Despite a record setting number of heart transplants performed annually,the national donor shortage continues to plague transplant teams across the United *** we describe the barriers to adaptation of numerous“non-traditional”orthotopic heart transplant donor characteristics including donors with hepatitis C virus,those meeting criteria for donation after cardiac death,donors with coronavirus disease 19 infection,donors with the human immunodeficiency virus,and grafts with left ventricular systolic *** center’s objective was to increase our transplant volume by expanding our donor pool from“traditional”donors to these“non-traditional”*** detail how medical advances such as certain laboratory studies,pharmacologic interventions,and organ care systems have allowed our center to expand the donor pool thereby increasing transplantation volume without adverse effects on outcomes.

Monitoring changes in Annual Net Primary Productivity(ANPP)is required for reporting on UN Sustainable Development Goal(SDG)Indicator 15.3.1:the proportion of land that is degraded over the total land *** time-series observations of ANPP to derive Water Use Efficiency(WUE;a measure of ANPP per unit of evapotranspiration)can minimize the influence of climate factors on ANPP observations and highlight the influence of non-climatic drivers of degradation such as land use *** the ANPP and WUE time series may be useful for identifying the primary drivers of land degradation,which could be used to support the Land Degradation Neutrality objectives of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification(UNCCD).This paper presents an algorithm for the Google Earth Engine(freely and openly available upon request-http://***/10.5281/zenodo.4429773)to calculate and compare ANPP and WUE time series for Santa Cruz,Bolivia,which has recently experienced an intensification in its land *** code builds on the Good Practice Guidance document(ver-sion 1)for monitoring SDG Indicator *** use the MODIS 16-day average,250 m resolution to demonstrate that the Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI)responds faster to changes in water avail-ability than the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI).We also consider the relationships between ANPP and *** and concordant trends may highlight good agricultural practices or increased resilience in ecosystem structure and productivity when they are positive or reducing resilience and functional integrity if *** sign and significance of the correlation between ANPP and WUE may also diverge over *** further analysis,it may be possible to interpret this relationship in terms of the drivers of change in plant productivity and ecosystem resilience.

Ovarian cancer is the second most lethal gynecological cancer worldwide and while most patients respond to initial therapy, they often relapse with resistant disease. Human epidermal growth factor receptors(especially HER1/EGFR and HER2/ERBB2) are involved in disease progression; hence, strategies to inhibit their action could prove advantageous in ovarian cancer patients,especially in patients resistant to first line therapy. Monoclonal antibodies and tyrosine kinase inhibitors are two classes of drugs that act on these receptors. They have demonstrated valuable antitumor activity in multiple cancers and their possible use in ovarian cancer continues to be studied. In this review, we discuss the human epidermal growth factor receptor family; review emerging clinical studies on monoclonal antibodies and tyrosine kinase inhibitors targeting these receptors in ovarian cancer patients; and propose future research possibilities in this area.

Background:Injuries to the hamstring are relatively common in professional cricketers(as they are in many team sports) and have increased in incidence in the "T20 era"(introduction of 20-over matches) of cricket since ***:This study analyzed incidence of hamstring injury in the various elite male match types over a 20-year period(1995–1996 to 2014–2015seasons).Risk factors for hamstring strain were assessed using a multivariate logistic regression analysis ***:There were 276 match time-loss hamstring injuries recorded over a 20-year period at the Australian state or national player level,of which170 occurred in one of 40,145 player match *** overall rate of match onset rate was 22.5 hamstring injuries per 1000 team *** bowling onset injuries were the highest subcategory at a rate of 10.9 injuries per 1000 team days,although batting onset injuries were particularly common in 50-over(one day) international *** risk factors in logistic regression analysis,in addition to hamstring injury history,were being a fast bowler relative risk(RR) 2.5(95% confidence interval(CI):1.3–4.5) and playing a match in Australia RR 2.3(95%CI:1.3–3.9).Conclusion:Fast bowlers suffer more hamstring injuries than other playing roles in cricket,particularly in First Class(multi-day) *** are more likely to get injured in 50-over(one day) *** in Australia(compared to overseas venues) leads to increased risk of hamstring injury.

BACKGROUND： Gastrointestinal disorders are common complaints for which endoscopy and colonoscopy are the most important diagnostic procedures. Anxiety is an unpleasant, ambiguous feeling of apprehension and fear of unknown origin that occurs during stressful situations or injury. Lack of sufficient information and fear of pain can cause anxiety prior to a colonoscopy, reducing the number of patients willing to undergo the procedure and increasing colonoscopy time. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of psychological preparation on anxiety before colonoscopy in patients presenting to Golestan Hospital during the years 1994 and 1995. MATERIAL and METHODS： This study was a double-blind clinical trial of patients presenting to the colonoscopy unit in Golestan Hospital in 1994 and 1995. A total of 80 patients were divided into two groups： intervention and control. A primary assessment of anxiety was performed using Spielberger＇s State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. Before the colonoscopy, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory was completed by the patients again. The effectiveness of psychological preparation before colonoscopy and its effect on anxiety were evaluated using statistical software SPSS 20. RESULTS： The mean age of participants was 46.33 ±12.2 years in the intervention group and 44.8±12.26 years in the control group. In this study, there were 41 males （51.3%） and 39 females （48.7%）; 15 patients （18.7%） were single and the rest married. In terms of demographic variables, there were no significant differences between the two groups （p 〉 0.05）. The average scores of state and trait anxiety in the intervention group showed a statistically significant difference before and after the intervention （p = 0.000）. CONCLUSION： Trait and state anxiety levels after psychological preparation showed a statistically significant reduction. This indicates the effectiveness of intervention programs to reduce anxiety before colonoscopy.
