Scalp Acupuncture for parkinson's Disease:A Systematic Review of Randomized Controlled Trials

Objective： To evaluate the effectiveness of scalp acupuncture （SA）, a modern acupuncture technique specialized to neurological disorders, in managing motor function and symptoms for parkinson＇s disease （PD） patients. Methods： Two independent reviewers extracted data from all of the randomized clinical trials （RCTs） that assessed the efficacy of SA for PD compared with conventional therapies （CTs）. Sixteen electronic databases were searched. The risk of bias was appraised with the Cochrane Collaboration tool, and the reporting of the included studies was evaluated by the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials （CONSORT） 2010 checklist and the revised Standards for Reporting Interventions in Clinical Trials of Acupuncture （STRICTA） guidelines. Results： In total, 4 RCTs met the inclusion criteria. As assessed by the Unified PD Rating Scale （UPDRS）, 2 RCTs showed that SA combined with CTs proved superior to CTs alone [60 cases; weighted mean difference, -3.94; 95% confidence interval （CI）, -6.05 to -1.64, P=0.01; 12=0%]. Based on the Webster scale, however, 3 RCTs showed no superior effect of SA when combined with CTs with high heterogeneity （154 cases; risk ratio, 1.29; 95% CI, 0.79 to 2.12, P=0.30; 12=84%）. The Cochrane risk of bias, adherence to the CONSORT and the STRICTA checklist showed that the quality of all the included RCTs was generally low. Conclusions： The result of our systematic review and meta-analysis suggested that the effectiveness of SA for PD is promising, however, the evidence is not convincing. A sham-controlled RCT design that adheres to the CONSORT and STRICTA guidelines to overcome methodological weakness and that includes a large sample size is strongly recommended to confirm the precise effect of SA on PD.

Background:Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)are effective in a subset of patients with metastatic solid ***,the patients who would benefit most from ICIs in biliary tract cancer(BTC)are still *** and methods:We molecularly characterized tissues and blood from 32 patients with metastatic BTC treated with the ICI pembrolizumab as second-line ***:All patients had microsatellite stable(MSS)type *** of the 32 patients achieved partial response(PR),with an objective response rate(ORR)of 9.4%(95%confidence interval[CI],2.0–25.2)and nine showed stable disease(SD),exhibiting a disease control rate(DCR)of 37.5%(95%CI,21.1–56.3).For the 31 patients who had access to PD-1 ligand 1(PD-L1)combined positive score(CPS)testing(cut-off value≥1%),the ORR was not different between those who had PD-L1-positive(PD-L1+;1/11,9.1%)and PDL1-(2/20,10.0%)tumors(p=1.000).The tumor mutational burden(TMB)of PD-L1+BTC was comparable to that of PD-L1-BTC(p=0.630).TMB and any exonic somatic mutations were also not predictive of pembrolizumab *** analysis of blood and tumor samples demonstrated a relatively high natural killer(NK)cell proportion in the peripheral blood before pembrolizumab treatment in patients who achieved tumor ***,the tumors of these patients presented high enrichment scores for NK cells,antitumor cytokines,and Th1 signatures,and a low enrichment score for cancer-associated ***:This study shows the molecular characteristics associated with the efficacy of pembrolizumab in BTC of the MSS type.

传统医学在中国、韩国、日本均比较受欢迎。通过查阅政府网站、相关研究报告,总结比较三个国家传统医学在政策、教育方面的异同。结果表明,中韩两国的传统医学体系较为相似,而日本传统医学体系与两者差异较大。在教育方面,中韩两国都是双系统教学体系,传统医学与现代医学共同教学。平均每个传统医学专业学生要接受6年的教育才能有资格行医。针刺、艾灸、拔罐等均是纳入医保的医疗手法。然而,在日本,常规西医占主流地位,只有一些主流传统医学治疗方法才被纳入医保。三个国家传统医学的异同都是基于各国多年文化背景与相关政策的影响,了解其异同有利于相互学习、共同进步。

Prominent cycling reversibility and kinetics enabled by CaTiO3 protective layer on Zn metal for aqueous Zn-ion batteries

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries （AZIBs） have received considerable attention owing to their various advantages such as safety,low cost,simple battery assembly conditions,and high ionic ***,they still suffer from serious problems,including uncontrollable dendrite growth,corrosion,hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） from water decomposition,electrode passivation,and unexpected *** creation of a uniform artificial nanocrystal layer on the Zn anode surface is a promising strategy for resolving these ***,we propose the use of a perovskite CaTiO3（CTO） protective layer on Zn（CTO@Zn） as a promising approach for improving the performance of *** CTO artificial layer provides an efficient pathway for Zn ion diffusion towards the Zn metal because of the high dielectric constant （εr=180） and ferroelectric characteristics that enable the alignment of dipole moments and redistribute the Zn2+ions in the CTO *** avoiding the direct contact of the Zn anode with the electrolyte solution,the uneven dendrite growth,corrosion,parasitic side reactions,and HER are mitigated,while CTO retains its mechanical and chemical robustness during ***,CTO@Zn demonstrates an improved lifespan in a symmetric cell configuration compared with bare ***@Zn shows steady overpotential （～68 m V） for 1500 h at 1 mA cm-2/0.5 mA h cm-2,excelling bare ***,when paired with the V2O5-C cathode,the CTO@Zn//V2O5-C full battery delivers 148.4 mA h g-1（based on the mass of the cathode） after 300 *** study provides new insights into Zn metal anodes and the development of high-performance AZIBs.

