Energy management is an inspiring domain in developing of renewable energy ***,the growth of decentralized energy production is revealing an increased complexity for power grid managers,inferring more quality and reliability to regulate electricity flows and less imbalance between electricity production and *** major objective of an energy management system is to achieve optimum energy procurement and utilization throughout the organization,minimize energy costs without affecting production,and minimize environmental *** energy management is an essential and complex subject because of the excessive consumption in residential buildings,which necessitates energy optimization and increased user *** address the issue of energy management,many researchers have developed various frameworks;while the objective of each framework was to sustain a balance between user comfort and energy consumption,this problem hasn’t been fully solved because of how difficult it is to solve *** inclusive and Intelligent Energy Management System(IEMS)aims to provide overall energy efficiency regarding increased power generation,increase flexibility,increase renewable generation systems,improve energy consumption,reduce carbon dioxide emissions,improve stability,and reduce energy *** Learning(ML)is an emerging approach that may be beneficial to predict energy efficiency in a better way with the assistance of the Internet of Energy(IoE)*** IoE network is playing a vital role in the energy sector for collecting effective data and usage,resulting in smart resource *** this research work,an IEMS is proposed for Smart Cities(SC)using the ML technique to better resolve the energy management *** proposed system minimized the energy consumption with its intelligent nature and provided better outcomes than the previous approaches in terms of 92.11% accuracy,and 7.89% miss-rate.

This paper deals with running the lowest number of virtualized datacenter machines with the least completion time and efficient consumption of *** computing is based on the concept of offering computation services that are executed in datacenters. These datacenters require huge amount of power if they are at the peak load or the tasks are not distributed efficiently in their machines. Reducing power consumption has been an essential requirement for cloud resource providers not only to decrease operating costs, but also to improve the system *** paper addresses the issue of minimizing power consumption in datacenter servers and improving their load balancing simultaneously. An algorithm for task scheduling in virtualized datacenters is presented, that works in two phases;firstly lowering the number of running machines to decrease power consumption and secondly reducing the total datacenter load. An empirical study was done to simulate the proposed algorithm using a discrete events simulator. The results show an improvement in the datacenter load and power consumption.

Entirely subcutaneous defibrillator and complex congenital heart disease: Data on long-term clinical follow-up

AIM To describe the long-term follow-up of patients with complex congenital heart disease who underwent subcutaneous implantable cardiac defibrillator(S-ICD), focusing on local complications, appropriate and inappropriate *** Patients with complex congenital heart disease underwent S-ICD implant in two centers with the conventional technique. Data at follow-up were retrieved from clinical notes and institutional database. RESULTS Eight patients were implanted in two centres between 2010 and 2016. Median age at implant was 37.5 years(range 13-57). All patients who were deemed suitable for S-ICD implant passed the pre-procedural screening. Three patients were previously implanted with a antibradycardia device, one of whom with CRT. In one patient the device was explanted due to local infection. Duringthe total median follow-up of 874 d, one patient had an appropriate and one inappropriate shock triggered by fast atrial tachycardia. None of the patients had inappropriate shocks secondary to T wave oversensing or electrical interference with anti-bradycardia *** S-ICD appears to be effective and safe in patients with complex congenital heart disease.

In the world of big data,it’s quite a task to organize different files based on their *** with heterogeneous data and keeping a record of every single file stored in any folder is one of the biggest problems encountered by almost every computer *** of file management related tasks will be solved if the files on any operating system are somehow categorized according to their ***,the browsing process can be performed quickly and *** research aims to design a system to automatically organize files based on their similarities in terms of *** proposed methodology is based on a novel strategy that employs the charactaristics of both supervised and unsupervised machine learning approaches for learning categories of digital files stored on any computer *** results demonstrate that the proposed architecture can effectively and efficiently address the file organization challenges using real-world user *** results suggest that the proposed system has great potential to automatically categorize almost all of the user files based on their *** proposed system is completely automated and does not require any human effort in managing the files and the task of file organization become more efficient as the number of files grows.

