Background:An increasing number of valid and well-designed trials have demonstrated a positive correlation between visit-to-visit variability(VVV)in systolic blood pressure(SBP)and increased risk of stroke and coronary heart disease among hypertensive ***:A cross-sectional study was conducted that involved 74 patients who visited the outpatient clinic at the Tabanan iii Primary Health Care Service during April to May *** pressure was retrospectively obtained from medical *** was classified as low or high on the basis of the standard deviation of *** medication adherence was expressed as the percentage of days covered,and sodium intake was measured with 24-hour food ***-variate analysis was performed,followed by multivariate analysis for significant ***:Among the participants,67.6%were female,with a mean(standard deviation[SD])age of 62.70(10.00)*** pressure was measured 4.82±0.78 times during the period,and the mean(SD)SBP was 139.65(10.57)mm *** and sodium intake were signifi-cantly higher in the high-VVV group than in the low-VVV group(nonadherence 13.5%vs.37.8%,P=0.033;sodium intake 1278.44±43.02 mg vs.1495.85±45.26 mg,P=0.038).After adjustment for other covariates,the differences remained significant only for nonadherence(model i exp β=3.89[95.0%confidence interval 1.23-12.34,Pii expβ=3.9[95.0%confidence interval 1.12-14.15,Pith sensitivity of 67.6%and specificity of 51.4%.Conclusion:Nonadherence to antihypertensive medication was significantly associated with higher VVV of *** study is needed to assess whether improving adherence could reduce VVV and improve cardiovascular outcomes.

The Adsorption Properties of TEMPO Oxidized Cellulose against the Mixture of Methylene Blue and Rhemazol Yellow FG

TEMPO/NaOCl/NaBr treatment significantly increased the number of negative charges on the cellulose *** concentrations of NaOCl,5 and 30 mmol/g of cellulose,were used in this *** number of carboxyl groups in the two cellulosic samples oxidized using TEMPO/NaOCl/NaBr was 0.5160 and 1.8461 mmol/g of cellulose,*** oxidized cellulose samples treated with 5 and 30 mmol/g NaOCl exhibited higher crystallinity,at 81.15%and 80.14%,respectively,compared to untreated cellulose,which had a crystallinity of 75.95%.The pH effect indicated that the highest adsorption capacity for methylene blue was achieved under alkaline conditions(pH 9),while the highest adsorption capacity for rhemazol yellow FG was achieved under acidic *** kinetic model of TEMPO-oxidized cellulose for methylene blue and rhemazol yellow FG conformed to the pseudo-second-order *** initial concentration parameter revealed that the isotherm model for the adsorption of methylene blue and rhemazol yellow FG by TEMPO-oxidized cellulose conformed to the Langmuir *** dye removal efficiencies for methylene blue and rhemazol yellow FG using TEMPOoxidized cellulose(30 mmol/g)were approximately 80.17%and 59.52%,*** results demonstrate that TEMPO/NaOCl/NaBr-oxidized samples can effectively separate cationic and anionic dye ***,the use of TEMPO-oxidized cellulose showed good regeneration capability,maintaining more than 95%of its adsorption capacity after 8 cycles.

Adjunctive platelet-rich plasma and hyaluronic acid injection after arthroscopic debridement in Kellgren-Lawrence grade 3 and 4 knee osteoarthritis

