A study of the i.elasti. scatteri.g of neutrons wi.h an energy of 14.1 MeV on the nuclei.of oxygen,phosphorus,and sulfur was performed at the TANGRA faci.i.y at Ji.R(Dubna).The experi.ent ai.ed to refi.e exi.ti.g data and obtai. new data on the yi.lds and angular di.tri.uti.ns ofγ-quanta emi.ted by the studi.d nuclei.due to neutron-i.duced nuclear reacti.ns usi.g the tagged neutron *** types of detector systems were used to regi.terγ-***γ-ray yi.lds were measured usi.g a hi.h-puri.y germani.m(HPGe)*** angular di.tri.uti.ns ofγ-rays were obtai.ed usi.g a system of 18 sci.ti.lati.n detectors based on bi.muth germani.e Bi.(4)Ge_(3)O_(12)(BGO)located around the *** performed experi.ents measured the yi.lds of two transi.i.ns for the reacti.n of tagged neutrons wi.h 16O,ni.e transi.i.ns for the reacti.n wi.h ^(31)P,and ni.e transi.i.ns for the reacti.n wi.h ^(32)S for the fi.st *** angular ani.otropy of theγ-radi.ti.n accompanyi.g the i.elasti. scatteri.g of neutrons wi.h an energy of 14.1 MeV on ^(31)P nuclei.was also measured for the fi.st ti.e.

Deeply subwavelength lasers(or nanolasers)are hi.hly demanded for compact on-chi. bi.i.agi.g and sensi.g at the *** of the mai. obstacles for the development of si.gle-parti.le nanolasers wi.h all three di.ensi.ns shorter than the emi.ti.g wavelength i. the vi.i.le range i. the hi.h lasi.g thresholds and the resulti.g *** we ex-ploi. exci.on-polari.on condensati.n and mi.ror-i.age Mi. modes i. a cuboi. CsPbBr3 nanoparti.le to achi.ve coherent emi.si.n at the vi.i.le wavelength of around 0.53μm from i.s ultra-small(≈0.007μm3 or≈λ3/20)semi.onductor *** polari.oni. nature of the emi.si.n from the nanocavi.y locali.ed i. all three di.ensi.ns i. proven by di.ect com-pari.on wi.h correspondi.g one-di.ensi.nal and two-di.ensi.nal wavegui.i.g systems wi.h si.i.ar materi.l *** a deeply subwavelength nanolaser i. enabled not only by the hi.h values for exci.on bi.di.g energy(≈35 meV),re-fracti.e i.dex(>2.5 at low temperature),and lumi.escence quantum yi.ld of CsPbBr3,but also by the opti.i.ati.n of po-lari.ons condensati.n on the Mi. resonances wi.h quali.y factors i.proved by the metalli. ***,the key parameters for opti.al lasi.g condi.i.ns are i.termode free spectral range and phonons spectrum i. CsPbBr3,whi.h govern polari.ons condensati.n *** chemi.ally synthesi.ed colloi.al CsPbBr3 nanolasers can be potenti.lly de-posi.ed on arbi.rary surfaces,whi.h makes them a versati.e tool for i.tegrati.n wi.h vari.us on-chi. systems.

i.troducti.n: An omphalocele i. a congeni.al malformati.n due to a fai.ure of closure of the umbi.i.al ri.g wi.h exteri.ri.ati.n of the abdomi.al vi.cera covered by the translucent and avascular amni.ti. membrane. We report a case of gi.nt omphalocele unrecogni.ed at bi.th followed by a revi.w of the li.erature. Observati.n: Thi. was a 4-year-old gi.l admi.ted to the department for umbi.i.al swelli.g that had been present si.ce bi.th. Photoproducti.n of mesons off the deuteron:quasi.ree and coherent processes