Speckle-interferometric Study of Close Visual Binary System HIP 11253(HD 14874)using Gaia(DR2 and EDR3)

We present a comprehensive set of physical and geometrical parameters for each of the components of the close visual binary system HIP 11253(HD 14874).We present an analysis for the binary and multiple stellar systems with the aim to obtain a match between the overall observational spectral energy distribution of the system and the spectral synthesis created from model atmospheres using Al-Wardat's method for analyzing binary and multiple stellar *** epoch positions are used to determine the orbital parameters and the total *** parameters of both components are derived as:T_(eff)^(a)=6025,T_(eff)^(b)=4710,logg_(a)=4.55,logg_(b)=4.60,R_(a)=1.125 R_(⊙),R_(b)=0.88R_(⊙),L_(a)=1.849 L_(⊙),L_(b)=0.342 L_(⊙).Our analysis shows that the spectral types of the components are F9 and *** combining the orbital solution with the parallax measurements of Gaia DR2 and EDR3,we estimate the individual masses using the H-R diagram as M_(a)=1.09 M_(⊙)and M_(b)=0.59 M_(⊙)for using Gaia DR2 parallax and M_(a)=1.10 M_(⊙)and M_(b)=0.61 M_(⊙)for using Gaia EDR3 ***,the location of both system's components on the stellar evolutionary tracks is presented.

The purpose of this research is the segmentation of lungs computed tomography(CT)scan for the diagnosis of COVID-19 by using machine learning *** dataset contains data from patients who are prone to the *** contains three types of lungs CT images(Normal,Pneumonia,and COVID-19)collected from two different sources;the first one is the Radiology Department of Nishtar Hospital Multan and Civil Hospital Bahawalpur,Pakistan,and the second one is a publicly free available medical imaging database known as *** the preprocessing,a novel fuzzy c-mean automated region-growing segmentation approach is deployed to take an automated region of interest(ROIs)and acquire 52 hybrid statistical features for each ***,12 optimized statistical features are selected via the chi-square feature reduction *** the classification,five machine learning classifiers named as deep learning J4,multilayer perceptron,support vector machine,random forest,and naive Bayes are deployed to optimize the hybrid statistical features *** is observed that the deep learning J4 has promising results(sensitivity and specificity:0.987;accuracy:98.67%)among all the deployed *** a complementary study,a statistical work is devoted to the use of a new statistical model to fit the main datasets of COVID-19 collected in Pakistan.

Optimization of the Degradation of Hydroquinone, Resorcinol and Catechol Using Response Surface Methodology

A clay catalyst (montmorillonite and kaolinite) was prepared and used to degrade three phenolic compounds: hydroquinone, resorcinol and catechol obtained from the treatment the Olive Mill Wastewater (OMW) generated in the production of olive oil. The operating conditions of the degradation of these compounds are optimized by the response surface methodology (RSM) which is an experimental design used in process optimization studies. The results obtained by the catalytic tests and analyses performed by different techniques showed that the modified montmorillonites have very interesting catalytic, structural and textural properties;they are more effective for the catalytic phenolic compound degradation, they present the highest specific surface and they may support iron ions. We also determined the optimal degradation conditions by tracing the response surfaces of each compound;for example, for the catechol, the optimal conditions of degradation at pH 4 are obtained after 120 min at a concentration of H2O2 equal to 0.3 M. Of the three phenolic compounds, the kinetic degradation study revealed that the hydroquinone is the most degraded compound in the least amount of time. Finally, the rate of the catalyst iron ions release in the reaction is lower when the Fe-modified montmorillonites are used.

Knowledge Attitude and Practice about Water-Pipe Smoking among Saudi Population

Water pipe smoking has been practiced extensively for about 400 years. Water pipe smoking is common in the Saudi Arabia. Water-pipe smoking exposes smokers to high levels of tobacco and toxins. An observational and cross-sectional survey carried among 1170 participants to determine the knowledge, attitude, and practice about water-pipe smoking among Saudi population. Data was collected and obtained by the online questionnaire that has been created in Google form and then published in different social media platforms over a period from September 2019 to November 2019. The data were entered in Excel and analyzed in EpiInfo7 statistical software to get descriptive statistics. Results: About 70% were females and 30% male, 43% of them are university students with 83% in the age group of the 18 - 25 high participants. Low knowledge of Carbon monoxide poisoning effects = 78%, While 54% of the participants showed low knowledge about infectious disease transmitted by water-pipe. The Knowledge about water pipe contents and carbon monoxide poisoning was low. Further efforts will be necessary to increase the level of awareness among participants in Saudi Arabia regarding water pipe contents and carbon monoxide poisoning.
