Abnormalities in the transition betw.enα-helices andβ-sheets(α-βtransition)may lead to devastating neurodegenerative diseases,such as Parkinson's syndrome and Alzheimer's *** liquids(ILs)are potential drugs for targeted therapies against these diseases because of their excellent bioactivity and designability of ***,the mechanism through w.ich ILs regulate the aα-βtransition remains ***,a combination of GPU-accelerated microsecond molecular dynamics simulations,correlation analysis,and machine learning w.s used to probe the dynamicalα-βtransition process induced by ILs of 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride([Cnmim]cl)and its molecular ***,the cation of[C,mim]+in ILs can spontaneously insert into the peptides as free ions(n≤10)and clusters(n≥11).Such insertion can significantly inhibit theα-β,transition and the inhibiting ability for the clusters is more significant than that of free ions,w.ere[Ciomim]+and[Ci2mim]+can reduce the maximumβ-sheet content of the peptide by 18.5%and 44.9%,***,the correlation analysis and machine learning method w.re used to develop a predictive model accounting for the influencing factors on theα-βtransition,w.ich could accurately predict the effect of ILs on theα-β***,these quantitative results may not only deepen the understanding of the role of ILs in theα-βtransition but also guide the development of the IL-based treatments for related diseases.

The sloshing in a group of rigid cylindrical tanks w.th baffles and on soil foundation under horizontal excitation is studied *** solutions for the velocity potential are derived out by the liquid subdomain *** models w.th mass-spring oscillators are established to replace continuous *** w.th the least square technique,Chebyshev polynomials are employed to fit horizontal,rocking and horizontal-rocking coupling impedances of soil,respectively.A lumped parameter model for impedance is presented to describe the effects of soil on tank structures.A mechanical model for the soil-foundation-tank-liquid-baffle system w.th small amount of calculation and high accuracy is proposed using the substructure *** analytical solutions are in comparison w.th data from reported literature and numerical codes to validate the effectiveness and correctness of the *** dynamic properties and seismic responses of the soil-tank system are given for the baffle number,size and location as w.ll as soil parameter.

Improvement of fabrication efficiency and part performance w.s the main challenge for the large-scale pow.er bed fusion(PBF)*** this study,a dynamic monitoring and feedback system of pow.er bed temperature field using an infrared thermal imager has been established and integrated into a four-laser PBF equipment w.th a w.rking area of 2000 mm×2000 *** heat-affected zone(HAZ)temperature field has been controlled by adjusting the scanning speed ***,the relationship among spot size,HAZ temperature,and part performance has been *** fluctuation of the HAZ temperature in four-laser scanning areas w.s decreased from 30.85℃to 17.41℃.Thus,the consistency of the sintering performance of the produced large component has been *** on the controllable temperature field,a dynamically adjusting strategy for laser spot size w.s proposed,by w.ich the fabrication efficiency w.s improved up to 65.38%.The current research results w.re of great significance to the further industrial applications of large-scale PBF equipment.

This paper reports a multifunctional magnetic-photoelectric laminate device based on the integration of spintronic material(La0.7Sr0.3MnO3) and multiferroic（Ni-doped BiFeO3）, in w.ich the repeatable modulation effect on the photoelectric properties w.re achieved by applying external magnetic fields. More obviously, photocurrent density（J） of the laminate w.s largely enhanced, the change rate of J up to 287.6% is obtained. This sensing function effect should be attributed to the low.field magnetoresistance effect in perovskite manganite and the scattering of spin photoelectron in multiferroic material. The laminate perfectly combines the functions of sensor and controller, w.ich can not only reflect the intensity of environmental magnetic field, but also modulate the photoelectric conversion performance. This w.rk provides an alternative and facile w.y to realize multi-degree-of-freedom control for photoelectric conversion performances and lastly miniaturize multifunction device.

This paper aimed to propose tw. algorithms,DA-M and RF-M,of reducing the impact of multipath interference(MPI)on intensity modulation direct detection(IM-DD)systems,particularly for four-level pulse amplitude modulation(PAM4)***-M reduced the fluctuation by averaging the signal in blocks,RF-M estimated MPI by subtracting the decision value of the corresponding block from the mean value of a signal block,and then generated interference-reduced samples by subtracting the interference signal from the product of the corresponding MPI estimate and then w.ighting *** paper firstly proposed to separate the signal before decision-making into multiple blocks,w.ich significantly reduced the complexity of DA-M and *** results show.d that the MPI noise of 28 GBaud IMDD system under the linew.dths of 1e5 Hz,1e6 Hz and 10e6 Hz can be effectively alleviated.

Meiosis is the process of producing haploid gametes through a series of complex chromosomal events and the coordinated action of various *** mitochondrial protease complex(ClpXP),w.ich consists of caseinolytic mitochondrial matrix peptidase X(ClpX)and caseinolytic protease P(ClpP)and mediates the degradation of misfolded,damaged,and oxidized proteins,is essential for maintaining mitochondrial *** has been implicated in meiosis regulation,but its precise role is currently *** this study,w. engineered an inducible male germ cell-specific knockout caseinolytic mitochondrial matrix peptidase X(Clpx^(cKO))mouse model to investigate the function of ClpX in *** found that disrupting Clpx in male mice induced germ cell apoptosis and led to an absence of sperm in the ***,it caused asynapsis of homologous chromosomes and impaired meiotic recombination,resulting in meiotic arrest in the zygotene-to-pachytene transition *** loss of ClpX compromised the double-strand break(DSB)repair machinery by markedly reducing the recruitment of DNA repair protein RAD51 homolog 1(RAD51)to DSB *** dysfunction may be due to an insufficient supply of energy from the aberrant mitochondria in Clpx^(cKO) spermatocytes,as discerned by electron ***,ubiquitination signals on chromosomes and the expression of oxidative phosphorylation subunits w.re both significantly attenuated in Clpx^(cKO) *** together,w. propose that ClpX is essential for maintaining mitochondrial protein homeostasis and ensuring homologous chromosome pairing,synapsis,and recombination in spermatocytes during meiotic prophase I.
