Anisotropy of.Magnetic Susceptibility (AMS) of.Bostonite Rocks, Um-Gir and el-Atshan-II Uranium Prospect Areas, Central Eastern Desert, Egypt

Um-Gir and el-Atshan-II areas represent important structurally-controlled radioactive anomalies and have become promising areas f.r U exploration. The bostonite rocks represent the most promising rock unit in the two studied areas. They f.rm the most promising rocks due to their high radioactivity and, hence uranium mineralization. Anisotropy of.magnetic susceptibility (AMS) measurements was carried out f.r Um-Gir and el-Atshan-II bostonite rocks. The AMS results show that the mean magnitude of.magnetic susceptibilities is low, of.the order of.10-5 S.I. units. Consequently, the bostonite rocks of.the two areas are considered as non-magnetic, ref.ecting the presence of.hematite as the main f.rromagnetic mineral. These results are in agreement with the measurements of.initial remnant magnetization (NRM) and the results of.isothermal remnant magnetization (IRM) f.r the two areas. Besides, the results of.magnetic anisotropy degree (PJ), ref.r to and concluded that the magnetic f.bric of.bostonite of.two the areas has secondary f.bric. AMS results clearly show the dif.erences between the bostonite dyke of.Um-Gir and Bostonite sill of.el Atshan-II. The lineation (P1) > f.liation (P3), and the negative values of.the ellipsoid shape (T) of.Um-Gir bostonite ref.ect clearly magnetic lineation (prolate ellipsoid). However, in el Atshan-II, (P3 > P1), the values of.T are positive, which indicate the predominance of.magnetic f.liation (oblate ellipsoid) over lineation. f.rthermore, the f.liation planes of.the bostonite dyke of.Um-Gir possess a shallow to moderate inclination and a nearly N-S direction, while, the f.liation planes of.the bostonite sill of.el-Atshan-II show a shallow to moderate inclination and a NNE direction. f.nally, the AMS method is a powerf.l tool f.r detecting the structures that af.ect

Horizontal Loop electromagnetic (HLEM) and Induced Polarization (IP) methods have been carried out within Um Salim gold mine area. The study area reveals special importance, as it comprises rock units, which show some indication of.the presence of.various mineralization. The result of.HLEM has shown signif.cant and well-def.ned conductive zones are recorded along with the four used frequencies (110 Hz, 440 Hz, 1760 Hz, and 7040 Hz) at the station 2,782,900 and station 2,782,880 of two (HLEM) profiles (596,050 N & 596,240 N) respectively, that may reflect the sources of the conductive bodies are situated at shallow depths continued to considerable depths. The result of IP exhibits a strong anomalous zone centered at stations 140 and 240, with chargeability values ranging (37 to more than 120 mV/V) on chargeability model section, and corresponding to high resistivity on resistivity model section which may reflect considerable surface and subsurface disseminated mineralization. Through the integration between HLEM and IP a core drilling is recommended at station 140 on IP profile which coincides with station 2,782,850 on HLEM profile (596,240 N) to a depth of concerning 100m take a look at the thickness, depth, and grade of mineralization.

Ef.ect of.Conductive f.llers on the Cyclic Stress-Strain and Nano-Scale f.ee Volume Properties of.Silicone Rubber

The ef.ect of.carbon black （CB） and graphite （G） powders on the macroscopic and nano-scale f.ee volume properties of.silicone rubber based on poly（di-methylsiloxane）（PDMS） was studied through thermal and cyclic mechanical measurements, as well as with positron annihilation lif.time spectroscopy （PALS）. The melting temperature of.the composites （Tm） and the endothermic enthalpy of.melting （ΔHm） were estimated by dif.erential scanning calorimetry （DSC）. Tm and the degree of.crystallinity （χc） of.PDMS composites were f.und to decrease with increasing the CB content. This can be explained due to the increase in physical cross-linking which results in a decrease in the crystallite thickness. Besides, χc was f.und to be dependent on the f.ller type. Cyclic stress-strain behavior of.PDMS loaded with dif.erent contents of.f.ller has been studied. Mullins ratio （RM） was f.und to be dependent on the f.ller type and content. It was f.und that, RM increases with increasing the f.ller content due to the increase in physical cross-linking which results in a decrease in the size of.f.ee volume, as observed through a decrease of.the o-Ps lif.time τ3 measured by PALS. Moreover, the hysteresis in PDMS-CB composites was more pronounced than in PDMS-G composites. f.rthermore, a correlation was established between the f.ee volume Vf.and the mechanical properties of.PDMS composites containing dif.erent f.llers. A negative correlation was observed between Vf.and RM.

Stationary motions of.the system are determined and periodic motions near to them are constructed using the Lyapounof. theorem of.the holomorphic integral.

Spectral collocation method f.r solving continuous population models f.r single and interacting species by means of.exponential Chebyshev approximation

In this paper, an ef.icient and accurate method is presented to solve continuous population models f.r single and interacting species using spectral collocation method with exponential Chebyshev (EC) f.nctions. The f.rst problem is a logistic growth model in a population, while the second problem is a prey-predator model: Lotka-Volterra system, the tbird is a simple 2-species Lotka-Volterra competition model, and the f.nal one is a prey-predator model with limit cycle periodic behavior. The high accuracy of.this method is verif.ed through some numerical examples. The obtained numerical results are compared with other methods, showing that the proposed method gives higher accuracy.

A Suitable Active Control f.r Suppression the Vibrations of.a Cantilever Beam

Microbial f.el cells(M f.s)represent a new approach f.r treating w aste w ater along w ith electricity *** present study addressed electricity production f.om domestic w astew ater using a mediator-less double chamber M *** electricity production w as monitored under dif.erent operational conditions f.r both summer and w inter *** of.the anodic and cathodic chambers resulted in a maximal current of.0.784 and 0.645 m A w ith the maximal pow er intensity of.209 and 117 m W/m2in pow er duration of.24 h f.r the summer and w inter samples,*** electron microscopy show ed that the bacterial biof.lm f.rmation on the anode w as denser f.r the summer sample than that w hen the w inter sample w as used,so w as the total bacterial ***,samples taken during summer w ere considered better in electricity production and w aste w ater treatment than those taken during w inter basically because of.the high microbial load during the hot *** parallel,there w as a decrease in both biological oxygen demand(BOD5)and chemical oxygen demand(COD)values which reached 71.8%and 72.85%,respectively at the end of.the operation process f.r the summer sample,w hile there w as no evident decrease f.r the w inter *** the operating conditions not only increased the potential of.using domestic w aste w ater in microbial f.el cells to produce electricity,but also improved the quality of.the domestic w aste w ater.

At present,the immense development of.social networks allows generating a signif.cant amount of.textual data,which has f.cilitated researchers to explore the f.eld of.opinion *** addition,the processing of.textual opinions based on the term f.equency-inverse document f.equency method gives rise to a dimensionality *** study aims to detect the nature of.opinions in the Arabic language employing a swarm intelligence(SI)-based algorithm,Harris hawks algorithm,to select the most relevant *** experimental study has been tested on two datasets:Arabic Jordanian General Tweets and Opinion Corpus f.r *** terms of.accuracy and number of.f.atures,the results are better than those of.other SI based algorithms,such as grey wolf.optimizer and grasshopper optimization algorithm,and other algorithms in the literature,such as dif.erential evolution,genetic algorithm,particle swarm optimization,basic and enhanced whale optimizer algorithm,slap swarm algorithm,and ant–lion optimizer.
