In recent years,small-size,low-weight aerospace propulsion systems have developed rapidly for space exploration,on-orbit scientific instruments and extra space missions,while additional electron emission devices are commonly required in those propulsion *** nanotube(CNT)based field emission cathodes exhibit extraordinary field emission properties and are regarded to be an ideal alternative of conventional thermionic or hollow *** this study,the authors give an overview of present status of researches on CNT-based electron emission cathodes for utilising as neutralisers or electron sources particularly in space electric propulsion systems,the theory and characteristics of CNT are also ***,challenges,problems and possible solutions before actual applications of CNT in a space mission are discussed accordingly.

For space-based gravitational wave （GW） detection,the main noise source for massive black hole binaries （MBHBs） is attributed to approximately 10～7double white dwarf binaries in the *** a GW source,the amplitude of the detector response,recorded by a space-based gravitational wave detector,exhibits a modulation effect with a year period when observing the source from various orbital *** the adverse conditions mentioned above,where there is a strong foreground noise and annual modulation in the signals,we employed the wavelet transform and the strong-amplitude relevant orbital position search methods,which allows the weak MBHB sources to achieve higher locating *** detail,for two MBHB sources of lower intensity,the precision of luminosity distance,represented by the ratio ?DL/DLat the 95%confidence level,is enhanced by factors of ～*** angular resolutions,denoted by??s,are enhanced by a factor of ～*** improvements increase the number of detectable GW sources,facilitate multi-messenger follow-up observations and provide constraints on the cosmological constant.

Upper Hybrid Resonance of Microwaves with a Large Magnetized Plasma Sheet

A large magnetized plasma sheet with size of 60 cm×60 cm×2 cm was generated by a linear hollow cathode discharge under the confinement of a uniform magnetic field generated by a Helmholtz Coil. The microwave transmission characteristic of the plasma sheet was measured for different incident frequencies, in cases with the electric field polarization of the incident microwave either perpendicular or parallel to the magnetic field. In this measurement, parameters of the plasma sheet were changed by varying the discharge current and magnetic field intensity. In the experiment, upper hybrid resonance phenomena were observed when the electric field polarization of the incident wave was perpendicular to the magnetic field. These resonance phenomena cannot be found in the case of parallel polarization incidence. This result is consistent with theoretical consideration. According to the resonance condition, the electron density values at the resonance points are calculated under various experimental conditions. This kind of resonance phenomena can be used to develop a specific method to diagnose the electron density of this magnetized plasma sheet apparatus. Moreover, it is pointed out that the operating parameters of the large plasma sheet in practical applications should be selected to keep away from the upper hybrid resonance point to prevent signals from polarization distortion.

BACKGROUND Cerebrovascular disease(CVD)poses a serious threat to human health and ***,developing a reasonable exercise program plays an important role in the long-term recovery and prognosis for patients with *** have shown that predictive nursing can improve the quality of care and that the information–knowledge–attitude–practice(IKAP)nursing model has a positive impact on patients who suffered a *** studies have combined these two nursing models to treat *** To explore the effect of the IKAP nursing model combined with predictive nursing on the Fugl–Meyer motor function(FMA)score,Barthel index score,and disease knowledge mastery rate in patients with *** A total of 140 patients with CVD treated at our hospital between December 2019 and September 2021 were randomly divided into two groups,with 70 patients in *** control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received the IKAP nursing model combined with predictive *** groups were observed for self-care ability,motor function,and disease knowledge mastery rate after one month of *** There was no clear difference between the Barthel index and FMA scores of the two groups before nursing(P>0.05);however,their scores increased after *** increase was more apparent in the observation group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The rates of disease knowledge mastery,timely medication,appropriate exercise,and reasonable diet were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate in the observation group(97.14%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(81.43%;P<0.05).CONCLUSION The IKAP nursing model,combined with predictive nursing,is more effective than routine nursing in the care of patients with CVD,and it can significantly improve the Barthel index and FMA scores with better knowledge acquisition,as well as produce high satisfaction in ***

Nowadays,force sensors play an important role in industrial production,electronic information,medical health,and many other ***-dimensional material-based filed effect transistor(2D-FET)sensors are competitive with nano-level size,lower power consumption,and accurate ***,few of them has the capability of impulse detection which is a path function,expressing the cumulative effect of the force on the particle over a period of *** we fabricated the flexible polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)gate dielectric MoS_(2)-FET for force and impulse sensor *** systematically investigated the responses of the sensor to constant force and varying forces,and achieved the conversion factors of the drain current signals(I_(ds))to the detected impulse(I).The applied force was detected and recorded by I_(ds)with a low power consumption of~30 *** sensitivity of the device can reach~8000%and the 4×1 sensor array is able to detect and locate the normal force applied on ***,there was almost no performance loss for the device as left in the air for two months.

