Mean King’s problem is formulated as a retrodiction problem among noncommutative observables. In this paper, we reformulate Mean King’s problem using Shannon’s entropy as a first step of introducing quantum uncertainty relation with delayed classical information. As a result, we give informational and statistical meanings to the estimation on Mean King problem. As its application, we give an alternative proof of nonexistence of solutions of Mean King’s problem for qubit system without using entanglement.

A Novel Quaternion Design Construction For STBC

On the Security of Quantum Key Distribution Ping-Pong Protocol

In this paper,several investigations have been performed for solving the open problem that if small quaternion orthogonal design can be used to build larger *** so called coordinate interleaved orthogonal designs（CIODs） are generalized into quaternion in the paper,and consequently it introduces a new construction technique for 4n × 4m rectangular matrices whose elements are quaternion variables based on any existing n×m quaternion orthogonal design for Space-Time Block Codes（STBCs）.Analysis shows that maximum likelihood（ML） decoding can be applied for this design with reduced complexity,and the design reaches full *** examples,8 × 8 quaternion designs are constructed.

Computational based cryptography might not guarantee long term security if computational algorithms, computers, and so on are made remarkable progress. Therefore, quantum cryptography with unconditionally security attracts attention. In this paper, we consider security of a two-way quantum key distribution protocol, so called Ping-Pong protocol. As a result, we introduce not only robustness but also a different information disturbance theorem, which denotes a trade-off relationship between information gain for an eavesdropper and error rate, from the related works for an attack model.

Trehalose is a non-reducing disaccharide that is present in diverse organisms ranging from bacteria and fungi to invertebrates, in which it serves as an energy source, osmolyte or protein/membrane protectant. The occurrence of trehalose and trehalose biosynthesis pathway in plants has been discovered recently. Multiple studies have revealed regulatory roles of trehalose-6-phosphate, a precursor of trehalose, in sugar metabolism, growth and development in plants. Trehalose levels are generally quite low in plants but may alter in response to environmental stresses. Transgenic plants overexpressing microbial trehalose biosynthesis genes have been shown to contain increased levels of trehalose and display drought, salt and cold tolerance. In-silico expression profiling of all Arabidopsis trehalose-6-phosphate synthases （TPSs） and trehalose-6-phosphate phosphatases （TPPs） revealed that certain classes of TPS and TPP genes are differentially regulated in response to a variety of abiotic stresses. These studies point to the importance of trehalose biosynthesis in stress responses.

The interactions of CD4^(+)T cells and B cells are fundamental for the generation of protective antibody responses,as well as for the development of harmful autoimmune *** studies of human tissues and blood samples have established a new subset of CD4^(+)B helper T cells named peripheral helper T(Tph)*** T follicular helper(Tfh)cells,which interact with B cells within lymphoid organs,Tph cells provide help to B cells within inflamed *** cells share many B helper-associated functions with Tfh cells and induce B cell differentiation toward antibody-producing *** differentiation mechanism is also partly shared between Tph and Tfh cells in humans,and both Tfh and Tph cells can be found within the same tissues,including cancer ***,Tph cells display features distinct from those of Tfh cells,such as the expression of chemokine receptors associated with Tph cell localization within inflamed tissues and a low Bd-6/Blimp1 *** that of Tfh cells,current evidence shows that the target of Tph cells is limited to memory B *** this review,we first summarize recent findings on human Tph cells and discuss how Tph and Tfh cells play shared and distinct roles in human diseases.

The effect of titanium addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of brass Cu4OZn has been studied via the powder metallurgy （P/M） route. The water-atomized Cu4OZn-1.0 wt% Ti alloy powder was consolidated at different temperatures in the range of 400-600℃ using spark plasma sintering （SPS） and hot extrusion subsequently. Results show that the super-saturated solid solution titanium element in rapidly cooled brass Cu4OZn powder created high chemical potential for a precipitate reaction, showing significant grain refinement effects on the consolidated Cu4OZn matrix. Consequently, excellent mechanical properties were obtained by precipitation hardening and work hardening after sintering and extrusion, with yield strength of 390 MPa, ultimate tensile strength of 617 MPa, and Vickers micro-hardness of 192 HV, which are 28.7%, 23.4%, and 23.9% higher values than those of extruded Cu4OZn brass, respectively.

A floating type pendulum wave energy converter(FPWEC) with a rotary vane pump as the power take-off system was proposed by Watabe et *** *** showed that this device had high energy conversion *** the previous research,the authors conducted 2D wave tank tests in regular waves to evaluate the generating efficiency of FPWEC with a power take-off system composed of pulleys,belts and a *** a result,the influence of the electrical load on the generating efficiency was ***,the load characteristics of FPWEC are pursued experimentally by using the servo motors to change the damping coefficient in this *** a later part of this paper,the motions of the model with the servo motors are compared with that of the case with the same power take-off system as the previous *** the above experiment,it may be concluded that the maximum primary conversion efficiency is achieved as high as 98%at the optimal load.
