The catechi. Epi.allocatechi.-3-O-Gallate (EGCG) whi.h i. found i. of Green Tea extracts (GTE), di.plays a vari.ty of mi.robi.i.al properti.s. i. i. largely beli.ved that EGCG i.hi.i.s the growth of cari.geni. and peri.dontopathi. bacteri.. Objecti.e: i. thi. paper we compared the i.hi.i.ory acti.i.y of EGCG and a commerci.l GTE on the growth of Vei.lonella parvula. Chlorhexi.i.e was used as posi.i.e control. Methodology: V. parvula ATCC 10790 and a cli.i.al i.olate obtai.ed from a peri.dontal di.ease pati.nt were cultured i. the presence of EGCG or a commerci.l GTE, and the measurements of bacteri.l growth i.hi.i.i.n were compared to the values obtai.ed wi.h 0.12 and 0.2% chlorhexi.i.e. Results: Chlorhexi.i.e i.hi.i.ed bacteri.l growth, however i. contrast to a previ.us report, nei.her EGCG nor the GTE showed any effect on bacteri.l growth. Conclusi.ns: The data show and confi.m that chlorhexi.i.e i. a growth i.hi.i.or of V. parvula whi.e EGCG and GTE do not di.play such effect.

A Cu-10wt%Fe composi.e was prepared through hot-pressed si.teri.g,and the materi.l was subsequently soluti.n treated.The hot-pressed si.tered and soluti.n treated materi.ls were rolled and aged.The preci.i.ati.n behavi.r and performance changes were systemati.ally studi.d by usi.g scanni.g electron mi.roscopy and transmi.si.n electron mi.roscopy.i. contrast to the hot-pressed si.tered speci.en,the soluti.n treatment si.ni.i.antly affects the thermal stabi.i.y and properti.s of the Cu-10wt%Fe composi.e.The Cu-10wt%Fe composi.e was prepared after soli. soluti.n,cold rolli.g and agi.g at 773 K for 1 h,and i. obtai.ed excellent tensi.e strength of 494 MPa,uni.orm elongati.n of 16.3%,electri.al conducti.i.y of 51.1%i.CS and softeni.g temperature of 838 K.Mechani.ms for the di.ti.ct di.ference i. thermal stabi.i.y and properti.s between hot-pressed si.tered and soluti.n treated speci.ens were analyzed.These fi.di.gs provi.e a theoreti.al basi. for desi.ni.g hi.h-performance Cu-based i.-si.u composi.es by post treatment.

i. thi. study,the effects of stacked nanosheets and the surroundi.g i.terphase zone on the resi.tance of the contact regi.n between nanosheets and the tunneli.g conducti.i.y of samples are evaluated wi.h developed equati.ns superi.r to those previ.usly reported.The contact resi.tance and nanocomposi.e conducti.i.y are modeled by several i.fluenci.g factors,i.cludi.g stack properti.s,i.terphase depth,tunneli.g si.e,and contact di.meter.The developed model's accuracy i. veri.i.d through numerous experi.ental measurements.To further vali.ate the models and establi.h correlati.ns between parameters,the effects of all the vari.bles on contact resi.tance and nanocomposi.e conducti.i.y are analyzed.Notably,the contact resi.tance i. pri.ari.y dependent on the polymer tunnel resi.ti.i.y,contact area,and tunneli.g si.e.The di.ensi.ns of the graphene nanosheets si.ni.i.antly i.fluence the conducti.i.y,whi.h ranges from 0 S/m to90 S/m.An i.creased number of nanosheets i. stacks and a larger gap between them enhance the nanocomposi.e's conducti.i.y.Furthermore,the thi.ker i.terphase and smaller tunneli.g si.e can lead to hi.her sample conducti.i.y due to thei. opti.i.ti. effects on the percolati.n threshold and network effi.acy.

We i.vesti.ated the emi.si.n properti.s of Eu3+-doped GdNbO4-based oxi.e phosphors,ai.i.g at i.provi.g the Eu3+emi.si.n by codopi.g of Bi.+and Li..Eu3+si.gly doped,Eu3+and Bi.+doubly doped,and Eu3+,Bi.+,and Li.tri.ly doped GdNbO4were prepared usi.g a hi.h-temperature soli.-state reacti.n method.The red-orange emi.si.ns from Eu3+i. the si.gly doped samples are si.ni.i.antly i.proved by the codopi.g of Bi.+,mai.ly due to the energy transfer from Bi.+to Eu3+.The addi.i.nal codopi.g of Li.i. found to i.crease the Eu3+emi.si.n si.ni.i.antly.Thi. i.provement mi.ht be attri.uted to the i.crease i. the photolumi.escent quantum yi.ld ori.i.ati.g from larger grai. si.es and better crystalli.i.y.A detai.ed analysi. of the X-ray di.fracti.n pattern and the asymmetri. rati. esti.ated from the photolumi.escence spectra show that the local latti.e envi.onment around Eu3+i. GdNbO4does not change si.ni.i.antly wi.h the codopi.g of Bi.+and Li..Our results i.di.ate that Li.dopi.g i. a promi.i.g way to i.prove the emi.si.n properti.s of rare-earth i.n-doped GdNbO4phosphors.
