All-solid-state Z-scheme photocatalysts,containing Cu_(2)O,TiO_(2)(rutile),and Au as the elec-tron mediator,were prepared and applied to the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)in aqueous *** Cu_(2)O-Au-TiO_(2) composites were prepared by loading Au core-Cu_(2)O shell hemisphere particles on TiO_(2)(rutile)nanorods using a two-step photocatalytic deposition ***-der ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)light illumination,the Cu_(2)O-Au-TiO_(2) composites exhibited higher photocatalytic Cr(Ⅵ)reduction activities than those exhibited by single TiO_(2)(rutile)and Cu_(2)*** this reaction,a precipitate containing Cr,which was considered to be Cr(OH)_(3),was deposited site-selectively on the Au core-Cu_(2)O shell particles of the composites,indi-cating that the reduction site of the composite was Cu_(2)O,and the reaction proceeded accord-ing to the *** Cu_(2)O-Au-TiO_(2) composites also exhibited photocatalytic activity under visible light *** oxidation state of Cu in the Cu_(2)O-Au-TiO_(2) composite gradually changed from Cu(Ⅰ)to Cu(Ⅱ)during the photocatalytic Cr(Ⅵ)*** the composite maintained its high photocatalytic performance even after *** role of Au in the Cu_(2)O-Au-TiO_(2) composite was examined by comparing the properties of the Cu_(2)O-Au-TiO_(2) composite with those of the Cu_(2)O-TiO_(2) composite prepared via direct Cu_(2)O deposition on TiO_(2).

This paper mainly clarified the dispersion mechanism of three typical chemical dispersants which are polyethylene glycol octylphenyl ether(Triton X-100,T-100),polyethylene pyrrolidone(PVP)and carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)within lithium-ion battery(LiB)***,the optimum amounts of T-100,PVP and CMC are selected from 0%,0.5%,1.5%and 2.5%by evaluating the impedance of LiB slurry in the case of adding each typical chemical dispersant with EiS ***,the impedance spectrum of three different slurry samples which are PVDF-NMP solution,LiCoO_(2) slurry and Carbon Black(CB)slurry with the optimum amount of each dispersant are also *** using SEM and C element distribution images of LiB slurry to verify the correctness of the dispersion mechanism of each dispersant,it is concluded that the dispersion CMC with its optimum amount 1.5%is the best one to promote the formation of conductive paths and CB-coated LiCoO_(2) network structure within LiB slurry,which has the considerably potential to improve the performance of LiB.

Glia-derived axonal growth inhibitory proteins limit functional repair following damage to the adult cen- tral nervous system （CNS）. Nogo proteins, myelin-as- sociated glycoprotein （MAG）, oligodendrocyte myelin glycoprotein （OMgp） and B lymphocyte stimulator （BLyS）, are 4 inhibitors that commonly interact with the neuronal receptor, Nogo receptor-1 （NgR1）, lead- ing to inhibition of axonal growth. Here, we demon- strate that lateral olfactory tract usher substance （LOTUS） binds to NgR1 and blocks the binding of all four ligands to NgR1, resulting in the suppression of axonal growth inhibition induced by these NgR1 li- gands. LOTUS allows neurons to overcome NgRl-me- diated axonal growth inhibition, raising the possibility that LOTUS may be useful in future therapeutic ap- proaches as an endogenous potent inhibitor of NgR1 for promoting neuronal regeneration.

A measurement technique that can measure the concentration of the solid particles in liquid flow was *** measurement system consists of a color camera and three LCD *** solid particles were put at the bottom of a cylindrical mixing tank in which JetA1 oil was *** mixing of the solid particles was performed by rotating a propeller type agitator with three different rotation speed(500,600,700 r/min).Mixing state was visualized by the LCD displays and a color *** color intensity of the glass particles changes with their *** color information was decoded into three principle colors R,G,and B so that,the calibration curve of color-to-concentration was performed using these information.A neural network was used for this *** transient concentration field of the solid particles was quantitatively visualized.

Performance Analyses for a Cyclone Type Filter

Flow characteristics inside a cyclone filter were investigated by the use of computational fluid dynamics(CFD). For computations, SST model was adopted. Parametric study was carried out considering the filtering performance. Revolution speeds were changed from 100 to 550 with 50 increments. A skirt is the driving source for cyclone operation. The influence of several design factors, such as the skirt length, the skirt gap and the return length to filtering performance was investigated under the particle diameter 100μm of debris material(Al, s.g.=2.7). The filtering performance was also investigated with the skirt length 28 mm changing the debris diameters from 1μm to 50μm. The flow rate of the working fluid was maintained at 0.55kg/s. it has been verified that the most influential factors to the filtering efficiencies was the skirt gap between the cyclone generator and the cyclone vessel.
