Aim:To determine whether in utero and neonatal exposure to a 60 Hz extremely low frequency electromagnetic field (EMF) results in spermatotoxicity and reproductive dysfunction in the F1 offspring of ***:Age-matched, pregnant sprague-Dawley rats were exposed continuously (21 h/day) to a 60 Hz EMF at field strengths of 0 (sham control),5,83.3 or 500 μT from day 6 of gestation through to day 21 of *** experimentally generated magnetic field was monitored continuously (uninterrupted monitoring over the period of the study) throughout the ***:No exposure-related changes were found in exposed or sham-exposed animals with respect to the anogenital distance,preputial separation,testis weight,testicular histology,sperm count,daily sperm production, sperm motility,sperm morphology and reproductive capacity of F1 ***:Exposure of sprague- Dawley rats to a 60 Hz EMF at field strengths of up to 500 μT from day 6 of gestation to day 21 of lactation did not produce any detectable alterations in offspring spermatogenesis and fertility.

Recently, there has been a rapid development in computer technology, which has in turn led to develop the fully robotic welding system using artificial intelligence （Ai） technology. However, the robotic welding system has not been achieved due to difficulties of the mathematical model and sensor technologies. The possibilities of the fuzzy regression method to predict the bead geometry, such as bead width, bead height, bead penetration and bead area in the robotic GMA （gas metal arc） welding process is presented. The approach, a well-known method to deal with the problems with a high degree of fuzziness, is used to build the relationship between four process variables and the four quality characteristics, respectively. Using these models, the proper prediction of the process variables for obtaining the optimal bead geometry can be determined.

MD (molecular dynamics) simulations have been performed to observe the behavior of a grain boundary in the α-Fe plate under 2-dimensional loading. in MD simulation, the acceleration of every molecule can be achieved from the potential energy and the force interaction between this molecule and other molecules , and the integration of the motion equation by using Verlet method gives the displacement of each molecule. initially, four α-Fe rectangular plates having different misorientation angles of the grain boundary are modeled by using the Johnson potential and the Morse potential. The potential energy of the grain boundary system is compared with that of the perfect structure model. Also, the width of the grain boundary can be obtained by investigating the local potential energy distribution. The tensile loading for each grain boundary model is applied and the behavior of the grain boundary is studied. From this study it is clarified that in the case of using the Johnson potential, the obvious fracture mechanism occurs along the grain boundary, and in the case of using the Morse potential, the diffusion of the grain boundary appears instead of the grain boundary fracture.

Cellulose is a renewable biomass material and natural polymer which is abundantly available on Earth,and includes agricultural wastes,forestry residues,and woody *** excellent and smart characteristics of cellulose materials,such as lightweight,biocompatibility,biodegradability,high mechanical strength/stiffness and low thermal expansibility,have made cellulose a highpotential material for various industry *** has recently been discovered as a smart material in the electroactive polymers family which carries the name of cellulose-based electroactive paper(EAPap).The shear piezoelectricity in cellulose polymers is able to induce large displacement output,low actuation voltage,and low power consumption in the application of biomimetic sensors/actuators and electromechanical *** present study provides an overview of biomass pretreatment from various lignocellulosic cellulose(LC)resources and nanocellulose production via TEMPO-mediated oxidation reaction,followed by the production of different types of EAPap versus its performance,and lastly the applications of EAPap in different areas and ***,LC biomass consists mainly of cellulose having a small content of hemicelluloses and lignins which form a defensive inner structure against the degradation of plant cell ***,selective approaches are discussed to ensure proper extraction of cellulosic fibers from complex biomass for further minimization to *** addition,a comprehensive review of the development of cellulose-based EAPap as well as fabrication,characterization,performance enhancement and applications of EAPap devices are discussed herein.

