Cus is an encouraging photoelectrode candidate that meets the essential requirements for efficient solar-to-hydrogen production,but it has not been thoroughly studied.A Cus light absorber layer is grown by the self-assembly of copper and sulfur precursors on a carbon paper(CP)***,rGO is introduced as a buffer layer to control the optical and electrical properties of the *** well-ordered microstructural arrangement suppresses the recombination loss of electrons and holes owing to enhanced charge-carrier generation,separation,and *** potential reaching 10 mA cm^(-2)in 1.0 M KOH solution is significantly lowered to 0.87 V,and the photocurrent density at 1.23 V is 94.7 mA cm^(-2).The computational result reveals that the potential-determining step is sensitive to O^(*)stability;the lower stability of O^(*)in the thin layer of Cus/rGO decreases the free-energy gap between the initial and final states of the potential-determining step,resulting in a lowering of the onset *** faradaic efficiency for the photoelectrochemical oxygen evolution reaction in the optimized 2Cus/1rGO/CP photoanode is 98.60%,and the applied bias photon-to-current and the solar-to-hydrogen efficiencies are 11.2%and 15.7%,respectively,and its ultra-high performance is maintained for 250 *** record-breaking achievement indices may be a trigger for establishing a green hydrogen economy.

A data-driven reduced-order model for stiff chemical kinetics using dynamics-informed training

A data-based reduced-order model(ROM)is developed to accelerate the time integration of stiff chemically reacting systems by effectively removing the stiffness arising from a wide spectrum of chemical time ***,the objective of this work is to develop a ROM that acts as a non-stiff surrogate model for the time evolution of the thermochemical state vector(temperature and species mass fractions)during an otherwise highly stiff and nonlinear ignition *** model follows an encode-forecast-decode strategy that combines a nonlinear autoencoder(AE)for dimensionality reduction(encode and decode steps)with a neural ordinary differential equation(NODE)for modeling the dynamical system in the AE-provided latent space(forecasting step).By means of detailed timescale analysis by leveraging the dynamical system Jacobians,this work shows how data-based projection operators provided by autoencoders can inherently construct the latent spaces by removing unnecessary fast timescales,even more effectively than physics-based counterparts based on an eigenvalue analysis.A key finding is that the most significant degree of stiffness reduction is achieved through an end-to-end training strategy,where both AE and neural ODE parameters are optimized simultaneously,allowing the discovered latent space to be *** addition to end-to-end training,this work highlights the vital contribution of AE nonlinearity in the stiffness reduction *** the prediction of homogeneous ignition phenomena for H2-air and C2H4-air mixtures,the proposed ROM achieves several ordersof-magnitude increase in the integration time step size when compared to(a)a baseline CVODE solver for the full-chemical system,(b)statistical technique–principal component analysis(PCA),and(c)computational singular perturbation(CsP),a vetted physics-based stiffness-reducing modeling framework.

Model dependent analysis of D^(+)_(s)→η^(′)l+v_(l) decays in beyond standard model

Motivated by the recent experimental results of branching fractions for D^(+)_(s)→η^(′)l+v_(l) decays,which deviate from their sM predictions,we hve investigated these decays in W' model and scalar leptoquark model to determine potential signatures of new physics(NP) in semileptonic charm decays induced by c→(s,d)l+v_(l) *** recent experimental results of branching fractions for semileptonic D meson decays,new coupling parameters are predicted for the aforementioned NP *** fraction,forward-backward asymmetry,and lepton polarization asymmetry are examined by considering the predicted NP coupling *** results of branching fractions in scalar leptoquark model are found very close to the experimental results and exist around the range of 1σ *** presented a comparative study of the NP models to check their sensitivity on these *** anticipate that further research on these decays will significantly support our findings.

Astrophysical s-factor and reaction rate for 15N(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

We study radiative p^(15)N capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(MPCM)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)N(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)s_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)M1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy s-factor,and the extrapolated s(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(AC)for the ^(15)N(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the s-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong impact of the interference of ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CNO Gamow windows,especially at low *** es.imate the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade transitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)N(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the MPCM and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.