Larval and Juvenile Growth Performance of Manila Clam Hybrids of Two Full-Sib Families

In order to determine whether growth performance could be improved by hybridizing full-sib families of Manila clam （Ruditapes philippinarum）, crosses between two full-sib families including self and reciprocal crosses were carried out. The effects of heterosis, combining ability and interaction on the growth of shell length were estimated. The results showed that the growth of hybrid larvae was intermediate between parents on days 6 and 9. Heterosis on shell length was observed, which varied at juvenile stage. The cross of ♂A×♀B （Hp varied between 10.41% and 68.27%） displayed larger heterosis than ♂A×♀B （Hp varied between 1.89% and 32.33%） did, suggesting that ♂A×♀B was an ideal hatchery method of improving the growth performance of Manila clam. The variances of general combining ability （GCA）, special combining ability （SCA） and interaction （I） were significant in shell length （P〈 0.05）, indicating that both additive and non-additive genetic factors were important contributors to the growth of larvae and juveniles. The GCA for shell length of ♂A×♀B was higher than that of ♂A×♀B at both larval and juvenile stages. This con- firmed that the cross between ♂A and ♀B showed great growth in shell length. In summary, the growth of Manila clam seeds could be improved by hybridizing selected parents from large numbers of full-sib families.

Synthetic biology is moving in the direction of larger and more sophisticated design,which depends heavily on the efficient assembly of genetic *** evaluation of the DNA assembly efficiency(AE)requires transformation,and the whole process requires up to 10 h and is susceptible to various *** achieve rapid and reliable determination of the AE,an alternative transformation-independent method was established using a modified quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR)*** AE is represented by the proportion of the ligated fragment,which can be determined within 3 *** qPCR-based measurement was tested by the commonly used restriction ligation,Golden Gate assembly,and Gibson assembly for the assembly of two or more DNA pieces;the results correlated significantly with the AEs represented by the counting of the colony-forming units(CFUs).This method outperformed the CFU-based measurement by reducing the measuring bias and the random deviations that stem from the transformation *** method was then employed to investigate the effects of terminal secondary structures on DNA *** results revealed the major effects of the overall properties of the overlap sequence and the negative effects of hairpin structures on the AE,which are relevant for all assembly techniques that rely on homologous annealing of the terminal *** qPCR-based approach presented here should facilitate the development of DNA assembly techniques and the diagnosis of inefficient assemblies.

This paper uses two subsets of ensemble historical-Nat simulations and pi-Control simulations from CMIP5 as well as observational/reanalysis datasets to investigate responses of the tropical Pacific to the 11-yr solar cycle.A statistically significant 11-yr solar signal is found in the upper-ocean layers above the thermocline and tropospheric circulations.A warming response initially appears in the upper layers of the central equatorial Pacific in the solar maximum years in observations,then increases and shifts into the eastern Pacific at lagged 1-3 ***,an anomalous updraft arises over the western equatorial Pacific and shifts eastwards in the following years with anomalous subsidence over the Maritime *** lagged responses are confirmed by the historical-Nat simulations,except that the initial signal is located more to the west and all the responses are weaker than the observed.A simplified mixed-layer heat budget analysis based on the historical-Nat simulations suggests that the atmospheric forcing,especially the shortwave radiation,is the major contributor to the initial warming response,and the ocean heat transport effect is responsible for the eastward displacement of the lagged warming *** the solar maximum years,the zonal ocean temperature gradient in the western-central Pacific is reduced by the initial warming,and anomalous westerly winds appear over the western equatorial Pacific and extend into the eastern Pacific during the lagged *** anomalous westerly winds reduce the wind-driven ocean dynamical transport,resulting in the initial warming in the central equatorial Pacific being amplified and the surface warming shifting eastward during the lagged 1-3 yr.
