Earliest megafossils of scandent calamoid palms from the Deccan intertrappean Beds of Central india and their paleobiogeographic implications

Two well-preserved petrified palm stems from the latest maastrichtian(Late Cretaceous) to earliest Danian(Early Paleocene) sediments of the Deccan intertrappean Beds of madhya Pradesh, Central india are described. Their significant anatomical characteristics include a Calamus-type general stem pattern,the presence of well-preserved fibrovascular bundles(fvbs) with two wide metaxylem vessel elements(230 μm-250 μm) and one phloem strand, uniform density of fvbs, lack of continuity between protoxylem and metaxylem vessel elements, and an absence of centrifugal differentiation of sclerenchymatous fibrous *** features reveal a close resemblance to those of extant genera of scandent Calamoideae. The permineralized stems are described as a new species namely, Palmoxylon calamoides Kumar, Roy et Khan sp. *** fossils represent the oldest reliable fossil records of this family, supporting their Gondwanan origin, their importance in tracing their migration pathways from india to Europe and other continents after the docking of the indian subcontinent with Eurasia during the Paleocene, and an “Out-of-india” dispersal hypothesis. Today the subfamily Calamoideae is disjunctly occurred in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and South America, but the poor deep-time fossil record of this subfamily with a small number of Cenozoic fossils makes hypotheses concerning its origin and dispersal difficult to evaluate. The present study has significant implications for the origin and migration of this subfamily and the paleoclimate.

Effects of family non-universal Z′model in angular observables of B→(ρ,a_(1))µ^(+)µ^(−)decays

We present the angular distribution of the four-fold B→ρ(→ππ)µ^(+)µ^(−) and B→a_(1)(→ρ_(Ⅱ).⊥π)µ^(+)µ^(−) decays in the Standard model and family non-universal Z'*** the quark level,these decays are govered by the b→dµ^(+)µ^(−) *** with different angular observables,we provide predictions of differential branching ***,forward-backward asymmetry,and longitudinal polarization fractions of ρ and a_(1) *** analysis showsthat the signatures of the fimily non-universal Z’model are more distinct in the observables associated with the B→ρ(→ππ)µ^(+)µ^(−) decay than in those associated with the B→a_(1)(→ρ_(Ⅱ).⊥π)µ^(+)µ^(−) *** measurements ofthe predicted angular observables,both at current and fiuture high energy colliders,will provide useful *** data required to clarify the structure of the family non-universal Z' model in |△b|=△d|=1 processes.

Unveiling vulnerable smart contracts:Toward profiling vulnerable smart contracts using genetic algorithm and generating benchmark dataset

Smart contracts(SCs)are crucial in maintaining trust within blockchain ***,existing methods for analyzing SC vulnerabilities often lack accuracy and effectiveness,while approaches based on Deep Neural Networks(DNNs)struggle with detecting complex vulnerabilities due to limited data *** paper proposes a novel approach for analyzing SC *** method leverages an advanced form of the Genetic Algorithm(GA)and includes the development of a comprehensive benchmark dataset consisting of 36,670 Solidity source code *** primary objective of our study is to profile vulnerable SCs *** achieve this goal,we have devised an analyzer called SCsVulLyzer based on GAs,designed explicitly for profiling ***,we have carefully curated a new dataset encompassing a wide range of examples,ensuring the practical validation of our ***,we have established three distinct taxonomies that cover SCs,profiling techniques,and feature *** taxonomies provide a systematic classification and analysis of information,improving the efficiency of our *** methodology underwent rigorous testing through experimentation,and the results demonstrated the superior capabilities of our model in detecting *** to traditional and DNN-based approaches,our approach achieved higher precision,recall,and F1-score,which are widely used metrics for evaluating model *** all these metrics,our model showed exceptional *** customization and adaptations we implemented within the GA significantly enhanced its *** approach detects SC vulnerabilities more efficiently and facilitates robust *** promising results highlight the potential of GA-based profiling to improve the detection of SC vulnerabilities,contributing to enhanced security in blockchain networks.