Growing evidence suggests close associations between periodontitis and *** further understand the pathological relationships of these associations,we developed periodontitis with ligature placement around maxillary molars or ligature placement in conjunction with Porphyromonas gingivalis lipopolysaccharide injection at the ligature sites (ligature/***) in Apolipoprotein E knock out mice and studied the atherogenesis process in these *** mice were fed with high fat diet for 11 weeks and sacrificed for analyzing periodontitis,systemic inflammation,and *** did not develop periodontitis or systemic inflammation and had minimal lipid deposition in the aortas,but mice receiving ligature or ligature/*** showed severe periodontitis,systemic inflammation,and aortic plaque *** aortic plaque contained abundant macrophages and cells expressing both endothelial and mesenchymal cell *** severity of periodontitis was slightly higher in mice receiving ligature/*** than ligature alone,and the magnitude of systemic inflammation and aortic plaque formation were also notably greater in the mice with ligature/*** observations indicate that the development of atherosclerosis is due to systemic inflammation caused by severe *** vitro,*** enhanced the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines from macrophages and increased the adhesion of monocytes to endothelial cells by upregulating the expression of adhesion molecules from endothelial ***,secretory proteins,such as TNF-α,from macrophages induced endothelial–mesenchymal transitions of the endothelial *** together,systemic inflammation induced by severe periodontitis might exacerbate atherosclerosis via,in part,causing aberrant functions of vascular endothelial cells and the activation of macrophages in mice.

Commercial purity Ti was subjected to channel die compression in liquid nitrogen for the purpose of studying its deformation characteristics from the viewpoint of the grain refinement induced by severe plastic *** specimens showed microstructural heterogeneity in that the initial blocky grains of about 50 urn in size turned into a mixture of the easily deforming soft grains and the hard grains revealing local concentration of dislocations and deformation *** electron back scattered diffraction analysis the in-grain misorientation-axis distribution was studied,from which it was found that the deformation heterogeneity resulted from the anisotropy of individual grains with respect to the compression die:while the soft grains were those oriented favorably for the prismslip,the hard ones were oriented for non-prism slips and deformation *** difference in the response of individual grains,therefore,led to a remarkable effect of the crystal texture of specimens on the maximum strain that can be imposed on specimens without *** on the present results,a way to achieve expedient grain refinement through the cryogenic plane-strain compression was suggested.

The effect of wheel speed on microstructures of Ti-48%Ni (mole fraction) melt-spun ribbons was investigated by X-ray diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. When the wheel speed is 26 and 42 m/s, the as-spun ribbons are completely crystallized to the Ti-Ni B2 phase. The Ti-rich plate precipitates lying on {100} planes are observed in the as-spun ribbon fabricated with a wheel speed of 26 m/s. The spherical Ti2Ni precipitates are observed at grain boundaries in the as-spun ribbons fabricated with a wheel speed of 42 m/s. Amorphous and B2 phases coexist in the as-spun ribbon fabricated with a wheel speed of 52 m/s. The uniformity of grain size in heat treated ribbons decreases with increasing wheel speed.

The microstructural features, shape memory behavior and mechanical properties of Ni-Mn based alloys were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry （DsC）, scanning electron microscopy （sEM）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM） and thermal cycling test under various stresses. The transformation temperatures shifted toward lower temperatures when adding a third element into the Ni-Mn system. The addition of 10 at. pct Fe increased considerably the mechanical properties exhibiting still high transformation temperatures. However, it was found that in NiMn40Fe10 alloy the martensitic transformation is not thermoelastic in nature. The mechanism of this transformation and the crystallography of Ni-Mn（50-x）-Fex （x=5, 7, 10, 20 at. pct） alloys are presented.

A two-qubit system in quantum information theory is the simplest bipartite quantum system and its concurrence for pure and mixed states is well *** a subset of two-qubit systems,Bell-diagonal states can be depicted by a very simple geometrical representation of a tetrahedron with sides of length 2√*** on this geometric representation,we propose a simple approach to randomly generate four mixed Bell decomposable states in which the sum of their concurrence is equal to one.
