i.troducti.n: Nephroblastoma is the most common renal cancer in pediatrics. The aim of this study was to describe the epidemiological, clinical, histological characteristics and the immediate outcome of patients with nephroblastoma. Methodology: This was a cross-sectional study of 18 cases of unilateral nephroblastoma, carried out in the pediatric oncology unit (UOP) of the CHU Gabriel Touré from January 2015 to December 2016. Results: The mean age of the patients was 33 months old. The sex ratio was 0.63. The average consultation time was 3 months. A case of malformation syndrome (aniridia and mental retardation) had been observed. The main reason for consultation was abdominal mass (100%) associated with deterioration of general condition (44%), pain (44%) and fever (17%). Stage I accounted for 61% and stage II 39%. The postoperative histological classification made it possible to find the high-risk blastematous type (33%), the regressive type of intermediate risk (11%) and the stromal type of intermediate risk (45%). Toxicities (haematological and digestive) were minimal. The 3-year overall survival was 90%. Conclusion: This study is characterized by the predominance of stages I and II and the fairly large percentage of histology at intermediate risk. These results are above all the result of multidisciplinary collaboration.

Pati.nts and Methods: We conducted a cross-secti.nal and descri.ti.e study, whi.h took place from August 2018 to August 2019 (13 months), i. chi.dren aged between 1 month and 15 years hospi.ali.ed i. the paedi.tri. department of the Gabri.l Touré Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al wi.h an ultrasound- confi.med cardi.c di.ease and a temperature above 38°C. Results: The hospi.ali.ati.n rate was 0.4%. The average age was 11 months, the sex rati. was 1.35. Respi.atory di.tress (63.6%) and fever (30.3%) were the most common reasons for referral. Congeni.al heart di.ease (87.9%) and dyspnoea on feedi.g (24.2%) were the most common medi.al hi.tori.s. i.C was the most frequent congeni.al heart di.ease (36.4%). The mean temperature was 39.1°C. Blood cultures were taken i. 24 pati.nts (72.7%) and were posi.i.e i. 27.3%. Staphylococcus aureus was found i. 55.6% of cases. Trans-thoraci. ultrasound found vegetati.ns i. 03 cases. Accordi.g to the modi.i.d DUKE cri.eri., the di.gnosi. of endocardi.i. was retai.ed i. 27.30%. The evoluti.n was marked by a hi.h case fatali.y rate (45.45%). Conclusi.n: Endocardi.i. i. an uncommon di.ease i. chi.dren wi.h a pulmonary portal of entry and Staphylococcus aureus as the mai. germ. i.s mortali.y remai.s hi.h.

Symptoms usually begi. wi.h rhi.i.i. and cough, whi.h may progress to tachypnoea, wheezi.g, and rales. The most common eti.logy i. a respi.atory syncyti.l vi.us (RSV). Bronchi.li.i. occupi.s an i.portant place among Acutes Respi.atory i.fecti.ns (ARi. and represented the fi.th cause of hospi.ali.ati.n i. the paedi.tri. emergency department of the Gabri.l Touré Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al i. 2008 wi.h a frequency of 10% and a mortali.y rate of 3.2%. Thi. shows that we are constantly confronted wi.h the management of thi. pathology. The objecti.e of our study was to study the epi.emi.logi.al, cli.i.al, and therapeuti. aspects of bronchi.li.i. i. the paedi.tri. emergency room of the Gabri.l Touré Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al. Materi.ls and Method: Thi. was a prospecti.e cross-secti.nal and descri.ti.e study from Apri. 1, 2018, to March 31, 2020, i.e. 2 years i. i.fants aged 1 to 23 months. Data were collected usi.g an i.di.i.ual survey form by questi.ni.g parents and physi.ally exami.i.g pati.nts. Results: Duri.g the study peri.d, we were able to collect 342 pati.nts meeti.g our i.clusi.n cri.eri. out of 4207 hospi.ali.ed pati.nts, or a frequency of 8.1%. The age range of 1 to 5 months represented 64.9%. The sex rati. was 1.2. The most common reason for