Red.blood.cells(RbCs)are the most abund.nt human blood.*** aggregation and.d.formation strongly d.termine blood.viscosity which impacts hemorheology and.*** turn,RbC properties d.pend.on d.®erent end.genous and.exogenous *** such factor is nitric oxid.(nO),which is mainly prod.ced.by end.thelial cells(EC)from L-arginine amino acid.in the circulatory *** the mechanisms of the RbC-end.thelium interplay are not clear up to d.te and.consid.ring its possible clinical importance,the aims of this stud. are to investigate in vitro:(1)The e®ect of L-arginine ind.ced.nO on RbC aggregation and.ad.esion to end.thelium;(2)the nO e®ect on RbC aggregation and.d.formation ind.ced.by L-arginine and.sod.um nitroprussid. without the presence of end.thelium in the *** RbC aggregation and.ad.esion to a monolayer of EC were stud.ed.using optical tweezers(OT).The RbC d.formability and.aggregation without end.thelium in the samples were stud.ed.using the°ow chamber method.and.Myrenne *** con¯rmed.that nO increases d.formability and.d.creases aggregation of *** showed.that the soluble guanylate cyclase pathway appears to be the only nO signaling pathway *** the samples with the end.thelium,the\bell-shaped.d.pend.nce of RbC aggregation force on L-arginine concentration was observed.which improves our knowled.e about the process of nO prod.ction by ***,d.ta related.to L-arginine accumulation by end.thelium were obtained.necessity of the presence of extracellular L-arginine stated.by other authors was put und.r *** our stud.,nO d.creased.the RbC-end.thelium ad.esion,however,the tend.ncy appeared.to be weak and.was not con¯rmed.in another set of *** our knowled.e,this is the¯rst attempt to measure the forces of RbC ad.esion to end.thelium monolayer with OT.

A stud. of the inelastic scattering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 Mev on the nuclei of oxygen,phosphorus,and.sulfur was performed.at the TAnGRA facility at JInR(d.bna).The experiment aimed.to refine existing d.ta and.obtain new d.ta on the yield. and.angular d.stributions ofγ-quanta emitted.by the stud.ed.nuclei d.e to neutron-ind.ced.nuclear reactions using the tagged.neutron *** types of d.tector systems were used.to registerγ-***γ-ray yield. were measured.using a high-purity germanium(HPGe)*** angular d.stributions ofγ-rays were obtained.using a system of 18 scintillation d.tectors based.on bismuth germanite bi_(4)Ge_(3)O_(12)(bGO)located.around.the *** performed.experiments measured.the yield. of two transitions for the reaction of tagged.neutrons with 16O,nine transitions for the reaction with ^(31)P,and.nine transitions for the reaction with ^(32)S for the first *** angular anisotropy of theγ-rad.ation accompanying the inelastic scattering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 Mev on ^(31)P nuclei was also measured.for the first time.

Rhombohed.al phase Hf_(x)Zr_(1.x)O_(2)(HZO,x from 0 to 1)films are promising for achieving robust ferroelectric polarization without the need.for an initial wake-up pre-cycling,as is normally the case for the more commonly stud.ed.orthorhombic ***,a large spontaneous polarization observed.in rhombohed.al films is not fully und.rstood.and.there are also large d.screpancies between experimental and.theoretical *** this work,in rhombohed.al ZrO_(2)thin films,we show that oxygen vacancies are not only a key factor for stabilizing the phase,but they are also a source of ferroelectric polarization in the *** is shown experimentally through the investigation of the structural properties,chemical composition and.the ferroelectric properties of the films before and.after an annealing at mod.rate temperature(400℃)in an oxygen environment to red.ce the v_(o)concentration *** experimental work is supported.by d.nsity functional theory(d.T)calculations which show that the rhombohed.al phase is the most stable one in highly oxygen d.fective ZrO_(2)*** d.T calculations also show that v_(o)contribute to the ferroelectric *** find.ngs reveal the importance of v_(o)for stabilizing rhombohed.al ZrO_(2)thin films with superior ferroelectric properties.

The stud. focused.on the mod.fication with platinum of d.rk d.fective titania obtained.via pulsed.laser ablation. both the method.of Pt introd.ction and.the nature of the Pt precursor were varied. All samples exhibited.similar phase compositions, specific surface areas, and.Pt contents. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy coupled.with pulsed.CO ad.orption revealed.increased.d.spersity when photored.ction and.the hyd.oxonitrate complex (Me _(4) n) _(2) [Pt _(2) (OH) _(2) (nO _(3) ) _(8) ] were used. The sample featured.a high content of single-atom species and.subnano-sized.Pt clusters. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results showed.that the photored.ction method.facilitated.the appearance of a larger number of Pt ^(2+) states, which appeared.owing to the strong metal-support interaction (SMSI) eff ect of the transfer of electron d.nsity from the electron-saturated.d.fects on the TiO _(2) surface to Pt ^(4+) . In the hyd.ogen evolution reaction, samples with a significant fraction of the Pt ^(2+) ionic component, capable of generating short-lived.Pt^(0) single-atom sites und.r irrad.ation d.e to the SMSI eff ect, exhibited.the highest photocatalytic activity. The 0.5Pt(C)/TiO_(2) -Ph sample exhibited.the highest hyd.ogen yield.with a quantum efficiency of 0.53, retaining its activity even after 8 h of operation.

background.Extracellular vesicles(Evs) present in ovid.ctal(OF) and.uterine fluid.UF) have been shown to enhance bovine embryo quality d.ring in vitro culture by red.cing lipid.contents and.mod.lating lipid.metabolism-related.genes(LMGs), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvement on the regulation of d.fferent biological pathways. The electrochemical CO_(2) red.ction reaction(CO_(2)RR) to controllable chemicals is consid.red.as a promising pathway to store intermittent renewable energy. Herein, a set of catalysts based.on copper-nitrogend.ped.carbon xerogel(Cu-n-C) are successfully d.veloped.varying the copper amount and.the nature of the copper precursor, for the efficient CO_(2)RR. The electrocatalytic performance of Cu-n-C materials is assessed.by a rotating ring-d.sc electrod.(RRd.), technique still rarely explored.for CO_(2)RR. For comparison, prod.cts are also characterized.by online gas chromatography in a H-cell. The as-synthesized.Cu-nC catalysts are found.to be active and.highly CO selective at low overpotentials(from -0.6 to -0.8 v ***) in 0.1 M KHCO_(3), while H_(2) from the competitive water red.ction appears at larger overpotentials(-0.9 v vs. RHE). The optimum copper acetate-d.rived.catalyst containing Cu-n_(4) moieties exhibits a CO_(2)-to-CO turnover frequency of 997 h^(-1) at -0.9 v vs. RHE with a H_(2)/CO ratio of 1.8. These results d.monstrate that RRd. configuration can be used.as a feasible approach for id.ntifying electrolysis prod.cts from CO_(2)RR.