BACKGROUND Osteoarthritis(OA)is the most common cause of pain and disability,predominantly affecting the *** current management of knee OA falls short of completely stopping disease progression,particularly in Kellgren-Lawrence(KL)grade 3 and 4 knee *** such,joint replacement is often recommended,although only 15%-33%of candidates accept *** therapeutic options are still needed to prevent the progression of joint damage and delay the need for knee *** To investigate the effect of adjunctive platelet rich plasma(PRP)and hyaluronic acid(HA)after arthroscopic debridement in KL grade 3 and 4 knee *** This retrospective cohort study used the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis index(WOMAC)score and WOMAC sub-scores(pain,stiffness,and function)to assess 21 patients,grouped according to medical record data of treatment received:Arthroscopic debridement(n=7);arthroscopic debridement with PRP(n=7);or arthroscopic debridement with HA(n=7).WOMAC scores and sub-scores at baseline and at 3 mo and 5 mo posttreatment were *** three-group data were statistically analyzed using the tests of paired t,one-way analysis of variance,and post hoc least significant *** All three treatment groups showed significant improvements in WOMAC score and sub-scores from before treatment to 3 mo and 5 mo after ***,the arthroscopic debridement with PRP treatment group,in particular,showed a significantly lower WOMAC pain score than the group who received arthroscopic debridement alone at 5 mo after the procedure(P=0.03).CONCLUSiON Compared to arthroscopic debridement alone,adjunctive PRP after arthroscopic debridement significantly lessened the patients’pain symptom.

FAiR Equivalency in indonesia's Digital Health Framework

The objective of this study was to assess the regulatory framework for health data in indonesia in order to understand the policy context and explore the possibility of expanding the adoption and implementation of the FAiR Guidelines,which state that data should be Findable,Accessible,interoperable and Reusable(FAiR),in *** the FAiR Guidelines were not explicitly mentioned in any of the policy documents relevant to the indonesian digital health sector,six out of the eight documents analysed contained FAiR Equivalent *** particular,indonesia’s Population identification Number(NiK)has the potential,as a unique identifier,to support the integration and interoperability(findability)of data,which is crucial to all other aspects of the FAiR *** is also a plan to build standards and protocols into the implementation of information systems in each ministry and government agency to improve data accessibility(accessibility),the integration of the various information systems is planned/ongoing(interoperability),and the need for a standardised arrangement for health information systems related to health data following the community standard is recognised(reusability).The documents at the core of indonesia’s digital health/e Health policy have the highest FAiR Equivalency Score(FE-Score),showing some degree of alignment between the indonesian digital health implementation vision and the FAiR *** indicates that indonesia’s digital health sector is open to using the FAiR Guidelines.

Arterial Duct Stenting Versus Modified Blalock-Taussig Shunt in Patient with Ductal-Dependent Pulmonary Circulation: Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis

Hernia mesh prevent dislocation after wide excision and reconstruction of giant cell tumor distal radius

Giant cell tumor(GCT) remains as major health problem. GCT which located at the lower end of the radius tends to be more aggressive. Wide excision and reconstruction of the wrist in stage 3 of distal radius GCT lesion is an optimal modality to prevent tumor recurrence. However, dislocation often occurs as its complication. We are reporting patient with GCT of distal radius treated with wide excision and reconstruction using nonvascularized fibular graft and the addition of hernia mesh. Circumferential non-absorbable polypropylene hernia mesh was applied, covered radioulnar joint and volar aspect of radius, and served as additional support to prevent dislocation. During five years and two months of follow-up, we found no dislocation in our patient. Furthermore, good functional outcome was obtained. Our finding suggests that the addition of hernia mesh after wide excision and reconstruction with nonvascularized fibular graft may benefit to prevent dislocation and provides an excellent functional outcome.

The Effect of Real Activities Manipulation on Accrual Earnings Management： The Case in indonesia Stock Exchange （iDX）

There are three ways to manage earnings, namely, accruals earnings management, real activities manipulation, and shifting of core expense. The famous methods to manage earnings are accruals earnings management and real activities manipulation. Usually, real activities manipulation is conducted on the going period. The action will increase the loss for the firms at the end of the period. To avoid the loss, managers will manage earnings through accruals （discretionary accruals）. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate whether real activities manipulation positively influences accruals earnings management. To investigate the issue, this study collected data from indonesia Stock Exchange （iDX）. Samples of this study are the manufacturing companies. There are 196 firms from the year 2003 to 2007. The results of this study support the research hypothesis that real activities manipulation positively influences accruals earnings management. The higher the real activities manipulation effects, the higher the accruals earnings management at the end of the *** are three ways to manage earnings, namely, accruals earnings management, real activities manipulation, and shifting of core expense.
