位于中国西风区新疆伊犁盆地黄土与古土壤样品的常量元素分析表明 ,其烧失量和SiO2 含量与样品的碳酸盐含量正相关。黄土与古土壤SiO2 含量没有明显差别 ,但Al、、Fe、Mn和K在古土壤中发生一定的分异 ,代表了相对强的成壤作用。与黄土高原相比 ,伊犁盆地末次间冰期古土壤富钛、铁、锰、镁和钙 (个别样品除外 ) ,而黄土高原S1更加贫钠和钾 ,而且钙含量很低 ;末次冰期黄土富锰、镁和钙 ,贫钠和钾 ,而黄土高原L1以富钙贫钠、钾为特征。常量元素地球化学行为揭示 ,伊犁黄土与古土壤较黄土高原同期黄土与古土壤形成于更加干旱的气候环境中。

There are important requirements for the adoption of innovative practices in the medical area. In this context, Personal Health Records have been proposed and some services have already been launched. However so far, there have been only a few studies in regards to applying Cloud architecture for PHR, despite the occurrence of a large volume of data. In particular, the existing studies tend to remain at applying them partly, instead of a full adoption based on the architectural characteristics of the service models. In this paper, we clarify the result of the general architecture design by applying the Cloud components for supporting healthcare record areas and highlight the required conditions to realize it. Through the proposed considerations the requirement for the new techniques of query processing has been identified as one of the critical factors, that are combined with several items such as managing semantic interoperability, managing service level agreement and secret sharing, Accordingly, we propose the primary work for building the standardized, detailed and more sophisticated architecture.

Solution of the Time Dependent Schrodinger Equation and the Advection Equation via Quantum Walk with Variable Parameters

We propose a solution method of Time Dependent Schr?dinger Equation (TDSE) and the advection equation by quantum walk/quantum cellular automaton with spatially or temporally variable parameters. Using numerical method, we establish the quantitative relation between the quantum walk with the space dependent parameters and the “Time Dependent Schr?dinger Equation with a space dependent imaginary diffusion coefficient” or “the advection equation with space dependent velocity fields”. Using the 4-point-averaging manipulation in the solution of advection equation by quantum walk, we find that only one component can be extracted out of two components of left-moving and right-moving solutions. In general it is not so easy to solve an advection equation without numerical diffusion, but this method provides perfectly diffusion free solution by virtue of its unitarity. Moreover our findings provide a clue to find more general space dependent formalisms such as solution method of TDSE with space dependent resolution by quantum walk.

This study analyzes the management of wastewater pollutants in a number of Chinese industrial sectors from 1998 to 2010. We use decomposition analysis to calculate changes in wastewater pollutant emissions that result from cleaner production processes, end-of-pipe treatment, structural changes in industry, and changes in the scale of production. We focus on one indicator of water quality and three pollutants: chemical oxygen demand (COD), petroleum, cyanide, and volatile phenols. We find that until 2002, COD emissions were mainly reduced through end-of-pipe treatments. Cleaner production processes didn’t begin contributing to COD emissions reductions until the introduction of a 2003 law that enforced their implementation. Petroleum emissions were primarily lowered through cleaner production mechanisms, which have the added benefit of reducing the input cost of intermediate petroleum. Diverse and effective pollution abatement strategies for cyanide and volatile phenols are emerging among industries in China. It will be important for the government to consider differences between industries should they choose to regulate the emissions of specific chemical substances.

Correlation of Various Foods Intakes and Plasma Levels of Omega Fatty Acids in Healthy Japanese Old Men

Background: Trans fatty acids are considered to impair health and some ω fatty acids are protective against atherosclerosis and diabetes mellitus. Trans fatty acids are said to be formed by the partial hydrogenation of vegetable oils. Some amounts are produced in digestive organs of ruminants and present in dairy products or meat. It is important how much these intaken fatty acids influence their plasma levels. Methods: Plasma levels of fatty acids including transforms of healthy old men are measured by gas chromatography and correlations between various foods intakes and plasma levels of trans fatty acids, and ω fatty acids are examined. Results: Intake of fish resulted in increase in plasma levels of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) but intake of meat such as beef, cow and chicken meat did not increase plasma levels of arachidonic acid (AA). Intakes of oils increased plasma levels of dihomo-g-linolenic acid significantly and AA to some extent. Conclusion: Plasma levels of EPA and DHA increased upon intakes of fish in Japanese old men. Oil intake but not meat intake increased DGLA significantly. These results may explain low incidence of cardiovascular diseases in Japanese people compared with American people whose plasma levels of DHA and EPA are lower.

Is biliary bile acid a good predictor for acute cellular rejection in living donor liver transplantation?

BACKGROUND:In liver transplantation,acute cellular rejection(ACR)is still a major complication that can lead to *** secretion has been considered as a marker of early graft function. METHODS:The study included 41 adults who received living donor liver transplantation(LDLT)at Kyoto University Hospital between April 2007 and February 2008. The patients were stratified according to the presence or absence of *** samples were collected from donors once and from recipients every other day for the first 2 weeks after *** bile acid(BA)and taurine-conjugated bile acid(TCBA)in bile were measured by magnetic resonance *** recipient/donor (R/D)BA ratio and R/D TCBA ratio were calculated. RESULTS:The ACR group(n=12)showed a greater decrease in BA post-transplantation than the non-ACR group,but this difference was not statistically significant. On both day 7 and day 9 post-transplantation the R/D TCBA was significantly different between the two groups (P=0.038 on day 7 and P=0.036 on day 9).The R/D TCBA ratio≥0.5 on days 7 and 9,and≥0.38 on day 11 post- transplantation were associated with better ACR-free survival. CONCLUSION:The recipient/donor TCBA ratio can be a predictor for ACR after LDLT as early as post- transplantation day 7.

Objective: Clozapine is regarded as the most effective drug for treatment of schizophrenia but has complex adverse effects associated with hyperglycemia and diabetes mellitus. Method: We report that clozapine was very effective to treat positive, negative, and cognitive symptoms and well tolerated to a treatment-resistant schizophrenia patient with severe type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) under cautious blood-sugar monitoring. Results: Clozapine itself and discontinuation of other psychotropic and anticholinergic agents after switching may improve cognitive function and adherence to the treatment regimens for schizophrenia and DM. Conclusion: Clozapine can be administered to treatment-resistant schizophrenia patients even with severe DM with caution.

BACKGROUND In patients with large stones in the common bile duct(CBD),advanced treatment modalities are generally ***,we present an interesting case of a huge CBD stone treated with electrohydraulic lithotripsy(EHL)by the percutaneous approach and rendezvous endoscopic retrograde cholangiography(ERC)using a nasal *** SUMMARY A 91-year-old woman underwent ERC for a symptomatic large CBD stone with a diameter of 50 *** was referred to our institution after the failure of lithotomy by ERC,and after undergoing percutaneous transhepatic biliary *** attempted to fragment the stone by transhepatic cholangioscopy using ***,the stones were too large and partly soft clay-like for ***,we attempted lithotomy with ERC and cholangioscopy by the rendezvous technique using a nasal endoscope and achieved complete *** complication was observed at the end of this *** Cholangioscopy by rendezvous technique using a nasal endoscope is a feasible and safe endoscopic method for removing huge CBD stones.
