An Efficient Color-Image Encryption Method Using DNA Sequence and Chaos Cipher

Nowadays,high-resolution images pose several challenges in the context of image *** encryption of huge images’file sizes requires high computational *** encryption techniques like,Data Encryption Standard(DES),and Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)are not only inefficient,but also less *** to characteristics of chaos theory,such as periodicity,sensitivity to initial conditions and control parameters,and ***,the characteristics of deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA),such as vast parallelism and large storage capacity,make it a promising *** paper presents an efficient color image encryption method utilizing DNA encoding with two types of hyper-chaotic *** proposed encryption method comprises three *** first step initializes the conditions for generating Lorenz and Rossler hyper-chaotic maps using a plain image Secure Hash Algorithm(SHA-256/384).The second step performs a confusion procedure by scrambling the three components of the image(red,green,and blue)using Lorenz hyper-chaotic ***,the third step combines three approaches to encrypt the scrambled components for diffusion:DNA encoding/decoding,addition operation between components,and XORing with Rossler hyper-chaotic *** simulation results indicate that the suggested encryption algorithm satisfies the requirements of *** entropy value of confusion and diffusion is 7.997,the key space is 2200,and the correlation coefficient is nearly *** efficacy of the proposed method has been verified through numerous evaluations,and the results show its resistance and effectiveness against several attacks,like statistical and brute-force ***,the devised algorithm vanquishes other relevant color image encryption algorithms.

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is characterized as a disease caused by a novel coronavirus known as severe acute respiratory coronavirus syndrome 2(SARS-CoV-2;formerly known as 2019-nCoV).In December 2019,COVID-19 began to appear in a few *** the beginning of 2020,it had spread to most countries across the *** is when education challenges began to *** COVID-19 crisis led to the closure of thousands of schools and universities all over the *** a situation requires reliance on e-learning and robotics education for students to continue their studies to avoid the mingling between people and *** relation to this alternative learning solution,the present study was conducted.A systematic literature review on educational robotics(ER)keywords between 2015–2020 was carried out for the purpose to review a total of 2253 articles from the selected sources;Scopus(452),Taylor&Francis(311),Science Direct(427),IEEE Xplore(221),and Web of Science(842).This review procedure was labelled as Taxonomy *** ltering Taxonomy 1,it was found that 98 scientic articles formed the so-called Taxonomy II that was categorized into six categories:(i)Robotics concepts,(ii)Device,(iii)Robotic applications,(iv)Manufacturing robots,(v)Robotics analysis,and(vi)Education/*** this study,only 35 articles in this specic eld were selected,of which were then assigned into three categories:(i)Application,(ii)Platform,and(iii)*** results show that the application category carries 17.4%,platform 20%,and education 22.85%.This study serves as the application platform to help students,academics,and researchers.

Preparation of solar-enhanced AlZnO@carbon nano-substrates for remediation of textile wastewaters

Photoactive aluminum doped ZnO(AlZnO)was synthesized by sol-gel *** that,AlZnO photocatalyst was deposited on five carbon-based materials(CBMs)using ultrasonic route followed by solid-state mixing using ball *** CBMs used were poly aniline(PANI),carbon nitride(CN),carbon nanotubes(CNT),graphene(G),and carbon nanofibers(CNF).The crystal phases,elemental compositions,morphological,and optical properties of the AlZnO@CBMs composites were *** results revealed that two of AlZnO@CBMs composites exhibited superior bleaching efficiency(100%removal)and photocatalytic stability(three cycles)for 50μmol/L Methylene Blue(MB)contaminated water after 60 min irradiation in visible light at pH 6.5,0.7%H2O2,and 5 g/L inorganic *** optimum conditions,AlZnO@CBMs nanocomposites were employed for the treatment of mixed dyestuffs composed of MB,Methyl Orange(MO),Astrazone Blue FRR(BB 69),and Rhodamine B(RhB)dyes under dark,ultraviolet,visible,and direct *** mixed dyestuffs,the AlZnO@G achieved the highest dye sorption capacity(60.91μmol dye stuffs/g)with kinetic rate 8.22×10^-3 min^-1 in 90 min via multi-layer physisorption(Freundlich isotherm)on graphene *** additions,AlZnO@CN offered the highest photo-kinetic rate(Kphoto)of^54.1×10^-3 min^-1(93.8%after 60 min)under direct ***,the selective radical trapping experiment confirmed that the holes and oxidative superoxide radicals are crucial on dyes photodegradation *** to their superior performance,AlZnO@G and AlZnO@CN nanocomposites can offer an effective in-situ solar-assisted adsorption/photocatalytic remediation of textile wastewater effluents.

