Fi.e perovski.e cerami.s samples of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) wi.h x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesi.ed usi.g the conventi.nal soli.-state reacti.n *** prepared samples were characteri.ed by X-ray di.fracti.n(XRD),Fouri.r transforms i.frared(FTi.),and UV-Vi. *** shi.ldi.g properti.s agai.st i.ni.i.g radi.ti.n were also *** XRD analysi. shows the perovski.e cubi. structure as the major phase i. all *** FTi. reveals a di.ti.cti.e band around 614-620 cm^(-1) ascri.ed to the anti.ymmetri. O-Sn-O ***-Vi. spectroscopy was used to determi.e the bandgap accordi.g to di.fuse reflectance,and the results di.play a fi.ed enhancement i. the bandgap from 3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shi.ldi.g properti.s of the synthesi.ed samples were experi.entally measured and compared wi.h XCOM computati.nal *** relati.e di.ferences(Δ,%)between experi.ental and theo reti.al values are low and fall wi.hi. the 0.446%-7.10%*** addi.i.n of Er leads to the enhanced densi.y,neutron,and gamma shi.ldi.g *** contrast,charged parti.les’shi.ldi.g parameters gradually reduce wi.h ri.i.g Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) samples can be used i. di.ferent radi.ti.n shi.ldi.g appli.ati.ns.

We carri.d out thi. research at Abu-Gaddaf Natural Forest Reserve (ANFR) whi.h i. located east of Blue Ni.e Ri.er, i. Blue Ni.e State, Sudan. i. ai.s at explori.g tree composi.i.n assessi.g thei. di.ersi.y i.di.es, and ecologi.al i.portance values. For survey of types and esti.ati.n of densi.y of tree speci.s i. the forest, we randomly di.tri.uted 97 ci.cular sample plots (0.1 hectare (ha)). i. each sample plot we i.enti.i.d all trees to the speci.s level, recorded thei. frequenci.s and computed speci.s di.ersi.y and i.portance value i.di.es (i.i.. A total of 13 tree speci.s, whi.h belong to 12 genera and ni.e fami.i.s, were i.enti.i.d i. the tree layer of the forest. Mean tree densi.y i. ANFR was 116 trees/ha, composed mai.ly of Boswelli. papyri.era (Del.) hochst. (48), followed by Combretum hartmanni.nu (19) and Lannea fruti.osa (18). Fabaceae was the most common fami.y followed by Combretaceae and Malvaceae. B. papyri.era Deli.e hochst was the most abundant whi.e Acaci. seyal was the least abundant speci.s. Speci.s ri.hness (R = 1.71), evenness (E = 0.69), domi.ance (0.24) i.di.es and Si.pson’s i.dex of Di.ersi.y (D' = 0.76) suggest a moderate di.ersi.y, moderate numbers of i.di.i.uals i. each speci.s and a moderate communi.y stabi.i.y. The research provi.es empi.i.al results on di.ersi.y and ecologi.al i.portance value of speci.s, si.ni.i.s the urgi.g need to safeguard threatened speci.s and to pri.ri.i.e them for conservati.n, as well as the need to promote management of abundant speci.s to provi.e multi.le forest ecosystem servi.es.

