and biochemical profiles,were pooled for analysis.Cognitive frailty was defined based on the Clinical Dementia Rating scale and Fried frailty score.Cardiovascular risk was determined using Framingham risk score.Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS version 21.ReSULTS Of the study participants,46.3%exhibited cognitive frailty.Cardiovascular risk factors including hypertension(OR:1.60;95%CI:1.12-2.30),low fat-free mass(OR:0.96;95%CI:0.94-0.98),high percentage body fat(OR:1.04;95%CI:1.02-1.06),high waist circumference(OR:1.02;95%CI:1.01-1.04),high fasting blood glucose(OR:1.64;95%CI:1.11-2.43),high Framingham risk score(OR:1.65;95%CI:1.17-2.31),together with sociodemographic factors,i.e.,being single(OR 3.38;95%CI:2.26-5.05)and low household income(OR 2.18;95%CI:1.44-3.30)were found to be associated with cognitive frailty.CONCLUSION Cardiovascular-risk specific risk factors and sociodemographic factors were associated with risk of cognitive frailty,a prodromal stage of dementia.early identification and management of cardiovascular risk factors,particularly among specific group of the population might mitigate the risk of cognitive frailty,hence preventing dementia.

BACKGROUND Childhood bronchial asthma(BA)is a chronic inflammatory respiratory disease.Nutritional conditions,including zinc deficiency,can affect such allergic disorders.AIM To outline the difference in serum zinc levels between asthmatic children and healthy controls.MeTHODS A cross-sectional study was carried out at Children’s Hospital,Cairo University,investigating serum zinc levels in children with BA(n=40)and healthy children(n=21).Other markers included serum ferritin,iron,hemoglobin(Hb),and immunoglobulin e(Ige)levels.Independent t-tests and Mann-Whinny tests were used for comparisons.The Kruskal-Wallis test was applied to compare serum ferritin and Ige levels with regard to asthma severity.Spearman's rank correlation was performed to explore the relationship between serum ferritin levels and both iron and Hb levels in asthmatic children.ReSULTS Children with BA had higher levels of zinc,yet the difference was not significant(P=0.115).Serum ferritin and Ige levels were significantly higher in asthmatic children(P=0.006 and 0.001,respectively),yet their levels did not differ significantly by severity(P=0.623 and 0.126,respectively).There was a nonsignificant weak correlation between serum ferritin levels and both serum iron and Hb levels.CONCLUSION Serum zinc levels do not seem to differ between asthmatic children and healthy children.Serum ferritin levels may be a marker of asthma control.Serum Ige levels are not markers of asthma severity.

Introduction and Significance: Burn injury (BI) is a considerable health issue which is responsible for around 300,000 deaths and affecting about 11 million people every year worldwide. In Saudi Arabia, the prevalence of BIs array from 112 to 518 per 100,000 per year. The appropriate awareness of performing first aid could facilitate to improve the outcomes of burns. Purpose and Objectives: To appraise the community that acknowledges burns, first aid, and associated factors among the community population in Jazan City, Saudi Arabia. The paper aims to identify limitations to encourage additional research and persuade legislators to develop improved burn-injury care recommendations and training programs. Materials and Methods: An observational-based sample survey was conducted among the people who live in Jazan City aging 13 years or more, during April 5 to May 5, 2023. Data collection was done by a validated online self-administrated questionnaire sent randomly to community members in different parts of Jazan City via social media platforms. Collected data were coded and cleaned by an excel program, and finally exported on SPSS 26.0 software. The variables were analyzed using descriptive statistics like frequencies and percentages. Also, the Chi-square test was used to investigate the relation between different variables, with a significance value of P Results: This study included 243 participants (about 62%) among them were mostly male participants (151) having a university degree. The majority of participants 75% did not take any form of BFA training in the past. This study shows that 69.9% of the participants have inadequate awareness, despite 72% having a constructive attitude towards burn first aid. Previous burn-related first aid training was significantly associated with participants’ knowledge of BFA at a p-value less than 0.05. Conclusion: This study indicates a high frequency of Jazan population having inadequate knowledge of burn first aid despite the high prevalence of a favorable attitude. There is a