目的评价卵巢恶性肿瘤患者治疗后;F-FDG PET/CT显像的诊断和预后价值。方法回顾性分析卵巢恶性肿瘤患者治疗后的FDG PET/CT显像结果,计算PET/CT诊断肿瘤复发或第二原发肿瘤的准确性,并评价其对患者诊疗过程的影响。用Cox回归分析PET/CT显像结果与患者总体生存率的关系。结果 268例卵巢恶性肿瘤患者[平均年龄（50±13）岁]共行416次PET/CT显像,其中87次（21%）结果阳性,329次结果阴性;灵敏度、特异性、准确性、阳性预测值和阴性预测值分别为98.8%、98.2%、98.3%、93.1%和99.7%。362次随访显像中,38次（11%）的显像结果使患者治疗决策发生了改变;54次因临床有可疑征象而进行的PET/CT显像中,9次（17%）显像排除了肿瘤复发。PET/CT显像后进行了中位时间26.7个月的随访,24例（9%）患者在随访期内死亡。单因素分析结果发现,患者年龄、国际妇产科联盟（FIGO）分期、复发病史和PET/CT显像结果均与患者的总体生存率相关。多因素分析结果显示,PET/CT显像结果与患者的总体生存率相关（P<0.05）。结论卵巢恶性肿瘤治疗后FDG PET/CT是诊断复发和第二原发肿瘤的有效方法,其便于对患者采用更合适的治疗手段,并能帮助预测预后。

Single-step Preparation of Nano-homogeneous NiO/YSZ Composite Anode for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

Homogeneous co-precipitation and hydrothermal treatment were used to prepare nano- and highly dispersed Ni O/YSZ(yttria-stabilized zirconia) composite powders. Composite powders of size less than 100 nm were successfully prepared. This process did not require separate sintering of the YSZ and Ni O to be used as the raw materials for solid oxide fuel cells. The performance of a cell fabricated using the new powders(*** density ~0.87 W/cm^2) was higher than that of a cell fabricated using conventional powders(max. power density ~0.73 W/cm^2). Co-precipitation and hydrothermal treatment proved to be very effective processes for reducing cell production costs as well as improving cell performance.

Changes of the Flowering Time of Trees in Spring by Climate Change in Seoul, South Korea

Flowering onset has attracted much attention in ecological research as an important indicator of climate ***,warmer temperatures advance flowering *** effect of climate warming on flowering onset is more pronounced in spring because the difference between atmospheric and water temperatures creates more rapid convection than in other *** analyzed the correlation between 73 species of spring woody plants in Hongneung Arboretum in Seoul,South Korea and the spring minimum temperature and average precipitation over the past 50 years(1968–2018).The spring minimum temperature and average precipitation have increased over the past 50 years,resulting in the advance of the first flowing date(FFD)in all 73 species by 8.5 days on average.A comparison of FFD changes over time by dividing the survey period into three time periods confirmed the advance of the FFD in 50 species(68%of investigated species)by 11.1 days on average in both Period 2(1999–2008)and Period 3(2009–2018)relative to Period 1(1968–1975).Additionally,a delay of the FFD by 3.2 days on average was observed in 8 *** FFD of Lonicera chrysantha(Caprifoliaceae)advanced by over 40 days and was highly correlated with the increased spring minimum *** of the sensitivity of plant responses to climate change revealed that a temperature rise of 1℃ was associated with an FFD advance of 1.2 days in all *** species that was most sensitive to temperature change was Spiraea pubescens ***(Rosaceae),whose FFD advanced by 4.7 days per 1℃ temperature *** increase in precipitation by 1 mm was found to result in a 0.1-day advance of the FFD of all *** tomentosa(Rosa-ceae)was the most sensitive species,that advanced by 2.6 days for each 1 mm increase in ***,for all species,the FFD was more sensitive to the change in temperature than in *** that the current greenhouse gas(GHGs)emission levels or atmospheric CO_(2) conc

The Effect of Fabrication Conditions for GDC Buffer Layer on Electrochemical Performance of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

A Gd-doped ceria（GDC） buffer layer is required between a conventional yttria-stabilized zirconia（YSZ） electrolyte and a La-Sr-Co-Fe-O3（LSCF） cathode to prevent their chemical reaction. In this study,the effect of varying the conditions for fabricating the GDC buffer layer, such as sintering temperature and amount of sintering aid, on the solid oxide fuel cell（SOFC） performance was investigated. A finer GDC powder（i.e., ultra-high surface area）, a higher sintering temperature（1290℃）, and a larger amount of sintering aid（12%） resulted in improved densification of the buffer layer; however, the electrochemical performance of an anode-supported cell containing this GDC buffer layer was poor. These conflicting results are attributed to the formation of（Zr, Ce）O2 and/or excess cobalt grain boundaries（GBs） at higher sintering temperatures with a large amount of sintering aid（i.e., cobalt oxide）. A cell comprising of a cobalt-free GDC buffer layer, which was fabricated using a low-temperature process, had lower cell resistance and higher stability. The results indicate that electrochemical performance and stability of SOFCs strongly depend on fabrication conditions for the GDC buffer layer.

In this paper, we investigate the influence of boundary dissipation on the de-cay property of solutions for a transmission problem of Kirchhoff type wave equation with boundary memory condition. By introducing suitable energy and Lyapunov functionals, we establish a general decay estimate for the energy, which depends on the behavior of relaxation function.