Thi. thesi. delves i.to the operati.nal challenges of vehi.le performance management wi.hi. logi.ti.s clusters, a cri.i.al aspect of effi.i.nt supply chai. operati.ns. i. ai.s to address the i.sues faced by logi.ti.s organi.ati.ns i. opti.i.i.g thei. vehi.le fleets’ performance, essenti.l for seamless logi.ti.s operati.ns. The study’s core desi.n i.volves the development of a predi.ti.e logi.ti.s model based on regressi.n, focused on forecasti.g, and evaluati.g vehi.le performance i. logi.ti.s clusters. i. encompasses a comprehensi.e li.erature revi.w, research methodology, data sources, vari.bles, feature engi.eeri.g, and model trai.i.g and evaluati.n and F-test analysi. was done to i.enti.y and veri.y the relati.nshi.s between attri.utes and the target vari.ble. The fi.di.gs hi.hli.ht the model’s effi.acy, wi.h a low mean squared error (MSE) value of 3.42, i.di.ati.g i.s accuracy i. predi.ti.g performance metri.s. The hi.h R-squared (R2) score of 0.921 emphasi.es i.s abi.i.y to capture relati.nshi.s between i.put characteri.ti.s and performance metri.s. The model’s trai.i.g and testi.g accuracy further attest to i.s reli.bi.i.y and generali.ati.n capabi.i.i.s. i. i.terpretati.n, thi. research underscores the practi.al si.ni.i.ance of the fi.di.gs. The regressi.n-based model provi.es a practi.al soluti.n for the logi.ti.s i.dustry, enabli.g i.formed deci.i.ns regardi.g resource allocati.n, mai.tenance planni.g, and deli.ery route opti.i.ati.n. Functi.n methods. The method i. used to solve fourth order boundary value problems. The use and locati.n of ghost poi.ts are exami.ed i. order to enforce the extra boundary condi.i.ns that are necessary to make a fourth-order problem well posed. The use of ghost poi.ts versus solvi.g an overdetermi.ed li.ear system vi. least squares i. studi.d. For a general fourth-order boundary value problem, the recommended approach i. to ei.her use one of two novel sets of ghost centers i.troduced here or else to use a least squares approach. When usi.g ei.her ghost centers or least squares, the random vari.ble shape parameter strategy results i. si.ni.i.antly better accuracy than when a constant shape parameter i. used.

Thi. revi.w of the li.erature summari.es the adverse events and outcomes associ.ted wi.h physi.al restrai.t use, and the ri.k factors associ.ted wi.h thei. use duri.g treatment i. the i.U. The PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases were screened usi.g predefi.ed search terms to i.enti.y studi.s pertai.i.g to adverse events and/or outcomes associ.ted wi.h physi.al restrai.t use, and the factors associ.ted wi.h thei. use i. adult pati.nts admi.ted to the i.U. A total of 24 arti.les (i.cludi.g 6126 pati.nts) that were publi.hed between 2006 and 2022 were i.enti.i.d. The descri.ed adverse events associ.ted wi.h physi.al restrai.t use i.cluded ski. i.juri.s, subsequent deli.i.m, neurofuncti.nal i.pai.ment, and a hi.her rate of post-traumati. stress di.order. Subsequent deli.i.m was the most frequent adverse event to be reported. No alternati.e measures to physi.al restrai.ts were di.cussed, and only one study reported a standardi.ed protocol for thei. use. Although physi.al restrai.t use has been reported to be associ.ted wi.h adverse events (i.cludi.g neurofuncti.nal i.pai.ment) i. the li.erature, the avai.able evi.ence i. li.i.ed. Although causali.y cannot be confi.med, a defi.i.e associ.ti.n appears to exi.t. Our fi.di.gs suggest that i. i. essenti.l to i.prove awareness regardi.g thei. adverse i.pact and opti.i.e approaches for thei. detecti.n, management, and preventi.n usi.g protocols or checkli.ts.

