Thi. study was carri.d out at the Mamou Hi.her i.sti.ute of Technology duri.g the peri.d from March 10 to Apri. 15, 2022, wi.h the ai. of desi.ni.g and testi.g a solar dryer wi.h forced convecti.n by dryi.g potatoes. The dryer was desi.ned usi.g local materi.ls. i.s mai. geometri. parameters are: 1) hei.ht of the dryi.g chamber (90 cm), 2) length of the dryi.g chamber (50 cm), 3) wi.th of the dryi.g chamber (43 cm), 4) surface of the racks (0.1806 m2), 5) surface of the heat accumulator (0.2537 m2). The experi.ent focused on the vacuum test of the dryer for two days and that of the dryi.g of the sweet potato for three days from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The average vacuum test temperature values of the three envi.onments are respecti.ely accumulator (43°C), dryer chamber (41°C) and ambi.nt envi.onment (34°C). Four ki.ograms (4 kg) of boi.ed sweet potato were dri.d. The average temperatures i. the accumulator and i. the dryi.g chamber duri.g the three days of dryi.g are respecti.ely 33°C and 39°C. The fi.al mass of the dri.d product i. 1.2 kg, wi.h a quanti.y of water extracted of 2 li.ers or 63% of the i.i.i.l mass of the product. The average dryi.g rate i. 0.074 kg/h. The dryi.g ki.eti.s showed a decreasi.g rate i. the absence of the heati.g peri.d and the constant rate peri.d.

Introduction: Goitre is an increase in the volume of the thyroid gland. Goiters may be congenital or acquired, diffuse or nodular, functional or non-functional, benign or malignant. Purpose: The objectives of this work were to study and determine the frequency of benign goitre in the general surgery department of CHU Gabriel Touré, and to study epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic aspects. Patients and Method: This was a retrospective and prospective study conducted in the general surgery department of CHU Gabriel Touré, from January 1999 to December 2019. Included in the study were all patients with benign goiter confirmed in histology, hospitalized and treated in the service. Patients with thyroid malignant tumours, strumite, thyroid tract cyst, cervical abscess and neck trauma were not retained. Socio-demographic, clinical, para-clinical, therapeutic and post-operative aspects were the study parameters. Word processing and tables were done with Microsoft Word and Excel 2016 software. Data analysis was performed with Epi info7 software, the statistical test used was the Khi2 test and a value of P 0.05 was considered statistically significant. The large structure parameter of a sublevel cavi.g method was used i. Bei.i.ghe i.on mi.e. The ores were generally lower than the medi.m hardness and easy to be dri.ed and blasted. However, the questi.ns of boulder yi.ld, ＂pushi.g-wall＂ acci.ent rate, and brow damage rate were not effecti.ely controlled i. practi.al blasti.g. The model test of a si.i.ar materi.l shows that the charge concentrati.n of bottom blastholes i. the sector i. too hi.h; the pushi.g wall i. the fundamental reason for the poor blasti.g effect. One of the mai. methods to adjust the explosi.e di.tri.uti.n i. to i.crease the length of charged blastholes. Therefore, the fi.ld tests wi.h respect to i.creasi.g the length of uncharged blastholes were made i. 12# stope of-95 subsecti.n and 6# stope of Bei.i.ghe i.on mi.e. Thi. paper took the test result of 12# stope as an example to analyze the i.pact of charge structure on blasti.g effect and desi.n an appropri.te blasti.g parameter that i. to si.i.ar to No. 12 stope.

Thi. paper deals wi.h the evaluati.n of the Coeffi.i.nt of Performance (COP) of solar adsorpti.n refri.erati.n. i. the li.erature, si.ulati.n models to predi.t the thermal behavi.ur and the coeffi.i.nt of performance of these systems are uncommon. Thi. i. why we suggest a model to si.ulate the operati.n of the machi.e i. a typi.al hot and dry cli.ate of the ci.y of Ouagadougou. The objecti.e i. to provi.e a model for calculati.g the COP from the measurement of the ambi.nt temperature and the i.radi.ti.n of a gi.en si.e. Starti.g from mathemati.al modelli.g, a resoluti.n and si.ulati.n were made wi.h COMSOL software based on the Dubi.i.-Astakhov adsorpti.n model, the heat transfer balance equati.ns, and the Li.ear Dri.i.g Force (LDF) model to descri.e the thermal behavi.ur of the system. A one-week measurement sequence on the adsorpti.n solar refri.erator at the Albert Schwei.zer Ecologi.al Centre (CEAS) vali.ated the numeri.al results. The measurement shows that for the days wi.h hi.h sunshi.e, the temperature of the reacti.n medi.m reaches 110°C, and the pressure reaches 500 mbar. Thi. leads to a producti.n of cold that allows i. to reach the temperature of -5°C at the evaporator. Under these condi.i.ns, the COP i. worth 14%. These results are obtai.ed both by numeri.al si.ulati.n usi.g the COMSOL 5.1 software and after a measurement sessi.n on the solar refri.erator avai.able to the CEAS. We obtai.ed an experi.ental and theoreti.al coeffi.i.nt of performance varyi.g between 9% and 14% wi.h a di.ference of between 0% and 3%. We conclude that our model i. sui.able to esti.ate the COP of any devi.e based on i.s thermal properti.s, the ambi.nt temperature and the i.radi.ti.n of a gi.en si.e.

