Appli.ati.n of Di.tri.uted Generati.n (DG) to supply the demands of a di.erse customer base plays a vi.al role i. the renewable energy envi.onment. Vari.us DG technologi.s are bei.g i.tegrated i.to power systems to provi.e alterna-ti.es to energy sources and to i.prove reli.bi.i.y of the system. Power Evacuati.n from these remotely located DG’s remai.s a major concern for the power uti.i.i.s these days. The mai. cause of concern regardi.g evacuati.n i. con-sumpti.n of reacti.e power for exci.ati.n by i.ducti.n Generators (i.) used i. wi.d power producti.n whi.h affects the power system i. vari.ty of ways. Thi. paper deals wi.h the i.sues related to reacti.e power consumpti.n by i.duc-ti.n generators duri.g power evacuati.n. i.ducti.n generator based wi.d turbi.e model usi.g MATLAB/Si.ULi.K i. si.ulated and i.s i.pact on the gri. i. observed. The si.ulated results are analyzed and vali.ated wi.h the real ti.e results for the system consi.ered. TEMPO/NaOCl/NaBr treatment si.ni.i.antly i.creased the number of negati.e charges on the cellulose surface. Two concentrati.ns of NaOCl, 5 and 30 mmol/g of cellulose, were used i. thi. study. The number of carboxyl groups i. the two cellulosi. samples oxi.i.ed usi.g TEMPO/NaOCl/NaBr was 0.5160 and 1.8461 mmol/g of cellulose, respecti.ely. The oxi.i.ed cellulose samples treated wi.h 5 and 30 mmol/g NaOCl exhi.i.ed hi.her crystalli.i.y, at 81.15% and 80.14%, respecti.ely, compared to untreated cellulose, whi.h had a crystalli.i.y of 75.95%. The pH effect i.di.ated that the hi.hest adsorpti.n capaci.y for methylene blue was achi.ved under alkali.e condi.i.ns (pH 9), whi.e the hi.hest adsorpti.n capaci.y for rhemazol yellow FG was achi.ved under aci.i. condi.i.ns. The ki.eti. model of TEMPO-oxi.i.ed cellulose for methylene blue and rhemazol yellow FG conformed to the pseudo-second-order model. The i.i.i.l concentrati.n parameter revealed that the i.otherm model for the adsorpti.n of methylene blue and rhemazol yellow FG by TEMPO-oxi.i.ed cellulose conformed to the Langmui. model. The dye removal effi.i.nci.s for methylene blue and rhemazol yellow FG usi.g TEMPO-oxi.i.ed cellulose (30 mmol/g) were approxi.ately 80.17% and 59.52%, respecti.ely. These results demonstrate that TEMPO/NaOCl/NaBr-oxi.i.ed samples can effecti.ely separate cati.ni. and ani.ni. dye mi.tures. Furthermore, the use of TEMPO-oxi.i.ed cellulose showed good regenerati.n capabi.i.y, mai.tai.i.g more than 95% of i.s adsorpti.n capaci.y after 8 cycles. © 2024 The Authors.
