In order to mimic hierarchical nanostructures in nature,particles of polymer blends consisting of poly(4-butyltriphenylamine)(PBTPA),poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)and PBTPA-block-PMMA were fabricated by a solvent evaporation *** of the molecular weight and the chemical composition of PBTPA-b-PMMA,molecular weights of homopolymers,and the composition of the blend on the morphology were *** polymer blend particle consisting of PBTPA and PMMA homopolymers exhibited thermodynamically favored core-shell structure,in which more hydrophilic PMMA-shell surrounded *** addition of 10 wt%of PBTPA-b-PMMA caused the morphological transition from core-shell toJanus or inversed core-shell,in which PBTPA-shell surrounded PMMA-core,depending on the molecular weight of PBTPA segment in *** the molecular weight of PMMA segment was higher than that of PMMA homopolymer,watermelon-like particles in which small PBTPA domain less than 80 nm dispersed in the PMMA domain surrounded by PBTPA shell were *** the ratio of PBTPA-b-PMMA increased,the interface of the macrophase separation became *** 50 wt%of the PBTPA-b-PMMA,only microphase separation was *** measurement of interfacial tension by pendant drop method demonstrated that PBTPA-b-PMMA lower the interfacial tension between PBTPA and the aqueous phase to the value similar to that of PMMA with the aqueous phase.

This paper described the use of fy ash for soil amelioration of acidic soils to promote plant *** mining sites,acid sulfate soils/rocks,which contain sulfde minerals(*** FeS_(2)),have appeared as a result of overburden *** excessively acidic condition inhibits plant growth due to the dissolution of harmful elements,such as Al,Fe,and *** ash,an alkaline byproduct of coal combustion generated in thermal power plants is expected to be adopted to ameliorate acidic ***,the mixing ratio of fy ash must be considered because excessive addition of fy ash can have a negative impact on plant growth due to its physical/chemical *** pot trials using Acacia mangium demonstrate the evolution of plant growth with a 5%–10%addition of fy ash into acidic *** the acidic soil has a high potential for metal dissolution,the metal ions leached from the acidic soil are large,making it difcult to improve plant growth due to osmotic and ionic *** work suggests that the efects of fy ash on metal ions leached from the soil have to be considered for the amelioration of acidic soil.

Atezolizumab plus bevacizumab is currently the main choice of first-line treatment for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),which has been proven superior to sorafenib for overall survival(OS)and progression-free survival(PFS)in the phase III IMbrave150 trial(1).Up-data analysis from IMbrave150 showed that the median OS was 19.2 months for atezolizumab plus bevacizumab and 13.4 months for sorafenib[hazard ratio(HR)=0.66;95%confidence interval(CI):0.52-0.85;P=0.0009],and the median PFS was 6.9 and 4.3 months(HR=0.65;95%CI:0.53-0.81;P=0.0001)(2).

The friction characteristics of a shock absorber are very complex because the reciprocating motion is not always *** this study,a device was developed and used to analyze the dynamic friction characteristics under various reciprocating sliding conditions to determine the sliding materials and hydraulic oils that improve the shock absorber *** study describes the influence of hydraulic oil additive on the fine reciprocating friction characteristics of steel and copper *** oils were prepared by blending a paraffinic mineral oil with zinc dithiophosphate(ZnDTP)and polyhydric alcohol ester as *** results show that the dynamic frictional characteristics vary mainly depending on the additive concentration.A specific additive formulation induces a unique amplitude-dependent friction *** addition,the influence of different additives on the lubrication mechanism is investigated based on the instrumental analysis of the friction surface.

Recognizing the position of moving objects, facilities or important equipments has been regarded as a hot issue in the future environment which needs ubiquitous characteristics. Furthermore, it is indispensably needed to acquire location data in order to realize an infrastructure of sensor network system. Namely, distance data are the preliminary information to complete localization of a moving object in local area. Even though there have been several researches on this topic, there are however still much amount of problems in getting precisely exact distance data. Out of them, the research on using TOF (Time-of-flight) is very few as well as could be thought of as a cutting-edge technique. Moreover, it is very difficult to get minutely RF signal's TOF for getting short distance data; that is, very complicated signal processing skills are requested for realizing it. In this paper, we present a new methodology of RF short ranging technique based on vernier effect through using of heterogeneous operating clocks.
