In the present investigation,we demonstrate the capabilities of the discontinuous Galerkin spectral element method for high order accuracy computation of gas *** internal flow field of a natural gas injector for bivalent combustion engines is investigated under its operating *** simulations of the flow field and the aeroacoustic noise emissions were in a good agreement with the experimental *** tested several shockcapturing techniques for the discontinuous Galerkin *** on the validated framework,we analyzed the development of the supersonic jets during different opening procedures of a compressed natural gas *** results suggest that a more gradual injector opening decreases the noise emission.

Time Course of Postoperative Complications in Low-Risk Women after Planned Cesarean section

Objectives: Length of hospital stay after cesarean section is today much shorter than previously, and a stay of only 1 day is used in many departments. However, complications requiring immediate treatment must be diagnosed before leaving hospital. We assessed the time interval from planned cesarean section to diagnosis of major complications in low-risk women to estimate a safe time of discharge. Methods: We performed a retrospective observational study among 5633 women undergoing planned cesarean section from 2001-2017 at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. The inclusion criterion was postoperative complication graded as Clavien-Dindo ≥ II. Exclusion criteria were preoperative comorbidity or problems during surgery indicative of need for prolonged stay. Time from cesarean section to suspicion of a postoperative complication was the primary endpoint. Results: The study population consisted of 116 women with unexpected postoperative complications, 47 classified as Clavien-Dindo II and 69 as Clavien-Dindo III-IV. In 63 of the 116, the diagnoses were suspected within 24 hours (Clavien-Dindo II: 25, Clavien-Dindo III-IV: 38). These included all cases of relaparotomy and uterine atony with immediate need of medical treatment. Acute colonic pseudo-obstruction was diagnosed within 2 days, while other complications were suspected and treated 2 to 10 days postoperatively. Conclusions: Among low-risk women with a postoperative complication, all cases requiring relaparotomy and medically treated uterine atony were suspected within 24 hours after surgery. Discharge 24 hours after planned cesarean section seems safe in low-risk patients.

辣椒(Capsicum annuum)是美洲最古老的驯化作物之一,在全世界被广泛种植。本研究对CM334(墨西哥地方品种)进行了全基因组测序和组装(覆盖度为186.6×),同时还对另外两个栽培种和一个野生种分别进行了重测序和从头(de novo)测序。结果表明辣椒基因组大小约为番茄的4倍,辣椒基因组上存在大量gypsy转座子和花椰菜病毒家族元件的积累。结合转录组综合分析认为,辣椒素合成酶基因表达模式的改变及新功能化是导致辣椒素生物合成的原因,研究还发现辣椒与番茄在乙烯合成及果实成熟调控方面存在明显不同的分子模式。辣椒参考基因组的发布为辣椒营养品质和药用价值的改善提供了重要平台。

Drug absorption in patients with chronic pancreatitis might be affected by the pathophysiology of the *** exocrine pancreatic insufficiency is associated with changes in gastrointestinal intraluminal pH,motility disorder,bacterial overgrowth and changed pancreatic gland *** these factors can result in malabsorption and may also affect the efficacy of pharmacological *** lifestyle of chronic pancreatitis patients may also contribute to gastrointestinal *** patients limit their food intake because of the pain caused by eating and in some cases food intake is more or less substituted with alcohol,tobacco and *** and drug interaction are known to influence the pharmacokinetics by altering either drug absorption or by affecting liver *** patients suffering from chronic pancreatitis experience severe pain,opioids are often prescribed as pain *** have intrinsic effects on gastrointestinal motility and hence can modify the absorption of other drugs taken at the same ***,the increased fluid absorption caused by opioids will decrease water available for drug dissolution and may hereby affect absorption of the *** stated above many factors can influence drug absorption and metabolism in patients with chronic *** factors may not have clinical relevance,but may explain inter-individual variations in responses to a given drug,in patients with chronic pancreatitis.
