The purpose of thi. paper i. to compare the performance of four passi.e opti.al network topologi.s i. i.plementi.g multi.user quantum key di.tri.uti.n, usi.g 3 protocols proposed by quantum cryptography (B92, EPR, and SSP). The consi.ered networks are the passi.e-star network, the opti.al-ri.g network based on the Si.nac i.terferometer, the wavelength-routed network, and the wavelength-addressed bus network. The quantum bi.-error rate and si.ted key rate for each of these topologi.s are analysed to determi.e thei. sui.abi.i.y for provi.i.g quantum key di.tri.uti.n-servi.e to networks of vari.us si.es. The effi.i.ncy of the three consi.ered protocols i. also determi.ed.

The ai. of thi. work i. the development of a steganographi. techni.ue for the MP3 audi. format, whi.h i. based on the Peak Shaped Model algori.hm used for JPEG i.ages. The proposed method reli.s on the stati.ti.al properti.s of MP3 samples, whi.h are compressed by a Modi.i.d Di.crete Cosi.e Transform (MDCT). After the conversi.n of MP3, i.’s possi.le to hi.e some secret i.formati.n by replaci.g the least si.ni.i.ant bi. of the MDCT coeffi.i.nts. Those coeffi.i.nts are chosen accordi.g to the stati.ti.al relevance of each coeffi.i.nt wi.hi. the di.tri.uti.n. The performance analysi. has been made by calculati.g three steganographi. parameters: the Embeddi.g Capaci.y, the Embeddi.g Effi.i.ncy and the PSNR. i. has been also si.ulated an attack wi.h the Chi.Square test and the results have been used to plot the ROC curve, i. order to calculate the error probabi.i.y. Performances have been compared wi.h performances of other exi.ti.g techni.ues, showi.g i.teresti.g results.

The ai. of thi. paper i. to show the accuracy and ti.e results of a text i.dependent automati. speaker recogni.i.n (ASR) system, based on Mel-Frequency Cepstrum Coeffi.i.nts (MFCC) and Gaussi.n Mi.ture Models (GMM), i. order to develop a securi.y control access gate. 450 speakers were randomly extracted from the *** audi. database, thei. utterances have been i.proved usi.g spectral subtracti.n, then MFCC were extracted and these coeffi.i.nts were stati.ti.ally analyzed by GMM i. order to bui.d each profi.e. For each speaker two di.ferent speech fi.es were used: the fi.st one to bui.d the profi.e database, the second one to test the system performance. The accuracy achi.ved by the proposed approach i. greater than 96% and the ti.e spent for a si.gle test run, i.plemented i. Matlab language, i. about 2 seconds on a common PC.
