通过氮掺杂TiO_(2)(N-TiO_(2))浸渍蜂窝过滤器构建了一系列原型光催化空气净化器(AP(N_(x)-C_(y)))系统,并用于在UV-LED光(1 W)照射条件下光催化分解0.5-5 ppm甲醛(ch_(2)O)蒸汽.在上述催化过滤器系统中,Nx和Cy分别代表N/Ti摩尔比(0-20)和N-TiO_(2)浓度(2-20 mg mL^(-1)).光催化分解实验结果表明,AP(N_(10)-C_(10))的性能最好,其催化ch2O转化为CO_(2)的转化率最高,循环反应10次后CO_(2)产率仍达到89.2%,在干燥空气中的清洁空气输送速率为9.45 L min^(-1).N10-C10的电荷载流子寿命(τa:1.70 ns)优于其他样品(如纯TiO_(2)的电荷载流子寿命为1.37 ns),这表明N缺陷(No)有助于降低带隙(3.10 eV)和产生氧空位OVs-Ti^(3+),这与密度泛函理论(DFT)模拟结果一致.采用原位漫反射红外傅里叶变换、电子顺磁共振和DFT分析等多种方法研究了ch_(2)O的光催化氧化途径.结果表明,氧化过程涉及多个能量有利的中间步骤(例如ch2O以ch_(2)O_(2)的形式在TiO_(2)-OV{110}表面的桥连O/OH基团上发生放热共价吸附,随后通过催化脱氢/氧化反应直接生成CO_(2):ch_(2)O_(2)/HCOO^(-)+•OH→H_(2)O+CO_(2)).这些步骤与具有N杂质的{101}表面上化学活性Ti原子的态密度计算结果一致.预计No缺陷和OVs的存在将通过降低活化能垒来影响反应能量和中间产物,从而在加湿条件下实现有效的矿化.综上,本文为设计和构建先进的光催化系统,并用于环境空气中醛类挥发性有机物(VOCs)的有效矿化提供了新思路.

Daily meat consumption produces a lot of bone waste, and dumped bone waste without treatment would result in environmental hazards. Conventional treatment methods of waste bones have some disadvantages. Herein, an investigation of bone waste treated using thermal plasma technology is presented. A high-temperature plasma torch operated at 25.2 kW was used to treat bone waste for seven minutes. The bone waste was finally changed into vitric matter and lost 2/3 of its weight after the treatment. The process was highly efficient, economical, convenient, and fuel-free. This method could be used as an alternative for disposal of bone waste, small infectious animals, hazardous hospital waste, etc.

AiM: To describe the clinical features and multimodal images of unilateral foveomacular retinitis in young Korean soldiers. METHODS: Ten patients having foveomacular retinitis were included. Fluorescein angiography, fundus autofluorescence(FAF), infrared reflectance(iR), and spectral-domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT) were ***: All patients were young males experienced insidious visual decline without exposure to bright light. initial and final vision ranged from hand movement to 20/20(median 20/200) and 20/2000 to 20/20(median 20/500), respectively. Vision decreased in 6 patients while improved in two. Typical macular abnormality was yellow granular spots. SD-OCT showed ellipsoid zone(EZ) or interdigitation zone(iZ) disruption of fovea. The degree of EZ/iZ damage correlated with vision. Lesions were clearly visualized through iR and matched with SD-OCT ***: This is the first case series of foveomacular retinitis diagnosed with multimodal imaging. Foveomacular retinitis should be suspected in sudden unilateral visual decline especially in young soldiers. SD-OCT is the most important diagnostic modality.

BACKGROUND Although premalignant duodenal lesions such as adenomas are uncommon,the incidences of these lesions have increased in recent times,and thus,the demand for minimally invasive treatments such as endoscopic resection(ER)has also ***,ER in the duodenum is more challenging than ER in other locations of the gastrointestinal *** To evaluate the safety and efficacy of ER for superficial nonampullary duodenal epithelial tumors(SNADETs)METHODS We performed a retrospective observational study on 56 consecutive patients(58 lesions)diagnosed with SNADETs that underwent ER from January 2011 to December 2020 at Yeungnam University *** demographics,lesion characteristics,and procedural and tech.ical data were collected,and clinical outcomes,including procedure-related complications,completeness of resection,and recurrence were *** Median patient age was 57 years[range,26–77,30(53.6%)men].Endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)was performed on 57 lesions(98.3%)and snare polypectomy on one(1.7%).Lesions consisted of 52 adenomas with low-grade dysplasia(89.7%),3 adenomas with high-grade dysplasia(5.2%),and 3 intramucosal adenocarcinomas(5.2%).There were 16 cases of intraprocedural bleeding(27.6%)and 1 case of delayed bleeding(1.7%),and all these 17 cases were successfully managed *** perforation or procedure-related death *** lesion size was associated with an increased risk of EMR-related bleeding(P=0.033).During a median follow-up period of 23 mo(range 6–100 mo),no local recurrence occurred,despite the fact one-third of the patients(19 lesions,32.8%)underwent piecemeal resection and 3 patients(3 lesions,5.2%)that underwent en bloc resection had a pathologically determined positive lateral *** patient died from a primary duodenal *** The majority of SNADETs can be safely and curatively resected by EMR,and thus,based on consideration of the high incidence of fatal complications attribut

AiM:To evaluate the treatment options for nephrotoxicity due to cisplatin combination ***:We retrospectively reviewed patients who had received cisplatin combination chemotherapy for gastric cancer between January 2002 and December *** investigated patients who had shown acute renal failure(ARF),and examined their clinical characteristics,laboratory data,use of preventive measures,treatment cycles,the amount of cisplatin administered,recovery period,subsequent treatments,and renal status between the recovered and unrecovered ***:Forty-one of the 552 patients had serum creatinine(SCR)levels greater than 1.5 mg/*** found that pre-ARF SCR,ARF SCR,and ARF glomerular filtration rates were significantly associated with renal status postARF between the two groups(P=0.008,0.026,0.026,respectively).On the receiver operating characteristic curve of these values,a 1.75 mg/dL ARF SCR value had 87.5%sensitivity and 84.8%specificity(P=0.011).CONCLUSiON:Cessation or reduction of chemotherapy should be considered for patients who have an elevation of SCR levels during cisplatin combination chemotherapy.

The effectiveness of photoelectrochemical(PEC)water splitting is significantly restricted by insufficient light harvesting,rapid charge recombination,and slow water reduction *** the presence of amorphous phases in the interfaces hinders the overcome of these inherent limitations,a photoelectrode must be built ***,we artificially controlled the crystallographic orientation of indium tin oxide(iTO)to determine the orientation with the smallest lattice mismatch at the Cu_(2)O interface,thus significantly reducing the amorphous phase in the early stage of electrodeposition ***[222]/[400]mixed orientation iTO primarily exposed the{400}surface planes and accelerated charge transfer by forming an optimal interface with preferentially grown(111)oriented Cu_(2)O and minimized amorphous *** addition,the iTO surface energy was calculated using density functional theory to theoretically verify which plane is more active for growing the photoactivation *** rationally designed iTO/Cu_(2)O/Al-dope Zn O/TiO_(2)/Rh-P device,with each layer serving a specific purpose,achieved a photocurrent density of 8.23 mA cm^(-2)at 0 VRHEunder AM 1.5 G illumination,providing a standard method for effective solar-to-hydrogen conversion photocathodes.
