Phosphorus is one of the key elements,which determined the emergence of primordial life on our *** source of prebiotic phosphorus was most likely to be easily soluble compounds containing phosphorus in the negative form of oxidation(e.g.,phosphides).The present paper is the first thorough i.v.stigation of phosphide-bearing mineral assemblages confined to telluric(terrestrial)native iron from volcanic rocks of Disko island,*** speciation in given assemblages varies from the solid solution in native iron(up to 0.3 wt.%P),different phosphides–schreibersite Fe_(3)P,nickelphosphide Ni_(3)P,barringerite Fe_(2)P,and phosphates,including fluorapatite,anhydrous Fe-Na phosphates,phosphoran olivine and pyroxene(up to 1 wt.%P).The diversity of observed phosphorus speciation can be explained by the steep changes of redox conditions during subsurface crystallization of iron-phosphide-bearing *** on the available data on likely redox conditions on the early Earth,we hypothesize that reactive prebiotic phosphorus may have originated from shallow crustal rocks.

Many studies propose a significant shift in the tectonic and paleogeographic evolution of the Andes in south-central Chile and Argentina during the Late *** has been proposed that the preceding Jurassic-Early Cretaceous extensional regime that resulted in a low-relief volcanic arc and the backarc Neuquén basin came to an end,giving way to shortening and Andean growth from the Late Cretaceous ***,there are disagreements regarding the timing and nature of this transition to Andean *** address these issues,we conducted geochronologic(U-Pb and^(40)Ar/&(39)Ar),sedimentologic,and structural studies on Mesozoic-Cenozoic sedimentary and volcanic rocks in the Río Maule area(Principal Cordillera,Chile,36°s).From our findings and prior analyses,we propose the following tectono-stratigraphic evolution of the region.(1)Marine deposition of the Tithonian-Hauterivian Baños del Flaco Formation took place in an extensional backarc basin.(2)After a~40 Myr hiatus,fluvial deposits of the Colimapu Formation and volcanic rocks of the Plan de los Yeuques Formation accumulated during the *** the Colimapu Formation displays evidence of syndepositional shortening,the Plan de los Yeuques Formation exhibits synextensional growth *** to other studies,our results suggest that the Chilean part of the Principal Cordillera was largely a zone of active deposition rather than an elevated fold-thrust belt during the Late *** propose that sedimentation occurred within a series of relatively stable intermontane subbasins generated by shortening,followed by extension.(3)After a~20 Myr hiatus,middle Eocene to early Miocene(Lutetian-Aquitanian)accumulation of a thick succession of andesitic lavas and minor clastic sediments of the Abanico Formation occurred in an intraarc extensional basin.(4)Finally,major shortening and uplift of previously deposited Mesozoic-Cenozoic rocks took place throughout the *** phase constitu

Metabolic engineering and synthetic biology endeavors benefit from promoters that perform consistently(or robustly)with respect to cellular growth phase(exponential and stationary)and fermentation scale(microtiter plates,tubes,flasks,and bioreactors).However,nearly all endogenous promoters(especially in saccharomyces cerevisiae)do not perform in this *** this work,a hybrid promoter engineering strategy is leveraged to create novel synthetic promoters with robustness across these *** a multi-dimensional RNA-seq dataset,promoters with specific phase dependencies were *** enriched with functional transcription factors were identified using MEME *** motif-containing fragments could impart activity dependence in the opposing ***,we obtain two new promoters with high and consistent expression across both phases by increasing the exponential phase activity of the starting stationary-phase scaffold by 38 and 23-fold ***,we show that these promoters function consistently across various laboratory growth scales over time in a microtiter plate and in ***,this work presents and validates a new strategy for engineering promoters in *** with high levels of expression that are robust to cellular growth phase and the scale of the culture.

The heat transfer through a concave permeable fin is analyzed by the local thermal non-equilibrium(LTNE)*** governing dimensional temperature equations for the solid and fluid phases of the porous extended surface are modeled,and then are nondimensionalized by suitable dimensionless ***,the obtained nondimensional equations are solved by the clique polynomial method(CPM).The effects of several dimensionless parameters on the fin's thermal profiles are shown by graphical ***,the current study implements deep neural structures to solve physics-governed coupled equations,and the best-suited hyperparameters are attained by comparison with various network *** results of the CPM and physicsinformed neural network(PiNN)exhibit good agreement,signifying that both methods effectively solve the thermal modeling problem.