多尺度旋涡现象广泛地存在于工程领域的湍流中.研究湍流的重要方法是大涡模拟,但大涡模拟中的过度耗散问题是曲面边界、多尺度旋涡模拟所面临的主要困难.为了克服过度耗散的缺陷,使大曲率曲面边界的多尺度涡流脉动特性预报更准确,文章采用正则化变分多尺度模型(RVM)改进了壁面自适应涡黏模型(WALE)中的亚格子模型,并采用C++语言在Open FOAM开源平台实现了计算代码编译.文章以经典圆柱黏性绕流作为曲面边界黏性绕流的代表,讨论了改进的大涡模型(MWALE)中滤波算子对亚临界雷诺数(Re=4.0×10^(4))波算子阶数(n)敏感.四阶滤波算子(n=2)能准确地预报圆柱壁面的平均涡量及尾流瞬时涡量分布、再循环旋涡长度和速度剖面,而二阶滤波算子(n=1)无法准确地预测分离区和尾流区内脉动速度剖面,因此在强压力梯度区四阶滤波算子预测的压力分布、脉动升阻力与实验结果吻合的更好,能更准确地捕捉到多尺度旋涡结构.

MXene has garnered widespread recognition in the scientific com-munity due to its remarkable properties,including excellent thermal stability,high conductivity,good hydrophilicity and dispersibility,easy processability,tunable surface properties,and admirable *** have been categorized into different families based on the number of M and X layers in M_(n+1)X_(n),such as M_(2)X,M_(3)X_(2),M_(4)X_(3),and,recently,M_(5)X_(4).Among these families,M_(2)X and M_(3)X_(2),par-ticularly Ti_(3)C_(2),have been greatly explored while limited studies have been given to M_(5)X_(4)MXene ***,studies on the M_(4)X_(3)MXene family have developed recently,hence,demanding a compilation of evaluated ***,this review provides a systematic overview of the latest advancements in M_(4)X_(3)MXenes,focusing on their properties and applications in energy storage *** objective of this review is to provide guidance to researchers on fostering M_(4)X_(3)MXene-based nanomaterials,not only for energy storage devices but also for broader applications.

Petrophysical relationship for density prediction using Vp & Vs in Meyal oilfield, Potwar sub-basin, Pakistan

Conventional petrophysical investigations are based on P-wave seismic velocity analysis to predict density information, while ignoring the important S-wave velocity. This study is based on S-wave velocity analysis of density estimation of Meyal Oil Field(Potwar Plateau, Pakistan), which reveals a very high correlation(R=0.87) between predicted and actual density. Since the availability of S-wave velocity(Vs) data increases, it’s highly appreciable to take into account the contribution of Vs in improvement of density estimates. This investigation only focuses on driving new constants(a = 1.92 and b = 0.186) for Gardner’s relationship to estimate density of pure carbonates(Vsh< 10%) in the study area, where the traditional model gave poorer density predictions. The proposed empirical expression with locally extracted unknowns from well log data proved its ability in terms of density prediction(showing very close agreement with measured densities) and best fitting the datasets at low as well as high density values when compared with Gardner’s equation. Based on our analysis, the exploratory study neither intends to replace the well established density estimation models nor to extend information over what information can possibly be extractable from Vp. However, our research does stimulate the growing use of Vs and importance of local unknown constants especially in carbonates reservoir interval to avoid misuse of most widely used Gardner relation in all geological settings.

Association of spiritual well-being with quality of life among undergraduate nursing students

Objective:The study was conducted with the aim of determining the spiritual well-being(SWB)of nursing students and its association with quality of life(QOL).Materials and Methods:A cross-sectional analytical study was conducted with a sample size of 504 nursing students collected from January 2023 to March 2023 in the nursing institutes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Pakistan,using convenient sampling techniques.A Spiritual Health and Life-Orientation Measure(SHALOM)questionnaire for SWB and K-27 QOL(K-27 QOL)instrument were used for data collection that contains three ***:The number of female participants was in the majority(50.4%)compared to male nurses(49.6%).The overall mean score of SWB of the students was 3.79±0.48,while the mean K-27 QOL score was 3.73±*** were significant differences between the groups of gender(P=0.001),while no significant difference within the groups of semester(P=0.061)and college status(0.285).In QOL,there were significant differences within the groups of semester(P=0.000)and college status(P=0.036)while no significant difference in gender category(P=0.480).SHALOM score is positively and moderately correlated with QOL score(r=0.597,P<0.05).Conclusion:Spiritual practices are one of the important factors that are associated positively with QOL,therefore to enhance the QOL,it will require spiritual practices.

Variation in metabolic enzymatic activity in white muscle and liver of blue tilapia,Oreochromis aureus,in response to long-term thermal acclimatization

The effects of rearing temperature on white muscle and hepatic phosphofructokinase （PFK）, pyruvate kinase （PK）, lactate dehydrogenase （LDH）, aspartate aminotransferase （AST） and alanine aminotransferase （ALT） were examined in fingerlings of blue tilapia, Oreochromis aureus. The experiment was conducted for 14 weeks at temperatures of 18, 22, 26, 30, and 34℃. The activity of the glycolytic enzymes PFK, PK, and LDH in white muscle increased significantly with increase in water temperature. A reverse trend was observed for these enzymes in the liver, except for LDH, which behaved in the same manner as in white muscle. Cytosolic AST and ALT activity increased in both white muscle and liver in response to warm thermal acclimatization, while a reduction in mitochondrial AST and ALT activity was noticed at high temperatures in comparison with those at a lower temperature.