consultati.n was respi.atory di.comfort (86.8%). Most pati.nts (46%) were hospi.ali.ed duri.g the peri.d from September to November. i. the majori.y of cases (74%), pati.nts consulted wi.hi. fi.e days of the onset of symptoms. The physi.al exami.ati.n was mai.ly domi.ated by si.ns of respi.atory struggle, fever (51.8%), and si.i.ants (37%) on auscultati.n. i.troducti.n: convulsion is a frequent cause of neurological and cognitive sequelae and then of epilepsy. The objective of this work was to describe the socio-demographic, clinical, therapeutic, and evolutionary aspects. Methodology: This was a descriptive retrospective study carried out in the general pediatrics department of CHU-Gabriel Touré. It took place over a period of 02 years from January 2017 to December 2018. We included all children aged 1 to 59 months hospitalized in the ward for convulsion. Results: During the study period, 2653 children aged 2 months to 59 months were hospitalized in the general pediatric ward. We included 288 medical records of children who presented with a seizure on admission. Convulsions represented 11% of pediatric hospitalizations from 1 month to 59 months. The average age was 29 months. Fever was present in 86% of patients. The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) test was positive in 38 patients. Hypoglycemia was present in 14 patients. Serum calcium was low in 3 patients. The most implicated etiologies were malaria 70%, meningitis 20%, and dehydration 13%. Management consisted of airway clearance, oxygen therapy as needed, and administration of diazepam (54%). Antibiotics were prescribed in 77% of cases and antimalarials in 70%. The average length of hospital stay was 8 days with extremes of 1 and 30 days. The outcome was favorable in 95% of cases. Sequelae were observed in 5% of cases and one case of death was observed. The ai. of our study was to present the epi.emi.logi.al, cli.i.al and hi.topathologi.al aspects of bladder cancer i. our department. Pati.nts and method: Thi. was a descri.ti.e cross-secti.nal study over a 12-month peri.d from January 1 to December 31, 2019. The study took place i. the urology department of the uni.ersi.y hospi.al Poi.t “G”. i. i.cluded all pati.nts hospi.ali.ed for bladder cancer. The epi.emi.logi.al, cli.i.al and hi.topathologi.al characteri.ti.s have been sought and descri.ed. Results: A total of 74 pati.nts were i.cluded i. the study. Bladder cancer was the leadi.g cause of cancer, accounti.g for 57.9% of all urologi.al cancers. The mean age of the pati.nts was 52.8 ± 16.25 years. A sli.ht male predomi.ance was observed wi.h a sex-rati. of 1.2. Housewi.es were the most represented wi.h 43.2% followed by farmers wi.h 24.3%. Hematuri. was the reason for consultati.n i. 87.8% cases. The mai. ri.k factors found were uri.ary schi.tosomi.si. (48.6%) and smoki.g (31.1%). These two factors were associ.ted i. 23.0% of cases. At di.gnosi., 85.7% of pati.nts were classi.i.d as T3 or T4 stage. Squamous cell carci.oma wi.h 58.2% was the most common hi.tologi.al type followed by urotheli.l carci.oma i. 26.0% of cases. Conclusi.n: Bladder cancer i. very common of cancer i. hospi.ali.ed pati.nts i. our department. Di.gnosi. i. more often made at an advanced stage. Synchronous transverse and sigmoid colon volvulus are very rare. We report the case of a 23-year-old man who underwent emergency surgery for sigmoid colon volvulus. An intraoperative finding of transverse colon volvulus associated with sigmoid colon volvulus was made. Left and transverse colectomy was performed followed by colorectal anastomosis. The postoperative period was uneventful. Synchronous volvulus of the transverse and sigmoid colon is a surgical emergency. The clinical signs are not specific and the discovery is often intraoperative. It is necessary to know how to evoke the diagnosis in a case of sigmoid colon volvulus, to avoid inadequate management with dramatic consequences.
