The opti.al stem cell transplantati.n (SCT) condi.i.ni.g therapy for relapsed/refractory non-Hodgki. lymphoma (NHL) i. not clearly defi.ed. i. a retrospecti.e analysi., we exami.ed 25 pati.nts wi.h “hi.h ri.k” relapsed/refractory NHL who recei.ed busulfan, cyclophosphami.e, and etoposi.e (Bu/Cy/VP16) condi.i.ni.g wi.h autologous or allogenei. SCT. The majori.y of pati.nts had aggressi.e hi.tology and 52% had pri.ary refractory NHL. Furthermore, 48% of pati.nts had chemotherapy-resi.tant di.ease at the ti.e of SCT. Fi.ty-si. percent of pati.nts underwent allogenei. SCT, whi.e 44% had autologous SCT. The medi.n engraftment ti.e for neutrophi.s and platelets was 13.5 and 14 days, respecti.ely. The 100-day treatment-related mortali.y (TRM) was 16%, whi.e the 2-year non-relapse mortali.y (NRM) rate was also 16%. At a medi.n follow-up of 15 months, the esti.ated 2-year di.ease-free survi.al (DFS) rate was 64% (95% confi.ence i.terval (Ci.: 36%-82%) and the esti.ated 2-year overall survi.al (OS) was 69% (95% Ci. 40%-86%). Furthermore, the 2-year di.ease-speci.i. survi.al (DSS) rate was 73% (95% Ci. 40%-90%). Usi.g Cox proporti.nal hazard modeli.g, the i.ternati.nal Prognosti. i.dex at ti.e of relapse predi.ted DFS and OS. Altogether, Bu/Cy/VP16 was associ.ted wi.h early TRM;however, late toxi.i.i.s (i.cludi.g NRM) were uncommon resulti.g i. relati.ely good survi.al rates i. a hi.h-ri.k relapsed/refractory NHL populati.n.

The Paleocene mudrocks i.