Background: The opti.al ti.e to closure of a newborn wi.h a myelomeni.gocele has been the focus of a number of evaluati.ns. The Ti.i.g of pri.ary surgery has recei.ed si.ni.i.ant attenti.n due to i.s relati.nshi. to repai.-si.e i.fecti.n that can lead to i.creased morbi.i.y and prolonged hospi.al stays. i. i. on thi. basi. that recommendati.ns have uti.i.ed 48 - 72 hours post bi.th as i.eal ti.e of closure. Thi. i. not only prevent i.fecti.n at the si.e but also prevent ventri.uli.i. and neural structure damage. We therefore, hypothesi.ed an i.crease i. wound i.fecti.n rates i. those pati.nts wi.h delays i. myelomeni.gocele repai.. Methods: We retrospecti.ely revi.wed the records of 103 chi.dren wi.h myelomeni.gocele treated between 2016 and 2023. At di.charge the pati.nts were followed up at the post-operati.e cli.i. vi.i. 2 weeks later. Chi.dren were assi.ned to 1 of 2 groups, those who underwent pri.ary neurosurgi.al repai. wi.hi. 72 hours of deli.ery (Group 1) and those undergoi.g repai. after 72 hours (Group 2). We compared the i.fecti.n rates. Results: 103 chi.dren who underwent myelomeni.gocele repai. were i.enti.i.d, wi.h a medi.n ti.e from bi.th to treatment of 1 day. Ei.ht (7.8 %) pati.nts were noted to have post-repai. surgi.al si.e compli.ati.ns. There was no si.ni.i.ant di.ference i. rates of i.fecti.n between Group 1 and Group 2 repai. ti.es. The presence of i.fecti.n was associ.ted i.creased length of stay when compared to neonates wi.hout i.fecti.n. Conclusi.n: i. chi.dren wi.h myelomeni.gocele, the ti.i.g of pri.ary neurosurgi.al repai. appears not to have a si.ni.i.ant i.pact on surgi.al si.e i.fecti.n. Closure of the spi.al lesi.n wi.hi. the fi.st 72 hours of li.e may be more favorable for neural damage preventi.n. These results suggest that early myelomeni.gocele repai. may not i.part si.ni.i.antly on the rate of wound-si.e i.fecti.n.

Effi.i.nt water quali.y moni.ori.g and ensuri.g the safety of dri.ki.g water by government agenci.s i. areas where the resource i. constantly depleted due to anthropogeni. or natural factors cannot be overemphasi.ed. The above statement holds for West Texas, Mi.land, and Odessa Preci.ely. Two machi.e learni.g regressi.n algori.hms (Random Forest and XGBoost) were employed to develop models for the predi.ti.n of total di.solved soli.s (TDS) and sodi.m absorpti.n rati. (SAR) for effi.i.nt water quali.y moni.ori.g of two vi.al aqui.ers: Edward-Tri.i.y (plateau), and Ogallala aqui.ers. These two aqui.ers have contri.uted i.mensely to provi.i.g water for di.ferent uses rangi.g from domesti., agri.ultural, i.dustri.l, etc. The data was obtai.ed from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). The XGBoost and Random Forest models used i. thi. study gave an accurate predi.ti.n of observed data (TDS and SAR) for both the Edward-Tri.i.y (plateau) and Ogallala aqui.ers wi.h the R2 values consi.tently greater than 0.83. The Random Forest model gave a better predi.ti.n of TDS and SAR concentrati.n wi.h an average R, MAE, RMSE and MSE of 0.977, 0.015, 0.029 and 0.00, respecti.ely. For the XGBoost, an average R, MAE, RMSE, and MSE of 0.953, 0.016, 0.037 and 0.00, respecti.ely, were achi.ved. The overall performance of the models produced was i.pressi.e. From thi. study, we can clearly understand that Random Forest and XGBoost are appropri.te for water quali.y predi.ti.n and moni.ori.g i. an area of hi.h hydrocarbon acti.i.i.s li.e Mi.land and Odessa and West Texas at large.

The paper descri.es some i.plementati.n aspects of an algori.hm for approxi.ate soluti.n of the traveli.g salesman problem based on the constructi.n of convex closed contours on the i.i.i.l set of poi.ts (“ci.i.s”) and thei. subsequent combi.ati.n i.to a closed path (the so-called contour algori.hm or “oni.n husk” algori.hm). A number of heuri.ti.s related to the di.ferent stages of the algori.hm are consi.ered, and vari.us vari.nts of the algori.hm based on these heuri.ti.s are analyzed. Sets of randomly generated poi.ts of di.ferent si.es (from 4 to 90 and from 500 to 10,000) were used to test the algori.hms. The numeri.al results obtai.ed are compared wi.h the results of two well-known combi.atori.l opti.i.ati.n algori.hms, namely the algori.hm based on the branch and bound method and the si.ulated anneali.g algori.hm. .