This study aims at investigating the ballistic resistance and energy absorption in woven e-glass composite panels,considering different projectile nose shapes and oblique incidence angles.To that scope,three-dimensional finite element(Fe)models of both projectiles and the laminated target are developed and numerical investigations are carried out using Abaqus explicit solver.The composite damage model’s constitutive law encompasses nonlinear material response,material properties degradation,progressive failure,and an element deletion strategy.The cohesive surface technique is used to represent the interface between two adjacent plies in the laminate,and the traction-separation law is used to characterize the behaviors of interlaminar degradation and failure.Material responses attributable to fiber rupture,matrix cracking,and plasticity caused by micro-matrix cracking due to shear loading are taken into account with suitable damage evolution laws.The computational framework is first validated against the experimental results reported in the literature by performing ballistic impact tests on the target laminate with conical,hemispherical and blunt-ended projectile,and the numerical results showed a good comparison in terms of residual velocity.Subsequently the framework is explored in simulating more complex failure mechanisms,with particular emphasis on the influence of the impact angle of obliquity,a parameter that is not usually analyzed in the literature.In that regard,the effects of normal and oblique impact on the damage morphologies and ballistic behavior of the fabric composite target in terms of energy absorption,impact contact force,and projectile residual velocity are conducted and analyzed,comparatively.The findings showed that the ballistic impact behavior of target composite is substantially influenced by projectile nose shape and incidence angle obliquity.

Diabetic retinopathy(DR)diagnosis through digital fundus images requires clinical experts to recognize the presence and importance of many intricate features.This task is very difficult for ophthalmologists and timeconsuming.Therefore,many computer-aided diagnosis(CAD)systems were developed to automate this screening process ofDR.In this paper,aCAD-DR system is proposed based on preprocessing and a pre-train transfer learningbased convolutional neural network(PCNN)to recognize the five stages of DR through retinal fundus images.To develop this CAD-DR system,a preprocessing step is performed in a perceptual-oriented color space to enhance the DR-related lesions and then a standard pre-train PCNN model is improved to get high classification results.The architecture of the PCNN model is based on three main phases.Firstly,the training process of the proposed PCNN is accomplished by using the expected gradient length(eGL)to decrease the image labeling efforts during the training of the CNN model.Secondly,themost informative patches and images were automatically selected using a few pieces of training labeled samples.Thirdly,the PCNN method generated useful masks for prognostication and identified regions of interest.Fourthly,the DR-related lesions involved in the classification task such as micro-aneurysms,hemorrhages,and exudates were detected and then used for recognition of DR.The PCNN model is pre-trained using a high-end graphical processor unit(GPU)on the publicly available Kaggle benchmark.The obtained results demonstrate that the CAD-DR system outperforms compared to other state-of-the-art in terms of sensitivity(Se),specificity(SP),and accuracy(ACC).On the test set of 30,000 images,the CAD-DR system achieved an average Se of 93.20%,SP of 96.10%,and ACC of 98%.This result indicates that the proposed CAD-DR system is appropriate for the screening of the severity-level of DR.

Nano-sized hydroxyapatite(HA)particles were synthesized by sol-gel through water and ethanol based mediums of phosphoric acid(H3PO4)and calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH)2)at pH=11 for different calcination time(1 h,2 h,4 h).The effects of calcination time and solution on the crystallinity,morphology and impurity phases of the HA nanoparticles were examined via Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),Scanning electron Microscopy(SeM),energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy(eDS)and X-ray Diffraction(XRD).It was found that crystallite size and the fraction crystallinity of the synthesized samples increased with calcination time.According to solution medium,only CaO as impurity was appeared in the water-based solvent,CaO and Ca(OH)2 impurities were appeared in the ethanol-based solvent.The lowest crystallinity was 0.92 and the highest crystallinity was 1.73 respectively,depending on the process parameters.The Ca/P atomic ratio closest to the bone was found as 1.5178.As a result,the employed water-based sol-gel processes for 1 h calcination time was determined as the optimum for the formation of nano-sized HA powders using calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid.

Afamous psychologist or researcher,Daniel Goleman,gave a theory on the importance of emotional Intelligence for the success of an individual’s life.Daniel Goleman quoted in the research that“The contribution of an individual’s Intelligence Quotient(IQ)is only 20%for their success,the remaining 80%is due to emotional Intelligence(eQ)”.However,in the absence of a reliable technique for eQ evaluation,this factor of overall intelligence is ignored in most of the intelligence evaluation mechanisms.This research presented an analysis based on basic statistical tools along with more sophisticated deep learning tools.The proposed cross intelligence evaluation uses two different aspects which are similar,i.e.,eQ and SQ to estimate eQ by using a trained model over SQ Dataset.This presented analysis ensures the resemblance between the emotional and Social Intelligence of an Individual.The research authenticates the results over standard statistical tools and is practically inspected by deep learning tools.Trait emotional Intelligence Questionnaire-Short Form(TeIQue-SF)and Social IQ dataset are deployed over aMulti-layered Long-Short TermMemory(M-LSTM)based deep learning model for accessing the resemblance between eQ and SQ.The M-LSTM based trained deep learning model registered,the high positive resemblance between emotional and Social Intelligence and concluded that the resemblance factor between these two is more than 99.84%.This much resemblance allows future researchers to calculate human emotional intelligence with the help of social intelligence.This flexibility also allows the use of Big Data available on social networks,to calculate the emotional intelligence of an individual.
