According to Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer recommendations,intermediate stage hepatocellular carcinomas(stage B)are excluded from liver resection and are referred to palliative ***,Child-Pugh B patients are not usually candidates for liver ***,many hepatobiliary centers in the world manage patients with intermediate stage hepatocellular carcinoma or Child-Pugh B cirrhosis with liver resection,maintaining that hepatic resection is not contraindicated in selected patients with non–early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma and without normal liver *** studies demonstrate that resection provides the best survival benefit for selected patients in very early/early and even in intermediate stages of Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer classification,and this treatment gives good results in the setting of multinodular,large tumors in patients with portal hypertension and/or Child-Pugh B *** this review we explore this controversial topic,and we show through the literature analysis how liver resection may improve the short-and long-term survival rate of carefully selected Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer B and Child-Pugh B hepatocellular carcinoma ***,other large clinical studies are needed to clarify which patients with intermediate stage hepatocellular carcinoma are most likely to benefit from liver resection.

The present study has been conducted to contribute,once and for all,filling the lack of structural information for the whole class of rare earth(RE)carbonates owning the tengerite-(Y)structure.A complete structural characterization,carried out by Rietveld refinement of X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)data,was comparatively performed for the first time on several hydrated RE carbonates,having the general chemical formula RE_(2)(CO_(3))_(3)·χH_(2)O,RE=Y,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho and *** samples share the same space group and lattice parameters similar to tengerite-(Y);the structures are also closely related,consisting in all cases of a three-dimensional framework of nine-fold coordinated RE atom polyhedral,linked together by carbonate *** addition to relatively minor changes in fractional coordinates of atom sites and corresponding interatomic distances,the only perceivable difference lies in the lattice parameters affected by the ionic radius of RE^(3+).However,in the case of Er,which has the lowest cationic radius among the analyzed RE,the stabilization of tengerite structure is at its limit condition,because the carbonate groups are heavily ***,FT-IR and Raman spectra confirm the main structural features obtained by Rietveld *** observed morphology of the various samples is almost the same,being characterized by the presence of bidimensional rod-like particles grouped in agglomerates,typical of tengerite crystals,thus indicating that the crystallization mechanism occurring during the hydrothermal synthesis is the same,irrespective of the involved RE cation.

充分利用配电网的自身潜在资源,合理优化利用配电网信道的特性使配电网通信系统的整体性能达到最优是提高配电网多用户通信系统性能的有效途径。该文定义了同时利用配电网三相电路进行通信的典型多用户矢量信道-MA、BC和IC信道。给出了矢量信道的描述模型和将其化为标量信道的方法。给出了一种以平均比特率之和最大为优化目标的矢量信道动态频谱优化分配算法。基于信道测量的归一化模型,应用该算法计算了MA、BC信道采用OFDM通信时的比特率和输入功率分配。利用三相电力线同时传输多用户信号的思想和矢量信道动态频谱分配算法为配电网多用户通信提供了一种新的解决方案。

The Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy is by far known to be a useful technique for qualitative and quantitative analysis of asbestos in bulk samples, since all asbestos species exhibit intense absorption peaks in the 4000 - 400 cm-1 region of the infrared spectrum. In the present work, we compare the accuracy and precision of two analytical procedures (the Linear Calibration Curve Method and the Method of Addition) for the quantitative determination of asbestos in a host matrix. We have found that, providing careful samples preparation, both techniques quantify the asbestos content at the level of few micrograms with good precision. Due to less expensive equipment requirements and shorter analysis time, FT-IR can be a competitive analytical technique in the characterization of asbestos containing material with the respect to diffractometry or electron microscopy.