Photoproducti.n of mesons off the deuteron has been i.vesti.ated at a tagged photon beam of the Bonn ELSA accelerator wi.h the combi.ed Crystal Barrel - TAPS electromagneti. calori.eter for i.ci.ent photon energi.s up to 2.5 GeV. The mesons have been detected i. coi.ci.ence wi.h recoi. protons, neutrons and deuterons. Thi. allow the measurement of meson producti.n reacti.ns off the quasi.ree nucleons bound i. the deutron, as well as the coherent producti.n off the deuteron. The compari.on of quasi.ree proton reacti.ns to free proton reacti.ns can confi.m or i.vali.ate possi.le nuclear effects on the extracted cross secti.n reacti.ns. Furthermore the i.ospi. composi.i.n of a resonance can be esti.ated from the compari.on of quasi.ree proton and neutron reacti.ns. The quasi.ree photoproducti.n of the η＇ and π°η mesons off nucleons and the coherent photoproducti.n of π°η--pai.s off the deuteron are di.cussed.

Surface sedi.ents were collected from Lake Manzala, the Medi.erranean coastal wetland located to the east of the Ni.e Delta, Egypt, to assess the effect of drai. effluent on the spati.l vari.ti.ns of sedi.entary characteri.ti.s and heavy metal polluti.n. Grai.-si.e composi.i.ns, textures, and heavy metal di.tri.uti.n patterns i. sedi.ents are presented usi.g Gi. techni.ue. Results of the analysi. of the sedi.ent showed a clear effect of drai. effluent, wi.h an i.crease i. fi.e fracti.ns and homogeneous suspensi.ns i. transportati.n mode. Lake sedi.ents were domi.ated by sandy mud textures, and mode of transportati.n was homogeneous sus- pensi.n and rolli.g. Spati.l di.tri.uti.n of heavy metals (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Ni. Cr, and Pb) was studi.d i. the lake’s surfi.i.l sedi.ents, along wi.h thei. relati.nshi. to drai. effluent and thei. contami.ati.n status i. the ecologi.al system. Heavy metal polluti.n status was assessed by means of accepted sedi.ent quali.y gui.eli.es and contami.ati.n assessment methods (contami.ati.n factor, con- tami.ati.n degree, modi.i.d contami.ati.n degree, geo-accumulati.n, and enri.hment factor). Among the determi.ed heavy metals, Pb had the most ecologi.al ri.k. Generally, the heavy metals i. the surface sedi.ents i.di.ated polluti.n ri.k rangi.g from moderate to consi.erable, parti.ularly, i. those si.es faci.g drai.s and i.lets that had the hi.hest toxi. effluent. The results were i.terpreted by stati.ti.al means. A cluster analysi. defi.ed areas faci.g drai. di.charge and i.lets as separated groups. ANOVA i.di.ated that most of the sedi.entati.n and studi.d metals di.ected thi. clusteri.g.

We know that our Uni.erse i. composed of only - 4.5% ＂known＂ matter; therefore, our understandi.g i. i.complete. Thi. can be seen di.ectly i. the case of neutri.o osci.lati.ns （wi.hout even consi.eri.g potenti.l other uni.erses）. Charm quarks have had consi.erable i.pact on our under- standi.g of known matter, and quantum chromodynami.s （QCD） i. the only local quantum fi.ld theory to descri.e strong forces. i. i. possi.le to learn novel lessons concerni.g strong dynami.s by measuri.g rates around the thresholds of [Q^-Q] states wi.h Q = b, c. Furthermore, these states provi.e us wi.h gateways towards new dynami.s （ND）, where we must transi.i.n from ＂accuracy＂ to ＂preci.i.n＂ eras. Fi.ally, we can make connecti.ns wi.h τ transi.i.ns and, perhaps, wi.h dark matter. Charm dynami.s acts as a bri.ge between the worlds of li.ht- and heavy-flavor hadrons （namely, beauty hadrons）, and fi.di.g regi.nal asymmetri.s i. many-body fi.al states may prove to be a ＂game changer＂. There are several di.ferent approaches to achi.vi.g these goals： for exam- ple, experi.ents such as the Super Tau-Charm Factory, Super Beauty Factory, and the Super Z~ Factory act as gatekeepers - and deeper thi.ki.g regardi.g symmetri.s.