On October 7,2021,a magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck the Harnai(Baluchistan)region of Pakistan,causing several fatalities and injuries within the epicentral ***-order tectonic deformation in this region is caused by the convergence of the indian Plate with respect to the Eurasian *** Katwaz Block hinders the motion of the indian Plate,resulting in the formation of strike-slip *** this study,the P-wave first-motion polarity technique was used to determine the mainshock faulting *** scanning of the polarity solutions was applied to determine the most suitable focal mechanism solution among the available solutions generated by the FOCmEC(focal mechanism)*** nodal planes correspond to different faulting styles(i.e.,thrust and strike-slip faulting).A nodal plane oriented in the NW-SE direction corresponded to a strike-slip mechanism,which was considered to be the fault ***,this earthquake was associated with the Harnai-Karahi strike-slip fault zone owing to the fault strike and direction of *** apparent stress drop,fault length,and moment magnitude of the Harnai earthquake were 35.4 bar,6.1 km,and 5.9,respectively.A lower b-value for the Gutenberg-Richter law was observed prior to the ***α-than b-values(α>b)indicate that this earthquake was governed by large events as opposed to small-magnitude *** Harnai sequence had a decay exponent close to unity,lasted for 145 days,and produced few *** study will help the future hazard mitigation in the region.

The intuitive fuzzy set has found important application in decision-making and machine *** enrich and utilize the intuitive fuzzy set,this study designed and developed a deep neural network-based glaucoma eye detection using fuzzy difference equations in the domain where the retinal images *** image detections are categorized as normal eye recognition,suspected glaucomatous eye recognition,and glaucomatous eye *** degrees associated with weighted values are calculated to determine the level of concentration between the fuzzy partition and the retinal *** proposed model was used to diagnose glaucoma using retinal images and involved utilizing the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and deep learning to identify the fuzzy weighted regularization between *** methodology was used to clarify the input images and make them adequate for the process of glaucoma *** objective of this study was to propose a novel approach to the early diagnosis of glaucoma using the Fuzzy Expert System(FES)and Fuzzy differential equation(FDE).The intensities of the different regions in the images and their respective peak levels were *** the peak regions were identified,the recurrence relationships among those peaks were then *** partitioning was done due to varying degrees of similar and dissimilar concentrations in the *** and dissimilar concentration levels and spatial frequency generated a threshold image from the combined fuzzy matrix and *** distinguished between a normal and abnormal eye condition,thus detecting patients with glaucomatous eyes.

To meet the rapidly increasing demand for energy and the dramatic depletion of conventional crude oil,it is imperative to utilize sour *** no coke being produced,oxidative desulfurization(ODS)of naphtha lowers its sulfur content and average molecular *** this article,we outline a method for heavy naphtha non-extractive ODS using a very stable *** technique involves the use of a solid catalyst with oxygen gas as the *** necessitated relatively high mixing intensities;hence a three-phase Oscillatory Baffled Reactor(OBR)was *** catalyst was based on the zeolite ZSm-5,prepared from natural kaolin by a series of delamination and activation steps and impregnated with Fe.A TiO2 nanolayer was applied,using the sol-gel method,to prevent rapid *** reactor performance was evaluated to minimize the sulfur content in the naphtha *** to the protective coating,the sulfur conversion stabilized at 90%.The results of this work establish the use of natural clay-based catalysts in a continuous,three-phase ODS,particularly with regard to proving long-term *** also showed that modest ODS can be achieved using an environmentally friendly oxidant,at mild operating conditions,whilst maintaining stability.

Five perovskite ceramics samples of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transforms infrared(FTiR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the major phase in all *** FTiR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm^(-1) ascribed to the antisymmetric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determine the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancement in the bandgap from 3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized samples were experimentally measured and compared with XCOm computational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experimental and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gamma shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding parameters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) samples can be used in different radiation shielding applications.
