in this article,an investigation is conducted to study the precise role of zirconium nanoparticles that exist in a slime-like fluid subject to specific *** gliding is a technique of mobility used by bacteria that lack motility components,bacteria travel on their own strength in gliding locomotion by secreting a layer of slime on the substrate.A model of an undulating sheet over a layer of slime of a Rabinowitsch fluid is investigated as a potential model of bacteria’s gliding *** the aid of long wavelength approximation,the equations governing the circulation of slime underneath the cells are established and analytically *** effects of pseudoplasticity,dilatation and non-Newtonian parameter on the behavior of zirconium concentration,speed of microorganism(bacteria),streamline patterns,and pressure rise for non-Newtonian and Newtonian fluids are *** power required for propulsion is also *** interpretation for the pertinent variables has been graphically discussed against the parameters under *** is found that with the increase in the concentration of zirconium nanoparticles,the bacterial flow is accelerated and attains its maximum near the rigid substrate wall while an opposite behavior is noticed in the rest region.

in this paper,a new M3Y-type effective nucleon–nucleon interaction,derived based on the lowest order constrained variational approach(LOCV)and termed B3Y-Fetal,has been used in DDM3Y1,BDM3Y1,BDM3Y2,and BDM3Y3 density-dependent versions in a heavy ion(Hi)optical potential based on four types of a real folded potential and a phenomenological Woods–Saxon imaginary potential to study the elastic scattering of the^(16)O+^(16)O nuclear system within the framework of the optical model(OM)by computing the associated differential cross sections at various incident *** results of the folding analyses have shown the DDB3Y1-Fetal and BDB3Y1-Fetal,out of the four folded potentials,give a reasonably better description of the elastic data of the nuclear *** best-fit folded potentials are followed,in performance,by the BDB3Y2-Fetal,with the BDB3Y3-Fetal potential coming *** performance trend was also demonstrated by the optical potentials based on the M3Y-Reid ***,the best-fit folded potentials,renormalized by a factor NRof approximately 0.9,have been shown to reproduce the energy dependence of the real optical potential for^(16)O scattering found in previous optical model analyses creditably *** excellent agreement with previous works,they have also been identified in this work to belong to the family of deep refractive potentials because they have been able to reproduce and consistently describe the evolution of Airylike structures,at large scattering angles,observed in the^(16)O scattering data at different ***,a comparison of the performances of B3Y-Fetal and M3Y-Reid effective interactions undertaken in this work has shown impressive agreement between them.

The Hamilton-Jacobi method of quantizing singular systems is discussed. The equations of motion areobtained as total differential equations in many variables. it is shown that if the system is integrable, one can obtain thecanonical phase space coordinates and set of canonical Hamilton-Jacobi partial differential equations without any needto introduce unphysical auxiliary fields. As an example we quantize the O(2) nonlinear sigma model using two differentapproaches: the functional Schrodinger method to obtain the wave functionals for the ground and the exited state andthen we quantize the same model using the canonical path integral quantization as an integration over the canonicalphase-space coordinates.

Critical temperature of Mg1-xAlxB2, MgB2-xCx are calculated using two-band Eliashberg theory in intermediate e-ph coupling. Analytical calculations are conducted for different values of doping parameters x in this compounds. Pressure effects on critical temperature in MgB2 and nonmagnetic borocarbide YNi2B2C are also investigated. Results is compared with available experimental data and good agreement is achieved.

Temperature dependence of the magnetization M （T） of two-band superconductors is studied in the vicinity of upper critical field He2 by using a two-band Ginzburg-Landau （GL） theory. it is shown that magnetization M（T） has a nonlinear character due to positive curvature of upper critical field Hc2（T） and temperature dependence of effective Ginzburg-Landau parameter Neff（T）. The results are shown to be in qualitative agreement with experimental data for the superconducting magnesium diboride, MgB2.

Aim: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of transurethral application of alprostadil (MUSE^(R) ) for the treatment oferectile dysfunction in indonesians. Methods: Twenty erectile dysfunction patients aged between 32-74 years oldwere recruited in this study. The inclusion criteria were as follows: 1) adult males 18 years or older with a subjectivecomplaint or erectile dysfunction, 2) to provide written informed consent, 3) to agree not to use other forms of treat-ment for erectile dysfunction, 4) fulfill the screening laboratory values. Part Ⅰ, eligible patients were titrated in theclinic starting with a dose of 250μg and proceed in a stepwise manner to 500 μg and 1000 μg on separate clinic visitsuntil they identified a dose that produced a satisfactory response. The interval between each in-clinic titration was 2-3days. Each in-clinic titration dose was evaluated at 15 rain intervals over a one hour period for erection assessment,blood pressure and pulse. Part 2, patients used MUSE at home for three months at the dose identified during the in-clinic titration. Monthly interim visits were required for patient follow-up and drug distribution. At the end of thestudy, patients had another laboratory (except testosterone, only assayed in screening procedure) and physical examina-tion. Results: The etiology of erectile dysfunction was psychological in 5 patients and organic in 15 patients. The65% of the patients achieved the erection scale of 4 or 5 either in the clinic or at home, 10% achieved the scale of 4at home, but not in the clinic, and 25% only achieved the scale of 2 or 3 with the highest dose of 1000 μg either in theclinic or at home. No significant differences were found in biochemical examination before and after the study. The60% of the patients who achieved erection scale 4 or 5 continued to use MUSE until the end of the study, while 40%of them complained of pain at the time of MUSE application, during erection and/or during intercourse. To address the increasing demands on pollution control and energy saving, the study of low-emission and high-efficiency burners has been emphasized worldwide. Swirl-induced environmental burners(EV-burners), have notable features aligned with these requirements. in this study, an EV burner is investigated by both an ECT system and an OH-PLiF system. The aim is to detect the structure of a flame and obtain more information about the combustion process in an EV burner. 3D ECT sensitivity maps are generated for the measurement and OH-PLiF images are acquired in the same combustion zone as for the ECT measurements. The experimental images of a flame by ECT are in good agreement with the OH radical distribution pictures captured by OH-PLiF, which provide a mutual verification of the visualization method.

The effect of egg shell powder(ES) as an environmental friendly inhibitor was studied for its corrosion inhibitive tendency on N08904 austenitic stainless steel in simulated saline(3.5% NaCl) solution using potentiodynamic polarization, weight loss, and SEM/EDX at room temperature. The experimental data explained the effective performance of ES with values of 57%-100% inhibition efficiency, at 2 g-10 g inhibitor concentration from weight loss tests due to the inhibition of stainless steel. The electrochemical action was as a result of the ionized particles which inhibit the compound influencing the redox reaction mechanism causing surface corrosion. ES's best performance was achieved when 6 g of the inhibitor concentration was added to the saline medium. Corrosion rate value decreased progressively with the presence of inhibitor because of anions adsorption at the interface of the metal film. Corrosion potential(Ecorr) value was found to decrease from-0.3991 V to-0.3447 V in the presence of inhibitor at 2 g concentration, decreasing gradually to-0.2048 at 6 g inhibitor concentration. The compounds identified in the ES completely adsorbed onto the surface of stainless steel as observed from the EDX analysis. The ES adsorption on stainless steel surface obeyed Langmuir adsorption isotherm. A corroded morphology with pits was observed in the SEM results without ES which contrast the images obtained with the presence of ES.