A spectral analysis of the vertical positions and velocities of 374 open star clusters(OsCs)was carried *** took these OsCs from the Hunt and Reffert catalog;they have an average age of about 10 million years,and are located on the galactic plane XY in a narrow zone inclined by 25°to the galactic axis *** following estimates of the parameters of the Radcliffe wave were obtained:(a)the maximum value in periodic perturbations of vertical coordinates Z_(max)=92±10pc with the wavelength of these perturbations λ_(z)=4.82±0.09 kpc;(b)the maximum value of the velocity of vertical disturbances Wmax=4.36±0.12km s^(-1) with disturbance wavelengthλ_(W)=1.78±0.02 *** that the results of the vertical velocity analysis are first-class in accuracy and completely new.

Magnetic films with low Gilbert damping are crucial for magnonic devices,which provide a promising platform forrealizing ultralow-energy *** this study,low Gilbert damping and coercive field were observed in Bi/in-dopedyttrium iron garnet(Biin:YiG)thin *** Biin:YiG(444)films were deposited onto different substrates using pulsedlaser *** coercivity(ith saturation magnetization of 125.09 emu/cc was achi.v.d along the in-planedirection of Biin:YiG *** values of Gilbert damping and inhomogeneous broadening of ferromagnetic resonance inBiin:YiG films were obtained to be as low as 4.05×10^(-4)and 5.62 Oe,*** addition to low damping,the giantFaraday rotation angles(up to 2.9×10^(4)deg/cm)were also observed in the Biin:YiG *** modifying the magneticstructure and coupling effect between Bi^(3+)and Fe^(3+)of Bi:YiG,doped in^(3+)plays a key role on variation of the *** low damping and giant Faraday effect made the Biin:YiG film an appealing candidate for magnonic andmagneto-optical devices.

The Ti−45Nb(wt.%)alloy properties were i.v.stigated in relation to its potential biomedical *** surface modification was utilized to improve its performance in biological *** a result of the laser treatment,(Ti,Nb)O scale was formed and various morphological features appeared on the alloy *** electrochemical behavior of Ti−45Nb alloy in simulated body conditions was evaluated and showed that the alloy was highly resistant to corrosion deterioration regardless of additional laser surface modification ***,the improved corrosion resistance after laser treatment was evident(the corrosion current density of the alloy before laser irradiation was 2.84×10^(−8)A/cm^(2),while that after laser treatment with 5 mJ was 0.65×10^(−8)A/cm^(2))and ascribed to the rapid formation of a complex and passivating bi-modal surface oxide *** cytotoxicity and effects of the Ti−45Nb alloy laser surface modification on the MRC-5 cell viability,morphology,and proliferation were also *** Ti−45Nb alloy showed no cytotoxic ***,cells showed improved viability and adherence to the alloy surface after the laser irradiation *** highest average cell viability of 115.37%was attained for the alloy laser-irradiated with 15 *** showed that the laser surface modification can be successfully utilized to significantly improve alloy performance in a biological environment.

in order to solve the contradiction between the rapidly growing energy demand and the excessive exploitation of fossil fuels,it is urgent to research and develops more environmentally friendly and efficient energy storage ***,the development of high-performance cathode materials to enhance the energy density of siB is currently one of the most important topics of scientific *** high-voltage and low-cost cathode material for siBs,a composite of carbon-coated Na_(4)MnCr(PO_(4))_(3)(NAsiCON-type),polyvinylpyrrolidone(PvP),and modified carbon nanotubes(CNTs)is prepared by sol-gel and freeze-drying *** to the high conductivity of CNTs,the conductivity of the composite is significantly improved,and its initial capacity is increased to 114 mAh/g at 0.5 C and 96 mAh/g at 5 C(Mn^(2+)/Mn^(4+)conversion for voltage windows 1.4-4.3 v).Moreover,the multi-electrons transfer of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(4+) and Mn^(2+)/Mn^(4+) can provide a high capacity of 165 mAh/g at 0.1 C and 102 mAh/g at 5 C in the high voltage window of 1.4-4.6 ***,PvP can effectively inhibit the Jahn-Teller effect caused by Mn ion,making the composite have more excellent high-rate performance and *** addition,GiTT,Eis and Cv curves were drawn to better reveal the excellent kinetic properties of Na_(4)MnCr(PO_(4))_(3)@C@PvP@CNT cathode,and the mechanism of its performance improvement is deeply studied and ***,the co-doping of CNTs and PvP is a simple way to high conductivity and fast charging of cathode materials for siBs.