i.troducti.n: Stomach cancer i. a mali.nant tumor developed at the expense of the gastri. wall. Gastri. cancer i. a common cancer occupyi.g the 5th rank of cancers i. the world, or 5.7% of all cancers. Purpose: To study epi.emi.logi.al, di.gnosti., therapeuti., and prognosti. aspects of stomach cancer. Methodology: Thi. was a retrospecti.e and prospecti.e study, whi.h was carri.d out i. the General Surgery Department at the teachi.g hospi.al Gabri.l Touré between January 1, 1999, and December 31, 2020, and all cases of stomach cancer were confi.med by hi.tologi.al exami.ati.n. Result: We recorded 857 cases of stomach cancer or 40.1% of di.esti.e cancers. The sex rati. was 1.6. The average age was 55 years ± 13 years. The mai. cli.i.al si.ns were epi.astralgi. (98.6%), vomi.i.g (93.34%), wei.ht loss (96.03%), and anorexi. (46.1%). i. was adenocarci.oma (97.55%), and antropylori. locati.n (78.64%). Pati.nts were Stage i. (72.817%) cases. Among the 857 pati.nts, 722 were operated on, accounti.g for 84.25% of the cases. Surgery was palli.ti.e i. 60.66% and curati.e i. 25.62%. Gastrectomy of 4/5 plus D2 type curage was the most performed i. curati.e surgery. The medi.n overall postoperati.e survi.al was 5 months. Conclusi.n: Stomach cancer i. the most common di.esti.e cancer i. our department, the di.gnosi. i. most often late, so palli.ti.e surgery occupi.s an i.portant place.

Thus i. i. fundamental to know the parameters of thi. network and thei. vari.ti.n. Thi. paper presents an evaluati.n of the i.pact of power gri. di.turbances on the performance of a solar PV plant under real condi.i.ns. The Ci.AD photovoltai. solar plant, connected to the Senelec di.tri.uti.n network, wi.h an i.stalled capaci.y of 2 MWp i. the study setti.g. An energy audi. of the plant i. carri.d out. Then the percentage of each loss i. determi.ed: voltage drops, module degradati.n, i.verter effi.i.ncy. The durati.n of each di.connecti.n i. measured and recorded dai.y. Behçet’s di.ease (BD) i. a multi.systemi. vasculi.i. characteri.ed by a tri.d made up of oral aphthosi., geni.al aphthosi. and uvei.i. whi.h may or may not be associ.ted wi.h vi.ceral i.volvement. Other ti.es descri.ed i. the anci.nt si.k road, BD i. i.creasi.gly found i. countri.s south of the Sahara wi.h the mi.i.g of populati.ns. Our objecti.e was to descri.e the epi.emi.logy and cli.i.al characteri.ti.s of BD i. an Afri.an country. Methodology: Thi. was a fi.e-year retrospecti.e study i. the i.ternal medi.i.e department of Donka Nati.nal Hospi.al. We used i.ternati.nal cri.eri. fi.di.g BD. Uri.ary di.sti.k was use for fi.di.g ki.ney di.ease. Result: Duri.g the peri.d, fi.e cases of Behçet’s di.ease were collected. The average age was 35 years old. The male sex was more represented wi.h 3 out of 5 cases. The most common cli.i.al mani.estati.n was oral aphthosi. i. all pati.nts (100%), followed by geni.al aphthosi. i. 4 cases (80%). The other cli.i.al mani.estati.ns observed were uvei.i. i. 3 cases (60%), joi.t mani.estati.ns such as arthralgi. i. 3 cases (60%) and neurologi.al mani.estati.ns such as chroni. headache i. one case (20%). HLA-B51 was found i. two cases. The pattergi. test done i. two pati.nts came back posi.i.e (100%). The pati.nts recei.ed colchi.i.e and oral corti.osteroi. therapy. Two pati.nts were lost to si.ht. We deplored a death probably i. a neuro-Behçet table before the rebelli.us headaches. Conclusi.n: Behçet’s di.ease i. a multi.systemi. vasculi.i. that must be evoked and managed qui.kly i. a tropi.al envi.onment, especi.lly si.ce the prognosi., vi.al and functi.nal prognosi. can be engaged.

The ai. of thi. paper i. to study the atmospheri. responses as well as the preci.i.ati.n associ.ted wi.h these oceani. condi.i.ns. Based on Reynolds’s SST from 1982 to 2019, a normali.ed Northern Tropi.al Atlanti. i.dex (NTAi. i. computed i.to the regi.n between 15° - 25°W;12° - 16°N and a composi.e analysi. i. then performed. i. i. shown that the NTAi.i. si.ni.i.antly correlated wi.h the SST’s fi.st pri.ci.al component mode (PC1) i. thi. regi.n. Moreover, the composi.e of SST anomali.s and atmospheri. parameters exhi.i.s a strong local ocean-atmosphere i.teracti.n whi.h hi.hly i.pacts the large-scale atmospheri. ci.culati.n i. West Afri.a, parti.ularly i. the western Sahel. An i.-depth analysi. shows that the atmospheri. response to the warm (cold) SST i. a cycloni. (anti.ycloni.) ci.culati.n i. the lower layers near the West Afri.a Coast. Thi. cycloni. (anti.ycloni.) ci.culati.n strengthens/reduces the moi.ture transport towards the conti.ent i. the low levels. i. the mi.dle layers of the atmosphere (500 hPa), the warm (cold) composi.e i. associ.ted wi.h a decrease (i.crease) i. the i.tensi.y of the Afri.an Easterly Jet (AEJ) whereas, i. the upper atmosphere (200 hPa), the strengtheni.g (weakeni.g) of the Tropi.al Easterly Jet (TEJ) i. observed. Wi.h regard to the composi.e preci.i.ati.n fi.ld, a posi.i.e/negati.e SST anomaly i. associ.ted wi.h si.ni.i.antly enhanced/reduced rai.fall i. the western Saheli.n regi.n. i. i. found that thi. relati.nshi.
